I just paid and I tried to book class and it says that there 2 accounts associated to my email address. No person to talk, people at there gym just say go to the tablet that is at the reception. Who to talk to? Im loosing money.

Good facilities, friendly staff, cost more than doubled for a single visit in last 6 months or so
Facilities in Dorking still being refurbished - prices have gone up (almost double for a single visit - I did raise this formally however no full response) and opening hours have reduced - understand it’s a business, however Better should remember that the sports centre is a public service for all…

Too much dependancy on electronic communications. Telephone contact is difficult with messages left not being passed on. Priority should be given on a more personal basis like phone.

The gym itself is nice
The gym itself is nice, but the weight area is pretty small it gets rather crowded specially mid afternoon when the youngest from school come in, sit on the equipment using they phones, it becomes very frustrating

I see potential in the gym with a couple changes
I recently changed gyms, hearing that my local better had been recently renovated so i thought i would give it a try!
For the most part it seems reasonable but i will list couple improvments i think would benefit everyone:
- More Sanitising wipes + Signs to say wipe equipment after use (i noticed most customers dont do this and some machines looked a little grimey)
- At least one smith machine (there 2 free weight bench press and 2 squat racks. These are great but some exercises need more stability at higher weight; a smith machine provides this)
- Some elastic resistance bands (These are essential for warming up and activating muscles before lifting, minimising the chance of injury)
I try and use the gym 6 days a week and will continue to stay here! These are just some suggestions on potential future improvments
