Problem was that your site does not say which direction the handle turns when unlocked. I needed the handle to turn clockwise but the one I bought went anti clockwise it so did not work with the internal mechanism. So lock was off no use to me 😢
I have looked on your site for an alternative but none say which way they turn.

Thank you for the response below, I have tested and you are correct (obviously), however as the lock only does a quarter turn, this means that in the new locked position the ‘T’ would be horizontal and not vertical as I would like.

I bought two garage door springs for my old up and over doors. I phoned to order, very straight forward. delivery was quick. all good.
Fitting them was easier than expected, instructions were easy to follow, it was harder to remove the old spring, used a cutting grinder.
Tip. before removing I drilled two holes in side of door and screwed the door to the wood frame, so it would not move.
Overall very good, work like new again, and I didn't have to spend a fortune on new doors.
