STEALING MY MONEY, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

They received my return about 40 days ago - they have acknowledged they have received this. I have had to chase up my refund and 9 days ago they said it would be done within the week - I have still not been refunded and they have not replied to me either. I am owed over £200!! Poor customer service - breaching the Consumer Rights Act and the Consumer Contracts Regulations but they don't seem to care - I have already threatened to contact the Police, Ombudsman and Trading Standards yet still no reply. Luckily I have the paper trail to prove all of this.

Bought a t-shirt

Bought a t-shirt, delivery came the day after ( i live in norway), no additional costs or duties which usually happens when u buy from a foreign country. Couldnt be more happy. Great service!

A very late refund

Returned an item pre-Christmas, had confirmation that they received the item but I’ve never been refunded.

Edit: Review changed from 1 to 3. Following the above review, I have now received my refund. The quality of the item was perfectly good, just not a great fit for me. Marked down for the timing of the refund.

Still no refund.....

I placed an order roughly 6 weeks. I am still waiting for the order to be refunded as the quality of the 2x fleeces wasn't good enough.

I have tried several times to contact someone to action the refund on both contact numbers provided, sent 2x emails and still no response.

Awful customer service and wouldn't recommend.

Top quality

Top quality, material is exactly as described and really comfortable, wash well and look good! Downside is my wife is planning to steal mine so will be buying many more!

Clothing quality

Although the ordering, payment and postage was really slick there just isn’t anyway the jumpers quality is worth £70. Half the price and it would be a 5 star company. Can’t fault the rest of their service but the quality does feel cheap for the price paid.

Somewhat Disappointed

Somewhat Disappointed

I was pretty excited about this jacket, but from the moment I received it, there were some concerns. The package it came in looked like it had been reused and had just been covered in tape, which albeit a bit unprofessional wasn't a big deal. However, upon actually trying on the jacket, noticed that there was some weird pink like dye/ coloring around the pockets, which doesn't look great.

Neither is a huge issue, but definitely raises some quality concerns; probably would not buy from Alma again.

Sorry to hear about your experience. The package tape would have most likely been from the postal service either at customs or if there was anything that needed to be taped / covered during transit. Regarding the Jacket, please email us at orders@almadeace.com and we can happily discuss a solution and if it is damaged get another item sent out.

Customer Service is the worst I've ever dealt with

I purchased expedited international shipping to the US, and after multiple weeks I reached out once it was clear my package was lost. They were not able to refund me for my initial purchase, and their only resolution was to refund me for the expedited shipping. I went back and forth with customer service for a period because they were not making any progress on resolving my case. They claimed they could only refund my purchase after they could confirm that the package was lost, even though it had already been a few weeks since purchase. I still haven't received my package or a refund, and I ordered the product last month.
Update: Upon looking at the original charge made to my card, it looks like they also overbilled me $40 more than the current FX rate on the day of purchase, so I had to get my bank involved. After much back and forth, the only resolution they could offer was to cancel the order, and I have still not been refunded. Seriously, do not waste your time here.

Response to their response: 1) They never contacted me during a weekend, not sure why they are claiming this. 2) They specifically denied providing me a refund until much back and forth. 3) When asking them how they could assist me, they said they could provide me a "discount" of my expeditied shipping I had purchased, even though it was now 2 weeks later and I purchased 1-4 day shipping.

Thank you for your feedback.
You contacted us on the 28th January (12 days since shipping)
The parcel has unfortunately been lost via FEDEX which we have opened a claim to find out what has happened.
We contacted you over the weekend which was (UK time not USA) to say we had contacted them to wait for a reply and shown proof of contact.
We offered you a full refund which we tried to process.
You then asked to also send you the same item again as a freebie.
We suggested offering a full refund due to the lost items at the time in which you then had then asked for us to refund fully and also send the items out again…
As a small niche business we are not able to do that offer a freebie.
Our refund to you was blocked as having tried to refund to your bank we found out you had asked your bank to try charge us for the FX rate that they charged you. This was not our part of the transaction and is dependant on the time / rate and the bank you are with, who deal with this transaction - not us. This meant we couldn’t refund you due to the case block you have put on us on 4th February.
As of the 4th Feb we are offering a full refund even though we haven’t heard back from FEDEX regarding the failed/mislaid parcel.

Questionable Stitching

Quality of the material is good and it’s a comfortable fit however, the stitching is flimsy at best which is rather disappointing.

Very happy with my jacket

Very happy with my jacket. Only negative point, the jacket was covered with hairs/ fluff. I had to take my fluff roller to remove the all the fluff. Apart from that, very happy with the jacket.
