Cars Iceland Reviews

Very good car rental, we got a deal for Blue Car Rental for a lower price. Cars Iceland handled the reservation, while we later got redirected to Blue Car Rental for all instructions. About that, we picked up the car directly at Keflavík airport. Took a while to figure out the pickup location, for anyone wondering it's a short walk outside the airport. Somehow the automated key pickup wouldn't unlock with the code, but we were able to get them at the counter. Same thing happened at key drop-off, delivering them in person worked much better. All in all, definitely a good experience, they even upgraded our car at no added cost!

Had a wonderful experience hiring our Kia during our Icelandic honeymoon adventure. I was very surprised, even when we had a not at fault accident the team were great, ensured we were fine and assisted with getting the necessary details. Initially I was nervous with the drop off but it was simple and straight forward. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent experience! Booking easy and collection was on point (a little out of the way for collection) in the town but the airport dropoff was super simple and impressive. Would recommend.

These guys have been amazing, easy communication, easy little changes that I have done of my booking before my trip.
Got refunded once with no problem. Booked again with no problem.

Auto in condizioni molto buone. Cortesia del personale

Everything about the car hire experience went well. The cost was according to the booking, not extras.
We had an issue with a parking fine and Cars Iceland was very helpful in sorting this out

Blue Car Rental comes fully insured so there is no hassle when picking up or dropping off. Our SUV had full time 4WD, ice tires with metal spikes, heated seats, and plenty of cargo space. They send you the link to safetravel.is so that you can check road conditions. This came in very handy as we found our destination was red flagged on Saturday, so, we postponed until Sunday (always have a backup plan). We saw a lot of FWD rental cars spun off the road and waiting to be towed out along the Golden Circle and I was glad we chose Blue Car Rental who provided us with a capable, safe, and fuel efficient vehicle.

Easy on-line booking, short wait time, courteous & efficient customer service, clean & reliable vehicle, convenient pick-up & return, no hidden fees.
Iceland was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! Will definitely return & highly recommend CarsIceland for future visits!

Friendly and helpful pick up and drop off. They were polite when I missed my drop off date and accommodated as best they could.

Everything was smooth and easy! Good customer service!

Car was in excellent condition. Pick up and drop of the car was seamless and convenient.

It was easy to complete the rental. I like that I was able to pick up the car in Reykjavik and drop off at the airport. The price of the rental was very competitive as I compared with other rental companies in the area.

It was our first trip to Iceland and I found good reviews for Cars Iceland so I booked them online.
Absolutely everything about our experience was good. The booking and the check-in process, the price, the car (cleanliness and quality) and the return process. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company, we had an excellent experience.

Very nice staff on site, but we found out that the car we selected, advertised as "suitable for F-roads", was not actually suitable for ALL types of F-roads, we had to take the risk... I think this should be better specified on the website. In any case, the staff was very friendly and helpful to clarify all details.

Tutto perfetto dal self check in all auto in perfette condizioni! Check out rapidissimo !

During the 2nd day of my driving, I saw a pressure indicator light lit on the dashboard.
As I have never drove in a cold weather country, I am not aware of the indicator being sensitive especially with the rugged terrain in Iceland.
It was nice that the customer service agent helps explain and help provided ways to check and turn off the indicator light.

Assolutamente consigliato. Senza carta di credito e senza costi nascosti.
