Was mildly apprehensive as I always check Trustpilot reviews before purchasing from a new site, but the official Wine & Spirit Appointments lended a degree of reassurance. But they were fine. Takes a couple of days to ship but arrived next day.
The website is well structured and responsive, too. Just would like the threshold for free delivery to be a little lower; £200 is on the high end. Excellent range of in-stock wines, however I'd to see an extension of your Absinthe collection. Need to fix filters on the Spirits section - red or white don't really apply! Don't expect much in the way of discounts, they're premium but the prices are fair.

I would be very reluctant to deal with this company again. I have requested a refund for a few weeks (the company has my order in their warehouse and so hard to understand the delay) and despite calling multiple times, I am continually told that they need to check internally and then no one ever calls back or sends an email as promised.

I have been visiting Berry Bros and Rudd since I was 19 over 40 years ago and I can honestly say their customer service is second to none. From a penniless student until now, you are treated with such kindness, courtesy and patience. I spoke to Mandy on the phone this morning and she was utterly professional and delightful. I came looking for Richebourg wine, as a 22 year old and saw it was hundreds of pounds ( the boy who gave it to us at a local restaurant was probably sacked), but I was still treated as if I would buy a whole case! Bravo Berry Bros and Rudd. I will be back for the Pinot Noir which was recommended to me. Blessings to you all and thank you. Fliss G

I asked many times for my data to be deleted.
but every now and then it's passed to another area of the company to try and reactivate it by bombarding me with offers.
if you join BBR you join for life, you can never get rid of them.

sorry I don't have reference number, because this issue is not about an order its about them keeping my data when I request it to be deleted under the data protection law.
I was a customer for over 10yrs. had a big disagreement so I removed my wine in 2020 then asked for my data to be deleted, they kept sending me offers. then it stopped for about a year now they are sending me again.
they clearly will never delete my data, and are sharing it between different departments.
so because I don't have a reference number you are threatening to take my review down. where's the free speech. this is big corporations deciding what review they want to delete.
now it's hard to believe that trust pilot has any integrity with all the other reviews.

Unfailingly polite and helpful. The best packaging of any wine company I deal with. The only reason not 5 stars, is their tendency to sell in bond rather than bottled. Every wine I have bought from them has been excellent.

Bad Service.
Disappointed with the service here. Ordered a dozen bottles of wine as a gift. The initial delivery took an age (DHL delayed for several days) and arrived incomplete. Customer service was an unattended inbox which did not reply for 4 days or so. The second delivery (with items missing from the first) was also delayed again by DHL and arrived today, again with items missing. I await a refund for the missing items. I am not sure if this is representative of their normal service but I'm not convinced I would try again to find out!
The shop is truly marvellous, offering impeccable service and top quality. They even offer free tastings of their exquisite Perspective Series blends. I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive wine collection, as I was initially familiar with BBr for its whisky offerings. Their wine selection is equally impressive and the whisky range is simply stunning!

I was looking to stock up for a dinner party, and getting bored of the selection in my local supermarket. A friend pointed me to this website, having been a member of their cellar club for years. I went down a few rabbit holes as there is lots of interesting stuff on their site, but I found what I wanted easily. Delivered when they said they would, great quality for the price and my guests loved trying some new bottles. Will be back!

Tried en-premier for first time.
I took their wine advisers advice on two cases. Which turned out to be woeful choices. In a year they lost 25% of value per bottle
I picked up one case (x6 ) leaving one behind. Which turned out to be Very expensive mistake with their snakey costs in the small print. What appeared to be £15 bottle of wine has cost just shy of £30 with storage and tax added.

New to BBR and first order was a small one to check it out. Delivery looked like it was going ok, countdown all day, 5 hrs...4hrs...3hrs...then cancelled!! Rang to check and 'van had broken down'. Order cancelled as expensive wine doesn't do rattling around in vans for too long. Refunded quickly with part vouchers sent promptly. Thought 'shall I risk it again to use vouchers?' why not? A smaller order but still expensive wines. Delivery looked like it was going ok.......well you know the rest. All day 5hrs...4hrs....3hrs...even down to 1 hr away.... then cancelled. Rang next morning to cancel again still waiting refund. Never again!

Service was a dream experience! As soon as I walked in I was approached by a gentleman who stopped what he was doing to ask if I needed any help. Emma was very kind and attentive as well! I was just browsing, the amount of high quality own brand products they have is exceptional, having bought from them for more then a few years now. Would always recommend their own brand champagne. If you also want something a bit more special but it isn't on show, also ask at the counter as they may have what your looking for!

Surprised by the bad reviews on here. Have always had a great experience with them. Good selection and on time and reliable delivery.
I ordered a gift voucher that hadn't arrived 10 days after it had been dispatched. I contacted them and they cancelled it and sent a replacement. This also didn't arrive so I cancelled the order and requested a refund. N.B. I have ordered similar items in the past with no problem so my correct address is in their system.
I would have given less than 3 stars but for their professional and prompt action re: my refund.
Cellar Plan customer for a number of years and have used BBX extensively. Most of the times it’s been great and when it hasn’t been they’ve been quick to put it right, highly recommended
As I was searching for a specific bottle of champagne for a 21st birthday, I emailed the customer service team prior to purchase, to check that the bottle came with a branded box. I was interested in 2 different makes from the year and was advised that both came with their branded box. I placed my purchase based upon this information, but when delivery was made, I opened the package to find no branded box! I called customer services and advised them that a mistake had been made, as I’d received an email confirming the bottle would be with a box and after being put on hold, the call handler came back to say that the warehouse send out bottles without the branded box, as it’s safer for delivery and the box would no longer be available. Looking at the packaging and how the bottle arrived versus the branded box (I’ve seen elsewhere) I find that explanation totally unbelievable. I asked them to check if another box was available but nothing was and the only item offered was a cardboard one if I wanted it! I barely received an apology for the error and in light of the fact I’d already mentioned it was a 21st birthday present, I would have expected them to offer some form of compensation for the error….but no, I had to push to get something off of the price, in order for me to try and find a branded box elsewhere to purchase. This was a special purchase and it’s left me feeling extremely disappointed with this company & their customer service.
