Guilty of price gouging

My wife and I have had our email accounts with Wisper for several years at a cost of $2/mo for each account--a total of $4/mo. Wisper has now raised the cost to $10/mo per account--a total of $20/mo. That's a 500% increase. This is price gouging plain and simple as Wisper goes the extra mile in contributing to the current inflationary economy.

Well I want to start off by saying that they weren’t all bad until I moved and when I moved I asked all the neighbors around me who their providers are and they all stated whisper, well I tried to get whisper out and to reinstall my equipment and they said I am no longer in there “preferred” area so they kept charging my account even though nothing was being used and then tried to tell me that I broke contract because I made a complaint about the whole situation to customer support , then on top of that tried to charge my account $2000 dollars because of the breach of contract that they broke, and when I told them where they could shove it, they sent it to collections and now I have like 8 different debt collectors telling me I need to pay it or my credit will have a negative impact. the place is a damn joke, absolutely worst experience I’ve ever endured, get out while you can!! T-Mobile offers so much better internet for 50 bucks a month and no dropouts or service issues nothing but great service from them.

Too many outages

Service since Whisper Internet took over from Easynet has been better. Lately, we have been having alot of outages. Sometimes short, but this one now has been 2 days. They can't even tell us when they may be able to solve there problem.

Do not get wisper.

Customer service is terrible and will not work with you. Internet is always going out. They threaten to charge you for things that are not your fault. They rarely answer the phones when I call. They over charge people too. I did the $95 plan and we werent even getting what we were paying for. It was supposed to be up to 100 but we were only get 50 or lower no matter what we did.

Absolute terrible ran company

Absolute terrible ran company, I’ve had it for about 8 years it worked ok at first in the last year I’ve made appointments and taken off work and nobody shows up. No calls to say they aren’t showing up or anything. Always have an excuse, the bucket truck is down has been used on me 3 times, they always blame trees for being an issue yet it’ll work after a rainstorm then nothing so to them giving an excuse is easier than fixing their problems. I’d steer very clear if you can. I average .25mb download yes .25mb and they still charge 65 a month without a single credit or anything not to mention I’ve lost close to 1500 by taking off work 3 days and then not showing up.

This ISP is probably the most unreliable service in South Missouri!

This ISP is probably the most unreliable service in Southwest Missouri! I'm 5 miles from the clear line of sight tower and very frequently loose service or it drops down to old dial up speeds! My wife's law practice depends in reliable service and this is definitely not it! If your in the South or Southwest Missouri area or anywhere your considering Wisper you should definitely weight your other options. Starlink will be coming soon hopefully!

We hav had it for 4 weeks and have had…

We have had it for 4 weeks and have had an outage every week. It is out again and no one is in on Sunday. Plus I was told previously if it our equipment it take a few weeks for someone to come service it.

We signed up for Wisper Internet about…

We signed up for Wisper Internet about a month ago and couldn't be Happier. We got the 75 mb service for about the same price as Centurylink but Wisper actually works. We have has one small billing problem and Wisper actually let me talk to a Real Person. What a relief. They took care of the problem while i was on the Phone. Great Service and we Love the Internet Speed. Wondering why id didn't call sooner.

If you are looking for internet that works 10 percent of the time and slow when it does come on and then still get charged full price after going to the "best" plan they have ... look no further this is it .. worst excuse for an internet provider EVER!!

It’s actually Trash 🗑

It only works great when it’s perfect weather outside, I mean that literally. When it’s too hot, rainy/stormy, snowing, it WILL, I repeat, WILL, go out. At the most random times, it goes out as well like right now, Aug. 6, 2022. Like what the heck could possibly be wrong. And then when it’s time to actually leave work, they do, instead of fixing the internet and working overtime like they are supposed too, so much for customers first.

Weather not perfect? No internet for you

Service goes down if the weather isn't perfect. Sometimes even a light rain is enough to to make it go out. The tower is literally across the street. Horrible bandwidth even after upgrading to $85 a month. We have no other choices and within the last year seen so many outages and issues with our connection. Also goes out at around 12:30am for no reason multiple times a month. I really on my phone hot spot most of the week because if it rains, we don't have service for at least 2 days. Can't wait till spectrum lays the fiber lines, because this is unacceptable

10 year Whisper Customer. Home damage.

Ten year customer and disabled veteran. Whisper calls me and wants to “upgrade my system”. The instal team shows up. They insist to relocate router from where it’s always been. Instead of following the original cable routing from the previous Whisper install that was on a side of the house you can’t see from the road. They run the unsightly cable down my roof centerline shingles. Then down my shingles across my siding and thru the exterior wall visible roadside. Now I’ve got about two dozen new holes in my roof and siding. No visible attempts to seal the new holes in my roof and it’s been raining non stop since the instal.
Bonus feature they unhooked all my entertainment systems that will not reach the new router location and left them unhooked. They left their old cables in a pile on my living room floor along with all the debri from boring new holes thru my wall. Good luck getting anyone at Whisper to address the damage. Nothing but lip service and no call from their damage claims department.

Since it won’t let me reply to Whisper I’ll add it here. Whisper has had my information for over a month with 0 reply. Today 06 23 2022) they sent a tech by with 0 call to inform me they were coming. Evidently the “upgrade” antenna they installed that started all this is faulty to. He took pictures of this ridiculous instal. I refused to let him touch anything till I am contacted by management.
It’s a shame since my service has been pretty good up till now.

internet is not good for gaming ping jumps too over 500 on reg basis cellphone hotspot is more reliable

Our internet has got worse since wisper…

Our internet has got worse since wisper bough out easynet. The service tecks came out about three months ago and our service is worse. Can't wait until our name comes up for starling or tmobile

Best internet I’ve ever used

Best internet I’ve ever used. Seldom has issues and when it’s down, it’s fixed immediately. Very nice and polite staff.

Service outages

There have been a few outages I have experienced which is an inconvenience as I need the internet service due to working from home. Other than that, service is great.

Fine when it works

I’ve had this service for the last two or three months and I’ve been very disappointed. I’m writing this from my personal hotspot dies to yet another issue with the isp. Every time we have any kind of weather event ( even mild rain) we lose service. Sometimes it it short lived but sometimes it has a long term effect. We had rain yesterday and we still have slow service or no service at all at times, even after resetting the equipment.

I'm still waiting for my phone service…

I'm still waiting for my phone service to be connected. I was told that I would receive a call and be given a number. I finally went in to check on this and then they needed a copy of a previous phone bill. I have given them a copy of my spectrum which has my phone along with my internet, and cable bill. The people I have talked to have been polite and professional but I still do not have any phone service.
