Accurate product photos and respectful customer service should be the minimum, not the exception.

I ordered a piece from Canvas Castle expecting it to match the photo on their website, but what I received looked significantly different in color and overall appearance. When I contacted customer service, I was met with dismissive replies and zero willingness to help—no exchange, no return, not even acknowledgment that the product didn’t match their own listing; in fact, they said I was wrong. Their tone was rude and unprofessional throughout the process. This company does not stand behind its products or value its customers. I’m sharing this so others can make an informed decision before ordering.

Regardless of this we have offered to send you another canvas in its place free of charge, we are still awaiting your reply

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE! THEY INTENTIONALLY MISLEAD CUSTOMERS. THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and EXTREMELY RUDE. Genuinely the worst retail experience I have ever had. There needs to be a negative star option.

Your reply to this review is not at all truthful. You have not offered to send the frames. You have maliciously threatened me, blatantly lied saying I am racist, and posted a horrible review on my business page that you are actively using to try to coerce me into removing my review.

I just wanna say their email marketing is exceptional because I haven’t bought yet but I plan to… It’s good enough to have brought me over here to leave this review and I haven’t even had a full on experience yet so that’s gotta say something!

My favorite thing about canva castle is that it publishes thought provoking bold art!

There have been so many interesting conversations stimulated from my guests simply observing the art and then...BOOM...perspectives start to flow!

Do not order from this company

Do not order from this company. Ordered a large canvas and it arrived faulty. They are now refusing to sent replacement or offer refund.
Very poor customer service-assistant rude and unhelpful.

To add:-posting a reply disclosing my home address is a violation of data protection and this will be reported.
To clarify-I have sent pictures of faulty items.
Once again this company is showing how poor their service is.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!

**Key Problems:**

**Damaged & Substandard Product**
* The painting arrived damaged.
* Colours and quality do not match what was advertised.

**Refusal to Refund**

* The company refuses to cover return postage.
* Refunds are denied.
* They insist I select a replacement of the same size—even when no suitable option exists.

**Conditional Service & Coercion**

* They demanded I delete or alter my public review to get a resolution.
* This is unacceptable and coercive.

**Disrespectful Communication**

* Emails have been dismissive and sarcastic. For example:

I want to set the record straight regarding the company’s response to my review:

I have only left one review. Any other review, including the one dated 23rd January, is not from me. You can verify this with Trustpilot. It is unacceptable to attribute another customer’s complaint to me, and I request that my details not be used in relation to issues raised by someone else.

Additionally, the company’s response incorrectly states that I requested a larger print and frame. I have not requested a larger size. I explicitly asked for a smaller-sized, more cost-effective replacement than my original order.

I hope this clarifies the facts for anyone reading this review and highlights the importance of accurate representation in customer communications.

Order No. 57572 :
I ordered a painting from Canvas Castle and was very disappointed with both the product and the way my complaint was handled.

The painting arrived damaged and the colours were significantly different from the image advertised on their website. Overall, the quality was far below what was described.

I contacted customer service to request a return and full refund, which I feel was reasonable given the item was faulty. This was refused, and they also would not cover return postage. Instead, I was told to choose a replacement painting.

When I tried to select an alternative, the one I chose was slightly cheaper (even with the frame), and this was also refused. I was then told I must choose another painting of exactly the same size as the original. Unfortunately, they did not have any suitable artwork in that size, so I was left with no acceptable option.

I also asked for manager contact details and information about making a formal complaint, but I received no response. The email replies I did receive were vague and unprofessional.

Overall, I feel I made every effort to resolve this directly with the company, but they were unwilling to offer a fair solution despite sending a damaged and poor-quality product. I would not recommend purchasing from this company based on my experience.

Do not buy large horizontal prints from this company. The inner frame is to weak to support hanging, print bending in the middle. I sent several respectful emails asking for hanging recommendations. Responses were rude and disrespectful, blaming me.

Re company's reply - I am 100% certain I have the right business. I have an email trail to prove it. This is Canvas Castle's standard response to all complaints.
