Purchased a brand new bow flex max trainer M9, in 2021. The machine sat vacant for over a year due to a car accident my wife had., so it has roughly 4 years of use. First year we owned it. The screen went out. Then the servo failed. Both were replaced under warranty, but this past week the servo has failed AGAIN. Bowflex went out of business, Johnson health purchased them. I purchased an extended 5 year warranty through Bowflex before the sale of the company. Now I’m being told through Johnson health that all warranty’s were voided after the sale! WHAT! So now I have a $2000+ machine that is basically a boat anchor!!! What BULLSHIT! There’s ZERO consumer protection in this country! Bowflex is over priced JUNK! NEVER AGAIN!
Awful ordering process and dud discount code
I signed up for email marketing to get a $50 off $999 and the code Welcome50 did not work on my order - 15391955.
Discover Card is offered as an option on your payment drop down menu, but 2 different Discover cards were unable to be verified, but it took my MasterCard just fine.
I received a notification e-mail that my first attempt to pay did not go through, but never got a confirmation e-mail that my next attempt to pay DID go through.
The ordering process was awful.

T6 treadmill ordered
Made the order process easy and straightforward. I had a few questions regarding the difference between models of treadmills and they were answered quickly and offered helpful advice.

I have been trying to make a return for two weeks. They keep saying someone will call me. Now it is outside of the 30 day return window. They say they will honor it, but I am skeptical since it is so difficult to make this return happen. I set up a payment plan and do not want to keep making payments on something that is literally still in the box and not being used!!!

I bought select tech dumbbells years ago. Then I get a recall notice. So what did I get for giving them back to BowFlex? $20! I paid over $600 and I get $20 on a product they say is unsafe. How about getting a new set? Not a business I will be using ever again! You have to treat people better to get my business.

Really appreciate how you handled the adjustable dumbbell recall and helped me get replacements! Thanks to this I also ordered an adjustable weight bench as well.
Problems with my order
The website was fine. My issue is that I got an email telling me there was a problem with my order. I called the number in the email and, since it was the weekend, they couldn’t even tell me what the issue was. Now I am being told I have to wait for 1-2 business for a sales team associate that can actually help me with my order. So, the website get 5 starts actually getting my order 1 or 2 stars.

I was a little disappointed that I was expecting to Pay $45 per month as listed, but after the credit check, it came back with $144 per month, with no way to change it. And that estimate was before added shipping and taxes. My credit is in the 775 range, so I should have been provided the payment plan that was offered. I went ahead and financed it on my own through 0% over 20 months, so the credit check was a waste of time and frustrating. Other than that, I felt I made a good purchase and am looking forward to receiving the product.

I recently purchased the Bowflex Max Trainer M6, and unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing.
I specifically chose this model because I wanted a simple, reliable machine without a complicated smart screen. I’ve owned an elliptical in the past that lasted over 15 years without issues, so I did my research and trusted Bowflex to deliver something comparable.
The machine worked fine the first time I used it. But on the second use, I was prompted to run a system update—which was surprising for such a basic, non-smart display. The update took a long time and interrupted my workout. Even worse, the same update prompt appeared again the next time I tried to use it. Having to deal with updates every time I want to work out is incredibly frustrating and defeats the purpose of buying a simple machine.
To make matters worse, customer service was a headache. I had to jump through hoops just to get support—digging up hard-to-find serial numbers and order details while standing in my basement. Once I finally got through that process, the “solution” was to submit a ticket and wait up to 12 business days for a response. That’s nearly three weeks for an issue that started immediately after purchase—completely unacceptable.
At this point, I’ve lost confidence in both the product and the company. For the price, I expected reliability and decent customer support, and I got neither.
I would not recommend this machine based on my experience.

I have been trying to order online for days and have ben unable to get support from Customer Service although they really tried hard to help with my online purchase. I was so frustrated with the offer charging while I tried to use the option of zero percent financing. I paid $50 more for the M6 and $24 more for the kettlebell. So upset and found out the site has had problems for five days!🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
