This is my first time opening a Business account and I decided to go with Azlo. Great decision. The entire team was very helpful, informative, polite and constantly went out of there way to assist me. When I called the support team by phone, they were so helpful and gave me sound and proper direction. The unit who reviewed your application, I can't say enough good things about them. They were patient, well knowledgable, supportive, gave great direction, polite, and most of all made this a pleasurable experience. This is a very well trained and organized staff. As far as wires go (you may already know), we do support *incoming* wires. You can find more info on that at support.azlo.com if you're curious about accepting payments that way. While we don't offer outgoing wires, we do offer an Instant Transfer service to immediately move funds to your external debit cards. If you're looking to pay someone else quickly (outgoing funds), we also support lots of third-party tools like Xoom and Transferwise. Customer service phone number does not work and checks take over 10 days to get mailed to you
Their phone number doesn’t work and it’s been 10 days since I asked them to send a check and still haven’t received but they had no problem taking my money out of my account. I can’t get ahold of anyone to find out what’s going on. Horrible customer service.

No easy way to contact. Constant banking issues
No phone numbers, no way of getting in contact. I have my account linked with stripe and randomly my deposits will get rejected by stripe because my "account is frozen". Problem is azlo never notifies me that my account is frozen and I have no phone number or method of contacting azlo in a timely manner.

Rejected because of critical survey response
Submitted application on Monday, with all necessary documents including federal EIN. Crickets. Not a single email after the initial receipt. Friday I logged in again, looked for some sort of contact info, found none (which is super sketchy), and was prompted by the website to take a "survey" to which I responded it was sketchy not to give a solid estimate of application turnaround or a way of contacting them about the application. Immediately after submitting the survey, I received an email saying "we are reviewing your application." A couple hours later, application rejected. Due to my "confidential" survey responses? Or a coincidence? Besides complaining here, I'm filing a complaint with the banking regulator.

Hi Michael, I'm sorry you ran into these issues with communication during the application process. Our system is set up to immediately send an email once an application is submitted. We also provide contact details for our Customer Support team on our website.
We aren't running any surveys on our site, but you may receive a prompt to offer a rating if you've spoken with our Customer Success team. I can assure that this prompt would in no way affect your application decisioning (nor would any other survey should we run one at any point).
We hope that all of this information is readily available throughout the process but if you experienced any glitch or issue that would lead you to believe otherwise, we'd love the chance to be able to address it.
Those communication issues aside, I'm sorry that we weren't able to ultimately approve your application. This can occur for a number of reasons (again, this decision is based on the application materials you submitted securely). We can't speculate to those details here but I'm sorry that we aren't able to support your business at this time.
And while we can't comment further on your application, if you'd like to chat with us about any technical roadblocks you experienced that caused communication issues, please send us a note at support@azlo.com. ^JW

Read the other reviews - the comments regarding discriminatory denials are accurate.
I'm an American citizen, with an ethnically identifiable last name (not listed here). I submitted an application, which was immediately denied, with no explanation. My business partner (who has a very traditional "white guy" name) submitted identical information for our business and was approved. That should have been our first clue that these guys were sketchy.
We made a very minimal transfer, just to open the account. Weeks after approval, we still had not received any debit cards, etc - and I called to complain. Immediately after complaining, we received a notice of cancellation of our account. No explanation. No response was received to our inquiries except "we can't provide details on denial".
Also - the initial deposit we made was not returned to us. Luckily it was just a small amount - and far smaller price to pay than potential damage to business from their unprofessional and unscrupulous practices.

Interesting that we were denied, supposedly in accordance with your adherence to "regulations", as we were able to obtain business accounts with both a federally-certified credit union and a well-known legacy bank using the exact same documentation.
Well worth it to pay the maintenance fees, folks - this bank just isn't worth it.

One additional note—of course, it's our standard practice to return your funds when an account is closed. Normally this is in the form of a mailed check. Azlo's support team has come through for me. We've been having trouble getting me my card. They automatically upgraded the shipping so that I can get it in 2 days instead of having me wait another 2 weeks. They have also kept me in the loop the entire time. Thanks Lucy & the Azlo support team.

Do not risk and give them your money. They are unscrupulous clowns and will cause you alot of pain and frustration.
As a small business owner I opened an account with them attracted by the 0 fees + initial deposit.
Given the Covid pandemic business was slow.
They abruptly sent a notification that they intended to close my account and subsequently closed it.
I had some funds in the account and I contacted customer care to have them sent to my current address. It's been over a month and I haven't received them. They even failed to give me a tracking number.
Honestly don't waste time with such a small startup bank especially on a crucial matter like finances which are key in life. It's not worth it. I eventually opted for one of the much larger established banks. There is a reason why these more reputable banks have survived for decades / millenniums - they have their act together. Don't waste time with these clowns.
