I phoned this company after I was advised to by my insurance company. I needed insurance for my recently deceased mothers empty proberty. My husband and I spent 40 minutes on the call sorting out the insurance by which time we were both struggling with out tinitus. Eventually it was sorted and I paid a deposite. The man on the phone assured us it could be cancelled anytime. Later that evening 9.15 pm I recieved a long email for the financial agreement with a link to follow and sign. Firstly I only have a phone so struggled to read it, secondly the email threatened that if it wasn't signed I would be charge £25 for every payment missed and it had to be signed within a time limit. It was never mentioned on the phone that this was all going to be done online because if they had I would not have agreed to it with only having a phone. I phone next day as insurance was not due to start for 3 weeks to cancel it. It was less than 24hrs since first call. I cancelled and then got told there was a £65 fee! I said I had not been told this and my husband also said he had not heard that on the call. They said they would listen to recording of call. They phoned back 10 minutes later ( remember call was 40minutes) to say the agent had mentioned fee. Well all I can say is if you are aging, have a hearing issue or are bereaved do not go near this company! I have since googled their fees and it came up with £30.
I am phoning the insurance company that recommended them to inform them on how we were treated. No such thing as 14 day cool off period!

Ross was extremely helpful, professional and responsive throughout the process of arranging our insurance. He made everything very straightforward, kept us updated and was always quick to answer any questions. We really appreciated his help and would happily recommend him.

While the company was relocating to a new office, they completely forgot about our house insurance! No reminder was sent.
This is a great shame, as we have had many years of excellent service from our contact in this company. I assume our contact has left, and they need to concentrate on their clients.

Very good experience in renewing property cover. Their marketing of the risk resulted in what seems like suitable cover at a significantly reduced premium compared with last year. Daniel was patient, helpful, efficient and responded swiftly at every stage of the process.

I was insured through Gallagher Insurance for almost three years. When I first signed up, they offered me the best rate available. However, my premium subsequently increased by approximately 12% each year, despite the fact that I had no accidents, tickets, or penalty points.
About a month ago, I contacted Gallagher because I wanted to add a second car for my wife. My assigned broker did not respond to my email or answer the phone. Eventually, I spoke with another broker, who offered what seemed like a reasonable deal and promised to send the details by email. The email never arrived.
Because of this poor communication, I looked elsewhere and found coverage for both cars that was about 30% cheaper.
When I called Gallagher to cancel my existing policy, I was told that I would have to pay the equivalent of another monthly payment as a cancellation fee. After nearly three years as a claim-free customer, this was extremely disappointing.
I then asked them to send me the cancellation form. When it had not arrived several hours later, I called again and was told that simply sending the form could take up to a week.
Based on my experience, Gallagher Insurance has been difficult to contact, slow to respond, and expensive to leave. I would not recommend them.

Been waiting two weeks no update even tho requested one hours of delays on phone registered complait nothing ,dont reply to emails , wouldnt recomend
