Scot is RIGHT - Addmotor is a SCAM!
Scott, the previous reviewer, is absolutely correct! This company is a sham with SCAMMERS! They had no problem immediately taking my $2000+ for their hypothetical new (but even now, yet to be released) SPYTAN Etrike that they said would be delivered shortly (that was months ago).
After not hearing a peep from ADDMOTOR for weeks, I finally reached out and asked when would I receive my etrike. They said there was a delay that was not their fault, and the new etrike would be delivered mid- to late May. It's now late May, and still no etrike or a single communication from them. So, yesterday, I had to reached out again, find out where's my etrike. Now they say there is ANOTHER delay, and the etrike will not be delivered until mid-to late June.
I asked, "Why the continual delays"? You won't believe this... but they actually said the delay was because of the "upgrade" they added to the new etrike - A WOODEN BOARD ON A FRONT BASKET FOR YOUR PET TO RIDE WITH YOU!
I am not kidding!
They had the audacity to tell me that all these etrikes that have already been purchased in-full MONTHS AGO (mine included) were delayed because the company decided to make this "upgrade". First, I didn't ask for the "upgrade" and do not want the "upgrade". Second, I didn't purchase this etrike with the "upgrade". I want the etrike I purchased. Third, I don't even own a dog that small to ride on my trike, and if I did, I would not think it very safe to do so.
Yes, they have pictures of the new "upgraded" SPYTAN etrike on the website with the small pooch and the dog's leash tied to the etrike. Check it out for yourself! Does that really make sense? Would anyone really tie their dog's leash around a bike? Picture it. As an avid pet lover, I don't think there are too many good pet owners that would consider carrying their tiny pooch around on their etrikes on a wooden board with no front. Right, now front side to the basket. We care more about our own and dog's safety.
This whole experience has been a debacle! I agree with Scott in that the company's "spokespeople" could be eBots. I used the Chat feature on the website (and have copies of all the "conversations") and the responses are vague, they do not use proper English, and only string you along, I guess, in hopes that you will eventually stop communicating because it is so frustrating. You cannot get an honest, straightforward response from them.
Interestingly, they put new pictures on the website supporting their claim of this "upgrade". Do I believe they are doing this? Not a chance. I flat out asked if any of the SPYTANs have been delivered to a single person, and they said no. Maybe the next delay will be caused because of "Upgrade v. 2" which will be a wooden board in the back with an open-backed basket for your grandmother to ride with you, or a cheap plastic windshield to save the rider from bugs! But, I'll bet you it won't be things like needed side mirrors!
I've strayed from the main point: Addmotor is untrustworthily, at best. I think they are THIEVES! Imagine all of the interest they are earning on all of the tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars they have without producing a single SPYTAN for a customer.
They will likely respond to our reviews in the same manner they did to the others that they could not find my order or don't have enough information to help. So, convenient for them. My guess is there are too many of us they've scammed that they need the excuse, and they hope others reading these reviews will think Addmotor is sincere. They are not.
What I would like to do is 1) INFORM THE WORLD about this horrible company (that has an "F" rating by the Better Business Bureau which another reviewer pointed out - oh, how I wish I had know that);
2) CONTACT THE CALIFORNIA ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE and file a complaint, and
3) get together with all of the other people that are still waiting on their etrikes and filed A CLASS-ACTION SUIT AGAINST ADDMOTOR!
Is anyone willing to join me in trying to get the word out about this company? Does anyone know a news reporter that would like to carry the story? I'm pleased that a few reviewers had a good experience with Addmotor. Good for you. But, the rest of us are out money, a ride, and planned events with the Addmotor etrike we already bought. Add on all the frustration they caused and are causing, and the waste of time and money of decent, hardworking human beings with better things to do than try to track down where is the brand new etrike we purchased months ago!

I wish i would have researched this company better. I got fooled by the YouTube reviews and forgot that they are being paid or receiving free products and discounts to say good things. Big mistake. I am currently in a dispute to try and get my money back. Seniors beware. Addmotor has NO customer service skills. And they don't care. Their replies are generic and might be auto generated responses. Their shipping statements are misleading and false. Once they receive your money its too late. Their stall tactics begin. Don't expect an explanation or apology. They have no problem lying about shipments. I now have to wait, who knows how long, to get my money back so i may purchase from a legitimate company....Hey Addmotor, Young people may say, "Oh well, i guess i will just have to wait."......Old people say, "YOU LIED. I WANT MY MONEY BACK! Seniors beware.

Not thinking an electric trike does well in the rain? I live in the Mohave Desert so rain won't be a thing.
My trike is sexy. at 65 it is mobility and the kids at the skate park dig my Fat Tires.
All complex systems fail. parts breaks. Dissapomts arise. $3 Grand is a lot of whoop for a bike. Expectations can often be unreasonable.
I am very happy, so far.

We purchased two of the M360 trikes in…
We purchased two of the M360 trikes in July 2022 and now need to replace the brake pads and we have tried for over a month to contact the company to get the parts and no one will respond to our emails or messages left by phone. My last email even stated that if they did not contact me (and I have tried three or four times and given them plenty of time to respond) that I would post bad reviews and that didn’t even prompt a callback or an email.

Buyer beware. Return policy stinks. Bought trikes and don't feel confident riding them. Felt like you were going to fall over while riding them. By the time you pay a restocking fee and return shipping its hefty.

Great communication and awesome bike. My Motan M-70 was so liked that after a month of having it, it was stolen. I only got to put 5 miles in it. I really miss that bike.This was in 2021

Thie company should be called Badmotor! My Grantan trike cost more than $3000.00 and only worked about two months! Ii got caught in the rain while riding twice and it needs a new motor and controller, almost $1000.00 . Admotor voided the warranty. This company will do and say anything to avoid warranty repairs, they are about sales with the worst customer service you can imagine!! Do not buy an Admotor ebike!

Don’t buy Addmotor! Better Business Rated "F" Look!!!
My husband has had nothing but trouble with his bike. With less than 100 miles the digital display and odometer quit working. It has been at a professional repair shop for months. Addmotor has requested parts be shipped to them for repair, and returned to the shop someone else's bike parts (not compatible) they requested the wheel and later returned it damaged, stating the wheel didn’t need to be shipped and required me to purchase a new wheel. I don’t see them stepping up and making it right. I encourage you to look elsewhere for an electric bike. They ship FedEx and most packages are damaged too. It has been in a repair shop for six months out if twelve. The warranty expired last week. The product is substandard and repair department is worse. Purchase something with better reviews! Update: On 11/16/23, after going back and forth with them, we purchased a new rim. It arrived today. Unbelievable! They sent us someone else's used rim with a broken motor attached! My broken LCD (the only problem I started with) has not been returned to me and probably won't. Now, I have someone else's broken motor, a broken rim, and no LCD at all. I have so many new issues, and they don't care. These people are incompetent and unreliable. Run the other direction fast!!!!! They switch good parts for bad. The bike shop I am using has been in business for decades, and they have never seen anything this bad. I went to the Better Business Bureau for Addmotor, and they have rated them an "F" business with many complaints. 11/17/23, Sir, your response is rubbish. You don't sell new parts, you swip-swap parts and make matters worse. There isn't a customer service department.

I would love to share my experience with Addmotor trikes, but due to putrid business practices, it is impossible. Impossible? It's impossible because it is impossible to call them to place an order or ask a question. ZERO customer service.I was ready to buy, cash in hand, and gave up after 2 days of being transferred to a machine every time. This is there default position. No other options available. They never, EVER, answer phones. Leave a measles, we'll get back to you, even when you want to purchase and need to speak to someone first. I refuse to do this for may $3000.00. Also, a stooge can realize that you are at there mercy if you need after sale service. There is even a message on what to do if you need service... email tech support with proof, pictures, etc. Sure pal, I'll get right on it. What ass holes. No chance they get my money. Too bad, I liked the product. The irony of this is that in reality, are excellent sales people. The problem, is that they just sold a Worksman trike. Have a nice day.

Support Sucks
I have two Addmotor bikes. But, now that they are a couple years old and need parts/service. I have discovered that Addmotor does not even have a support section on their site. There is almost no documentation and they just throw they hands up when asked. This is purely a sales organization. Too bad. I have RAD eBikes too, and can always find great support info online.

I am a 5”4 tall 117 pounds with a 30 inch inseam female.
I researched electric bikes for 3 months and decided on this m 66 r7 based on honest independent reviews and my desired use.
I use this bike 4 days per week to go to work and back home a total of approximately 2 miles round trip. I have a 13 degree slope uphill and then a gradual uphill almost my entire way heading back home. After my work day which is very labor intensive, my regular non electric bike was beyond exhausting.
I received my M 66 r7 in about 9 days after ordering. Delivery was not as expected due to ups driver dropping the bike box off the back of his truck but due to excellent packaging my bike was well protected and was unharmed. However, my charger and accessories box was completely missing.
I contacted addmotor immediately and they replied within 1 hour. They asked for photos of package exactly as it was delivered understandably and I sent them. They walked me through inspecting the bike and assessing for damage etc. I was very disappointed thus far but Addmotor service remained understanding and reassured me that they would send out my missing parts. They followed through with fast and responsive service. My missing parts arrived in about 7 days and I have been enjoying my bike ever since.
I have been using my bike 4 days per week for 2 months now and I have not had a single problem or issue. I have about 70 miles on it so far. The battery is amazing and I don’t even have to charge it for a couple of weeks. I use my lights every time I ride and they work great. I also use mostly throttle only but it feels comfortable and natural with my feet on the pedals. Although the seat is not adjustable it is long and so easy to find the perfect sweet spot to sit, it’s extremely comfortable. The governed speed is adequate for me at 22 mph. This bike has excellent power and torque which I am super happy with. Display is easy to see and use even in direct sunlight. Great quality tires that deliver a smooth ride on my streets. I do not lose speed at all going up my hills. I find that even though it has mechanical brakes, it has excellent stopping power and I put them to the test almost every day going downhill to my work. I was worried that I would not be comfortable riding this bike but as an avid bike rider for decades now, this is the most comfortable bike I have ever ridden. I only ride on my streets and not off road but I feel almost no bumps at all. This bikes front suspension, super thick seat and fat tires works great on my regular streets and my ride is extremely comfortable and smooth. I am so happy that I chose this bike. This is a beautiful bike with excellent build quality and performance in my opinion. It feels very stable and I look forward to going to work now.

Performance is 9 out of 10 ( I do wish the headlight was bigger and brighter and fenders were a bit longer),

I highly recommend this Addmotor M 66 R7 and addmotor.com directly. I plan to purchase another one in the coming spring so I really hope they continue making this great bike. All in all, it has been an outstanding purchase. Did I mention that this bike is so comfortable…Thank you addmotor.com.

I don't have my eTrike yet, and I'm already impressed.
1. I tried to use the A100 discount code, and it didn't work, but I ordered the bike anyway. A few days later, I received an email offering the code again. I was pleasantly surprised after contacting customer support to request the code be applied to my order—no hesitation to apply a credit to my charge card!! (credit received earlier than expected)
2. I wanted to know if a backrest for another model would fit the bike I ordered. I got an answer immediately that it would, but it might block the cargo box. A few days later, they sent me a picture. That's unreal. Someone went to the trouble to mount the backrest and take the picture I didn't request. Now that's great service.
If their products are as good as the staff, I made a great decision going with Addmotor.
Ordered a bike priced in Canadian…
Ordered a bike priced in Canadian dollars when they billed it they charged me almost $200 more. They try to say it was a currency fee or other fee by the bank which is 100% a lie on there part.

UPDATE 8/30/23: Addmotor DID NOT inform me of the change, I was on their site on 8/14/2023 checking for shipment updates, that's how I learned of the change. I called THEM. Yes, they did refund my money, which is what should happen. Their customer service is terrible , as I said. They are only replying to this review because it is causing them problems. The same review on Google has 10,000 views.
ADDMOTOR, IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A GOOD CUSTOMER BASE, THEN START TREATING YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT. AMERICANS WANT TO SPEAK WITH AN AGENT WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM OR QUESTION. Your product may or may not be good, but the way you operate is needs a whole lot of improvement. My review stands.
Addmotor Bait and Switch. I ordered the new E310 on August 8, 2023. Previous emails from the sales team and onsite stated that the tires were 4" wide and 20 in rim diameter. Today, August 15, on their site, the wheels are now listed as: 2.4 inches, 20 in. diameter in front and 18 in. in rear (see photos from Addmotor website on Google reviews).
I went to the chat with the sales dept. and they said "sorry for the inconvenience." They offered me some free gifts to make up. I told them that was not commensurate with the problem they had caused, that Addmotor sold me a trike with false information. They offered another folding trike at $100 off the price of $2,999. I told them they were selling that trike several weeks ago for $200 off. So they offered me $200 off, I said they should make up the difference and they refused.
No resolution from a company that advertises and sells one thing and then switched it after I purchased. No help from Addmotor; they offered me "free gifts", I said no. I think the public needs to know about this. I compared an earlier photo of the trike with the current webpage photo and you can see the difference.
Buyer Beware!! Terrible customer service. They don’t return your phone calls. They didn't even bother to notify us about the changes. This mess up is simply an “inconvenience” (their words) for Addmotor. They do not respect or care about their customers. I think the public deserves to know.

I previously ordered this tire for replacement on my wildtan m5600 rear tire. Must say, Even better than advertised when recieved it. I trail ride alot and have not gotten any flats. I HAVE NOW ORDERED 2 MORE of these kenda 26x4.5 tires. A replacement for the front and a spare. As per my last review, 3700 miles on original tires with tread left but safer to replace. AWESUM. ORDER ADDMOTOR AND BE HAPPY.

Fun to ride a pleasure to own .
I ordered this trike (M360) off the internet . It took less then two weeks to deliver to me . So far there is nothing that I do not like about this trike . The paint job is flawless . welds are clean and smooth . I didn't have the bolts for the seat ,I let them know and they sent them out asap. Love the looks and the feel of this trike .The ride is so comfortable and with a bad back The seat and ride great .

A great overall experience
First and foremost I would like to say, I love my trike. They had lots of options. It was easy for me to order it online and shipping is easy.it came right to my front door. They called me to let me know when they were going to be there. What time? It was real easy to put together. I’m able to go fishing again in the places I couldn’t go fishing and I couldn’t breathe now me and my wife get out there and go bike riding together. I think it’s one of the best things I ever bought a little expensive, but well worth it the only thing that I wish you came with was mirrors, so I can see what was behind me but overall a great purchase
