Insurance cost was very expensive however given the alternative, was needed, but not used.

Great service, fast check in and out and great car. Low cost and good insurance packages to choose your level of cover and risk. I got my deposit back within 10 minutes of dropping the car off which was great! Wouldn’t go anywhere else to hire a car in Brisbane.

Beware of Alpha Car Hire Tweed Heads – Extremely Unprofessional

I hired a vehicle from Alpha Car Hire in Tweed Heads as my own car was undergoing major work. Unfortunately, my experience with them was terrible. I was charged a $5,000 fee, with the claim that my rental car was stolen, despite having emailed them in advance to extend the rental—a process we had already established.

Not only did they charge me this hefty fee, but their completely unreasonable action of reporting the vehicle stolen and calling the police was both distressing and unacceptable. This is despite having previously communicated with a manager at Alpha via a phone call, where we discussed the situation.

They never informed me about the funds being taken out, and despite returning the vehicle in perfect condition, they refused to return my money. I had to involve Fair Trading to get any resolution, and only after two months did they finally return the funds. I’m certain they would have kept the money if I hadn't involved dispute mediation.

This company’s lack of transparency, dishonesty, and poor communication is completely unacceptable. I highly recommend avoiding Alpha Car Hire if you value your time and money. Their practices are shady at best.

Alpha Car Hire really does make the experience of hiring a car very simple. The emails and messages explained everything clearly. The car was excellent and the counter staff were very friendly and helpful. They'll be top of my list for next time!

I definitely recommend Alpha. The shuttle service was amazing and the driver was extremely polite and helpful. The pick up and drop off was smooth and the prices of the vehicles are affordable. I'll definitely be using them again when I go to Brisbane.

The shuttle service was so convenient from and to the airport,pick up and drop off of vehicle was easy,cost was great,with a good priced full insurance. And the free upgrade was great as we needed it.

Was one of the cheapest options I could find for our family holiday, yet we had a very new car (24k) which was clean and comfortable. Experience from shuttle to service at the car yard was excellent. Will be back for sure.

From Booking inquiries to Shuttle Service to pick up/drop off, it has been a very pleasant end to end experience. And best part is Alpha Car was easily hundreds of dollars cheaper (including insurance) than known brands such as Avis/Hertz/Budget.

Alpha provides a great service , with very helpful,friendly staff. And a great rate .
Both my husband and myself have used Alpha on several occasions and will continue to hire a car from them .
