Good For The Price
I like renting books from here. I had rented for about 2 semesters now. It is so much cheaper than buying or renting books that you will never use again from your college. I rented a book for $15 dollars for the whole semester and the book actually cost $115. It took a little while for them to get here so order early. Overall GREAT.

Over paid for shipping, which was not next day.
I found the customer service to be impersonal. I paid $19.99 to receive next day shipping, however Bookrenter does not really offer next day shipping. I had to wait 1 or 2 processing days. I placed my order July 1st to receive July 2nd, received I received my books July 5th.

So far, so good
I just received my first textbook rental. It was priced well at $15.80 for a 90 day rental. My class is only 8 weeks and I did not want to pay $157 for the textbook. I received the book 6 days after I ordered it. The book is in great condition. The fine print said I could highlight in it, as long as it wasn't excessive. That surprised me. I have yet to return a textbook, but it seems easy enough. I saved the box they shipped it to me in and will print a label off their site when the time comes. So far this has been a great experience and I would recommend.

1 day shipping = 5 days
Waste of money to pay for 1 day shipping. Bookrenter apparently has a 1-2 day processing time allowance and no delivery estimator like other sites.

Book was fine, shipping not so...
Paid $9.99 extra for expedited shipping. With a weekend and 4th of July in between, it arrived at about the same time, the regular free shipping would have arrived. This was a waste of money.
