Cars Iceland Reviews

Very smooth collect and drop-off experience. The car was in a very good condition. Quick to answer any inquiries.

The counter is within walking distance from the airport. The handling over process was simple efficient. The counter officer was helpful and friendly which made the taking over of cars very pleasant!

Super good! Thanks a lot

Very kind and supportive, quick drop off experience, good rental conditions. Recommended.

Thank you for all yours very accurate informations about my rent.
Wonderful welcome at your office, the agent gave me all the information I needed.
The car was perfect with around 15000 Km, very clean and everything was operative.
Maybe you could give a quick reference manual, it should be nice to use for the first time a car that you don’t know.
I hardly recommend your company without any reserve

Everything with Blue Car Rental was great: the company was easy to reach, the welcome was professional and friendly, and the car was in excellent condition and almost new. There was no waiting time, either when picking up or returning the car. No unnecessary charges were added, and there was none of that scammy business you sometimes get with rental companies (we've been there!).

If you want to explore Iceland without any worries, (and believe me, if you plan a round trip the last thing you want to worry about is your car rental) I can highly recommend them, even though they can be more expensive than some of the competitors.

Very reliable company, they respond to any queries in quick time. The car they provided was great and collection and drop off was very efficient too .

We had a great experience renting a Tesla Model 3 during our trip to Reykjavík. We picked up the car at the airport and returned it at the downtown office, and both the pickup and drop-off processes were quick and easy. The car was in excellent condition, and communication throughout the rental was clear and prompt. Highly recommend this company for a smooth and hassle-free rental experience!

Everything about the rental was easy. We picked up in Reykjavik and dropped off at the airport. Online check in made the pick up fast and simple. The car was exactly what we rented and it was a great choice for us. It was a nice ride and we had no issues. Drop off was just as easy as pick up and it was a short 5 min walk to the airport. I would rent from them again and would recommend them to friends.

The only thing that would have improved out experience would have been maps of the routes like the Golden Circle etc.

Clear renting conditions and easy and fast service for check in and check out.

Clear and easy to understand website with thoughtful perspectives on vehicles and insurance. Easy booking process. Helpful to pickup at airport and drop off in the city.

I highly recommend Cars Iceland! We rented a vehicle from them and everything went very well! The online booking system was easy to use. I had to contact them and they responded back very quickly, within an hour one time, and were friendly, helpful, and resolved my issue. The pickup was quick and easy and we had no issues with the vehicle, The drop off was also quick and easy. I will 100% rent from them the next time I’m in Iceland!

I booked my rental through Cars Iceland and had a very good experience overall.

It’s worth noting that they act as an intermediary, and the actual rental was handled by Blue Car Rental. Everything was clearly communicated in advance, so there were no surprises at pickup.

What really stood out was their customer support. Due to a flight change, I needed to extend my rental by one day, and they offered me a very fair price for the extension, which I really appreciated.

The whole process was smooth and hassle-free, and I would definitely consider booking through them again.

Everything went smoothly. We found the weather updates sent by "Blue" very important and valuable.
It is a good idea to encourage all customers visiting Iceland to have the Live Roads Situation app (Umferdin.is) on their phones. Even if we can find it by using the QR code found inside the car, we haven't been told so.
