Extremely disappointed at Bon Marche so…

Extremely disappointed at Bon Marche so called customer care. I've been waiting since February 6th for my refund for an an item that went missing in the post and then was out of stock,, and in spite of numerous emails and a phone call, I still haven't received it. Its a mere £21....not a kings ransom but means a lot to an elderly pensioner like me! I'll never order online again.

Lost parcel…

I had a problem with a return that got lost via Evri. After contacting them and my local parcel shop I contacted Bonmarche via their chat page. Brandon was very helpful and resolved my problem immediately. Great customer service from him.

Went into the Widnes store earlier today. Great choice of clothing at reasonable prices. Two members of staff were really cheerful and helpful.

After last order shambles did say I…

After last order shambles did say I would never use again. However, while in store complaining re last order noticed nice pair of trousers. Didn’t have my size so ordered 2 different colours for click and collect. Ordered 25/3/2006 still not received today 21/04/2006. Rang customer services couldn’t tell me where order was. Getting a refund, can’t wait to see how long that takes. REALLY NEVER AGAIN.

Poor customer service

Had a concern and contacted 'Brandon' on the app. Very unhelpful and rather rude responses. Shame as the actual shop staff are very nice. Won't be using Bon Marche in future.

I have had problems with my app and…

I have had problems with my app and online shopping. I have contacted them by phone, and email probably 7 times . I have never had such appalling Customer Service, by any company. Normally when you have a problem, the company do their best to help and solve your problem. Not Bonmarche I am a very disappointed ex customer

Today I went into Bon Marche at Hillier's garden centre Cheddar, Somerset,
A lady called Rachel served me, what a treat ! Rachel's customer service was absolutely outstanding, she served me with a lovely smile and was so kind and helpful and very patient!
I can promise you that I most certainly shop in this shop again!

Costly returns if you pay with PayPal

Ordered some clothes online, secure in the knowledge that I could return clothes to store if they were not satisfactory. Or so I thought. Apparently because I paid with PayPal, I am not eligible to return the clothes via the store and have had to pay £10 postage to return. I have never encountered this before and use PayPal often.
I ended up returning almost all the order as the clothes were poorly made and there was no consistency in size - some way too big and others too tight. Really disappointed with the whole experience. People should be advised at checkout that they will not be able to return items to store if they pay with PayPal. I used it for speed but would have used my card instead if I had been aware. This feels like selling under false pretences. Avoid this company or shop in store if you must.

I looked up Bonmarche for the first time when a voucher seemed to offer a good deal. But most items are priced just slightly under the amount you'd have to spend. It didn't matter. I chuckled at the middle aged clothes, and closed the page!

Bon marche return

I returned an item to Bonmarche which they received on the 19th March but still no refund to my PayPal account, despite ringing them three times and getting nowhere, why does it take them so long to give you back your money? They don't take three weeks to take it from your account when buying anything. When I have taken things back to the store there was never a problem with refunds it just seems to be when PayPal is involved you cannot return things to the store - lesson learnt

Don’t return anything by post

They sent size 14 in a size 16 packet. Their mistake, had to wait for package to be verified as wrong size in packet. Sent back on Feb 2nd at my cost as don’t do pre paid labels . Refund given into account but told postage refunded by cheque. After 38 emails today 10th APRIL and no sign of a cheque they finally refunded £5.75 to my account!!!! Why they couldn’t do that in first place. They said cheques take 28 days in post as different to ordinary post. Must think I’m stupid , worst service than any other retailer DONT RETURN ANYTHING BY POST

Totally unacceptable refund procedure.

Returned an item on 3rd March, thru Evri. Evri tracking showed item delivered to Bonmarché on 4th March. Waited the required 14 days for a refund which was not received. Started chasing up the refund, initially using the online contact form. No response to that. Subsequently tried Webchat at least 4 times, was told a refund had been processed and I would need to chase up with PayPal. Requested an ARN reference so I could do this, but although promised several times on Webchat and also twice on the phone, this reference number has never been received. Last contact with Bonmarche was Friday 3rd April. Still waiting.

Useless customer service never answer…

Useless customer service never answer calls but I guess that's what you get when they all work from home. Their on line chat is does not work during the day but better in the evening . I have given up hope of receiving my parcel, first one sent back by Evri with out even trying to deliver. All I want is my tracking number why is it so hard . Bon Marche had excellent customer service when it was n a call centre!

Very disappointed

I bought online via Klarna and because I had used Klarna I was not allowed a free return instore. I was made to pay nearly £6 to return to their warehouse. After waiting 14 days and no refund, I had to chase them via email for my refund which is being processed now. If I had not contacted them would this company just keep my money? Not good enough and think you need to rethink your returns method/customer service to survive. I for one will not be back.
