Visited ask Italian in Wetherby and it’s shocking service waited for over an hour and a half for our mains and only we got was the waitress should we have no staff.
Absolutely waste of monies as this was my mums birthday and this ended as a horrible experience.

We had an absolutely incredible experience at ASK Italian Lakeside with our group of seven, and the Carbonara was undoubtedly the star of the evening—perfectly creamy, rich, and authentic. A massive thank you and five stars to Chef Bobby, who managed to deliver every single dish for our large table with incredible timing and flawless quality. You can really taste the care and skill Bobby puts into his cooking, making what could have been a hectic group dinner into a seamless, delicious, and truly memorable celebration!

The service was good but the food was very mediocre. My pizza was far too hard around the edges and the accompanying chips were cooked for far too long. My partner didn't finish hers as they were seasoned behind belief.
Such a disappointment as my previous experience was at the Glasgow branch and was fantastic. Worlds apart from the experience I have had as the Merry Hill branch.

We 're waiting for food for over an hour, and it tasted bad

The two lovely staff members at the Winchester ask Italian, Chas (I hope that’s right!) were amazing! We were a nightmare and you guys were fantastic - thank you so so much! Thank you again for the tote, saved my sister massively! 🫶🏻

I recently visited the Warrington branch for my daughters 18th Birthday. We were a large party of 28 and from the moment we walked in we were all made to feel very welcome, everything was set out perfectly for us and the staff were on hand to help. Throughout the visit the staff were amazing, could not do enough for us and made a fuss over my daughter for her birthday.
The staff made sure we had drinks when we needed the, the menus were available and they were always close to offer assistance when we needed it.
The food order was perfect with no mistakes which was brilliant as we were such a big party and the food its self was delicious. It came out very hot and well presented.
The plates were taken away as soon as everyone had finished and then they brought the cake over so we could sing happy birthday.
Everyone if us in the party had a great time especially my daughter all thanks to the amazing staff at ASK Warrington. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a delicious meal with a perfect service. Thankyou Team at ASK Warrington we will be back.

Had a meal before 02 show , 4 hours later was violently ill on boat and then at London bridge station, hadn't eaten anything else so could only have been the chicken

Absolutely terrible and disappointing. The food we ordered was delivered freezing cold. Was not Uber's fault either. Found out on the slip that it had been made almost 2 hours before the driver came to pick it up. No restaurant should send cold food out! Made fr a very disappointing Valentine's Day. Will be chasing up a refund.

I booked a table 2 weeks ago for this date for my birthday and they had given the table away when we arrived. Then our cocktails came without prosecco, service was really slow and they had run out of tiramsu by 2pm on a Saturday, what italian runs out of tiramsu?
So we skipped dessert . Overall felt like a fast food cafe but dishes were not fast. Ask at lakeside Thurrock

I was most impressed with the service and food.
The waitress was very friendly and helpful. My friend and I were availing ourselves of the “Perks” and a note had been made on the booking about our requirements.
My friend and I had not seen each other for a while and had a lot to catch up with. We stayed a long time, but there was no pressure to leave.
It was a thoroughly positive experience in all respects.

Dreadful lasagne that was burnt and half stuck to the plate. Impossible to justify at £18 for this rubbish

Very disappointed after today’s (26/12/25) visit in Warrington… if we’d bought a microwave meal from the co-op it would have been tastier.. we ordered at the table, the waitress was very friendly, though extremely quiet, the food quality wasn’t great, definitely not freshly prepped and cooked, though I’m told they aren’t anyway …just average food at best… I love a carbonara, I would not recommend it, pretty tasteless, I ordered lasagna, which my son finished… after his disappointing carbonara, that wasn’t bad to be honest! But we won’t be back there again .. sorry but not impressed..

Food was absolutely awful so dry an plain

Today at 16:44 I order a pizza for delivery using Just Eat. It was canceled at 18:51 without any kind of explanation leaving me and my husband hungry and angry on Friday evening. They will never ever see any order from my family and friends. Please, don't bother yourself booking with them for delivery. They can cancel your order at anytime! Highly not recommended!

It's cheap and cheerful food. They offer some great deals through there perks scheme. Decent sized portions. Menu could do with a bit of a shake up though, been the same for agggeees!

When we walked into the Ask italian in Strartford upon avon, there was time available on the website we got told very rudely its booking only.
So we checked the website and booked a timeslot, got it all confirmed, then went back in was again to be told this time you can't book on the same day??
We noticed tables were available but the host wasn't interested in what we thought or other people. We had no apology or anything. Glad to say we wont be going back again. The lady host needs trainng in being polite and friendly.

Went to the Ipswich restaurant for lunch. Our server Rob was excellent, super friendly & funny. The food was delicious & we didn't have to wait too long. We were also given a sample of their fresh lemonade, which was lovely

When we arrived at the restaurant in Newcastle, we were completely ignored and made to wait to be seated whilst being stared at multiple times and clearly mumbling between themselves. When we were finally seen to, it felt as though we were being rushed in, despite the restaurant being almost empty. The same waitress then gave us the menus and we asked for some tap water. We asked for the set menu for their 3 course meal but the whole time something with the atmosphere felt off. I even had the same feeling a few days prior and I wish I trusted that feeling before going there. She was then constantly glancing despite asking us if we would like a couple of minutes to read the menu and make a selection. I wouldn't have been as bothered if it had been busy, but we went when it was near empty. It felt like we were being rushed from the very moment we were seated. To save the embarrassment we didn't touch any of the drinks (including the complimentary shots of some pink stuff) which we weren't informed what it was and it was our first experience of the franchise. I decided to tell them we had a family emergency and we promptly left. Never again will I step foot in one of their restaurants. It was genuinely the worst experience we have ever had, and we didn't even get to the point of ordering any food or proper drinks. I couldn't honestly recommend going there at all.

Went to Ask Italian at Merry Hill at 13.20, there were at least 6 tables empty, but when we asked for a table for 2, we were told there were no tables available. When I pointed out the empty tables, we were told they were reserved. I asked if the 4 booths were reserved as well, then the excuse was staff were on their lunch breaks. I asked did the customers already sat were they being served and as it’s a busy time - lunch, then why aren’t staff breaks staggered and the answer is they have to have a break. So I wouldn’t recommend this place as the lack of service is appalling. Also I felt we were judged as we walked in and as a gay couple we were not wanted.

My sons and I visited Ask Italia in Malvern.

As my one son was surprising my other son with a visit last minute it was all very hush hush!

Alicia could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Nothing was a problem and the food was great.

Having kind staff is everything and Alicia was up there with the best.
