I would like to thank Rebecca Samuel for being absolutely wonderful in arranging my landlord buildings insurance.
When I received my first quote I realised I had been insuring my property based on the sale value not the re-build value.
Rebecca went above and beyond for what should have been a straightforward renewal which became quite messy with all my queries.
Rebecca explained I could have an online survey to establish the re-build value this was very helpful as it was reasonably priced and saved me having to search for a company to do it, she liaised with the surveying team regarding a mapping query I had on the survey and I asked for a couple of changes to information I realised was slightly wrong in the first quote documentation.
Rebecca kept in contact with me with updates and she answered my emails in a timely manner, she reassured me when we were getting near to my renewal date, at no point did I feel anxious about the process because she was very knowledgeable and had everything in hand.
Rebecca you are a star you really looked after me, you were very kind and patient and I very much appreciate everything you did for me, thank you so much!

I was dealing with Steven Callahan at their Boynton Beach office, extremely unprofessional. Made me have 2 inspections on my home and made me wait 6 days before my current policy to expires to email me new documents that I would have "NO WIND COVERAGE." What a rotten surprise! What is the purpose of insurance if that is not covered. Completely and entirely wrong. He couldn't even call me back to explain why. Do NOT do business with this company ever.

I was annoyed with the current insurer making me jump through hoops and increasing prices on the renewal, although I had been without claims in the 16 years of the business. Gallagher worked with me, found a better insurer and back on track. 17 years with Gallagher and counting. My thanks to Sharzul Islam especially for getting this over the line at a busy time for the business.

My home insurance required specialist help due to prior subsidence issues. They provided expert guidance and secured a very comprehensive package and at a price which was the best quoted. I am confident to continue to use them and am impressed with their professional knowledge

I was called by one of your staff members who asked me if I had received the renewal information for my house insurance due on 1st September I replied that I had not received any information by post so she suggested that she’d go through it with me on the phone which I agreed to. All went well until she asked me if I lived within a mile of any flooding. I replied yes but as I lived on a steep hill it did not affect me. The affected area was a flood plain of the River Rother beside the M1 motorway which was also not affected by any flooding. However she did not accept my answer and had to ask some underwriters about it. The reply was that the insurance quote had gone up from £432-14p to about £1000. I said that was ridiculous as I’d explained that it was the flood plain called Whiston Meadows in Rotherham which was sometimes flooded and my house is on a steep hill so was impossible to be flooded. However she wasn’t interested in what I said and was adamant that because it was within a mile of any flooding my house was at risk. I’ve been with Gallagher for several years and have always received good service. I was left feeling upset and frustrated at the end of the call. I’m 75 years old and do not need this hassle.

A fantastic experience with Gallagher, thanks to Galal. He has been excellent from start to finish, clearly explaining our policy and providing outstanding support when we recently had to make a claim. His communication was proactive, professional, and reassuring throughout a stressful time. We felt genuinely looked after and will be looking to renew our policy with Gallagher. Highly recommended.

Your company was recommended by another big insurance firm who were unable to help me. I've spoken to multiple companies about my situation over the last few days and have experienced nothing like this. Your call handler seemed to me to be quite confrontational, almost hostile. He challenged me right from the start about the information I was giving him (which was accurate). In the end, and I've never done this before with a quote, I suggested we stop the call. This may just be the one employee and not the company's ethos but it wasn't a good customer service experience at all for me.

Excellent service! I dealt with Shyheim throughout and his patience was outstanding. He was thorough, knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. He made me feel valued as a customer and tried so hard to get me a competitive quote. He brought some humour to what was a very long winded quote and I felt very comfortable that he had covered all aspects of my policy that I required.
