A professional welcome, the offer of coffee added to this. Staff appeared friendly but maintained the professional demeanour. The eye examination was comfortable as I was put at ease and each step was explained.

The optometrist was thorough, reassuring and professional and gave me options for the lenses that would provide most benefit.

I had to have a further eye test just as a belt and braces as my wife was concerned that I continuing to work full time in Retirement might be vulnerable if an optic prob came up.
I went back to Bayfields Henleaze having been successfully tested a year ago & Ana their Optometrist was so great.
On this occasion it was Henleaze I’d an appointment with Saleha J. yet another thoroughly solicitous delightful professional Optometrist.I felt prioritised possibly even privileged to be in the care of Saleha ( and support ) and at every turn was treated with kid gloves.
I can’t commend Saleha ( and in turn Bayfields ) anywhere near highly enough & suggest your first port of call is 45 Henleaze Rd

Everything was explained throughly and carefully. I felt totally relaxed and not in the least bit rushed during my eye examination. It was actually an enjoyable experience.

On entering the clinic the receptionist was most polite. He checked my appointment, sat me down, and offered me a drink. The optician arrived on time and introduced herself. She then walked me to the surgery talking to me all the way. She was most pleasant and friendly so by the time I sat down to be examined I was well at ease and ready for my tests. She told me the history of my eyes and explained what she was going to do. As one might expect, she was very good at giving me clear instructions as to what I needed to do. I felt no pressure or awkwardness during any of the tests. The Clinical procedure that I would need was fully explained to me. I was most satisfied. I could not find anything to grumble about.
