We had a fantastic experience in 2018 and back to Bennison Brown for our new mortgage again. Michael (Mortgage advisor) has done a such a brilliant job, we are again so happy as last time. No hassle and problems, everything went well.

All responses are super quick and easy to approach when you need.

I am highly recommend Bennison Brown and will use their service again in future.

We cannot express how professional and committed the company is to providing clients with excellent service. Chris Billingham (our mortgage advisor) really went above and beyond to provide a fantastic service to us throughout the process - both before and after the mortgage offer. Chris was fantastically supportive to us and was able to give us highly useful advice and responded to all of our (many!) questions. Chris was available to discuss our case on the phone and by email and was highly invested in our application, as was Grace Miles (our mortgage case manager). Chris and Grace made the process so much easier for us and consistently made us feel at ease, even when Covid-19 was causing many issues with the property market and mortgages in general! My partner is self-employed and they were able to confidently support us and advise us on this in terms of the mortgage also. We are so very grateful for everything they have done to support us and help us get to where we are now. We would highly recommend Bennison Brown to anyone looking for professional advice with first rate customer service. You won’t regret it!

I had an appointment with a T lombo on 24 April 2020 it when we’ll until I explained my circumstances I felt his manner changed towards me in a negative way he said he would get back to me next week after he had done research but called me shortly after the appointment and said we can’t assist you.
I found him to be discourteous and truculent.

Dealt with Susan Jarrett. Extremely responsive and professional. Took all the leg work out of our remortgage for us and we felt very well looked after throughout our dealings with the company. All went through smoothly. Thank you, Susan!

I'll try to keep my review brief. I initially contacted the mortgage advisor recommended by my estate agents but it took them a very long time to reply and when they finally managed to give me a call back, it was only to be told that they will call me back in the afternoon, which never happened. So I thought “I'm going to have to trust a stranger to help me with what is essentially going to be the next few decades of my life, so I have to really think my choices through very carefully.”

Luckily for me, I chose Bennison Brown. My broker was Andrew Connor, and there were other members of the team who helped me, like Laura Bryan and Clare Mason. I would however like to highlight and thank Amanda Thatcher who worked on my case and went above and beyond.

It was initially very daunting for me, especially as I get anxious talking to people. Buying a house, you make lots of phone calls, but Bennison Brown always made me feel like they were accessible and they really listened. I genuinely felt like I was a person and not simply just a case number. The team, Amanda most of all, always kept me updated, and always was on top of things. Granted, there were a few hiccups along the journey as a whole, but I was so happy I was in the very capable hands of these professionals.

I told the team this but I will say it again, 5 stars is not enough for the services they provide.

We approached Michael Bennison and Susan Jarrett @ Bennison Brown Mortgages a few months ago, just before the COVID-19 lockdown, after finding the level of services provided by one of the main market players/competitors unacceptable. We were looking for a competitive mortgage to acquire our new family home in Surrey, while converting the mortgage on our existing London flat into a buy-to-let. Our circumstances were somewhat unusual, as our income is not paid in sterling and we were seeking to borrow a substantial amount through a part repayment/part interest-only mortgage. Michael and Susan worked tirelessly in order to secure us a very good offer from a High Street Bank, after we were turned by down by our preferred lender. They were both extremely responsive and proactive during the whole process - arguing our case every step of the way and keeping us informed about the progress of the applications - under difficult circumstances and at a time of unprecedented market uncertainty. We could not recommend Bennison Brown, Michael and Susan highly enough. As a matter of fact, we are currently in the process of reorganizing our life insurance covers with the assistance of Bennison Brown and could not think of a better team to advise us on this matter and help us protect our interests.
