I dealt in the main with Paul Wallace to sell a property and right from the start he understood it was an emotional and sensitive situation and I never felt rushed or pressured. He made a difficult situation as easy as it could be and was always friendly, informative, clear, approachable and professional in all our dealings. He was always on hand to answer questions and make sure the sale went through as smoothly as possible. Whenever I had to contact the office all the staff I spoke to were willing to help, I would not hesitate to recommend this Estate Agent for selling a property.

Mike offered an excellent service. Efficient and timely responses. Always available and facilitated discussions between buyer and seller. Made the process so much easier.

Mike Driver was always available to make suggestions, give advice and handle matters, either by email or on the phone.
I would recommend.

As a FTB and being in a very strong position, I placed an offer on a property that I had recently viewed. I have dealt with Sherry and Mike. They were extremely unresponsive to emails as well as calls. Neither did they answer questions related to the property via email and I had called on multiple occasions!
When I eventually got hold of Mike I was told the vendor wouldn’t accept an offer below a certain price (which was still within my budget) so I was still interested and AGAIN no replies to my questions for days! After calling once again days later, the manager picked up and I was told that the price the vendor will accept has now gone up again (still within my budget!)! At this point, however, I completely lost interest..not in the property BUT just the way I was being treated!! I have highlighted the poor customer service and communication!! This is by far the worst Estate Agent I have come across and I have dealt with a lot of them!!
Fully understand circumstances and offers can swiftly change, however this is NOT how you treat potential buyers!
And when I mentioned ‘review‘, I had suddenly received a voice message from Mike (despite it being his day off!) a few hours later.
It should not take ‘writing a review’ to treat someone with respect!!

Stay away as they are time wasters!!

Update: I had another voice message from Mike this morning stating answers have now been provided by the vendor - funny how quick things can change in the span of 24hrs after a complaint! Suddenly all the answers are have been provided - Absolutely ridiculous! Taking ownership and accountability for your poor service would just do!

*As mentioned clearly during the call yesterday, the increased offer was done verbally during the call I initiated (as usual) with Mike when asked if this is fine and I answered YES! So to now highlight, there was no email is simply ridiculous!
Not ONCE have I been contacted by you (unless I called) up until yesterday post the complaint and suddenly all the answers appeared!
This is a VERY JUSTIFIED and TRUTHFUL review of how I was treated! And as I mentioned yesterday, I can only write reviews based on MY experience and looking at other reviews, it does not seem like I was the only one! I prefer to work with EAs that understand the core value of customer service which clearly was not provided by you!

Having decided to sell my house in Goodmayes, Essex I was recommended Brian Thomas Estate Agents by friends and I am pleased to say that the service I received from the company was excellent. From the first meeting that I had with Paul Wallace, the agent whom I dealt with, the whole journey was most satisfactory. The one issue, that was out of his control, was waiting for responses from potential buyers and other people involved in the process. Whenever I spoke to other members of staff I was always dealt with in a very efficient manner. The service I received was very professional which made me feel very reassured. Decided to use this company for the sale of my Father's house as they were willing to come out to do a valuation during the first lockdown (in a covid secure manner) and were local. When we had a property to sell and we hadn’t heard of Brian Thomas Estate Agents,how wrong were we. The House was put on the market in September 2020 and was sold and completed by February 2021 fabulous.The staff at the Chadwell Heath branch are always polite and knowledgeable when ever I called and as for Mike Driver who was handling the sale for me is very professional, courteous and very punctual when ever there were viewings at the property. In my opinion if I was to recommend an Estate Agent to the family or friends we would choose BTEA.

We had a tricky buyer that hadn't instructed an estate agents, but Mike took it on, got us through the process and was always available to advise and work with our new build development team to get us Exchanged and completed.
