The items that I purchased, the seller, and the shipper were all 5 star. I did have some problems with the tech side of things which is a Chairish issue. I was unable to put the items on hold, even though the website offered this option. Also, I had a few follow up questions about shipment and delivery, but instead got long email responses from Chairish which looked like form letters and did not really answer my 2 straightforward questions. Not a deal breaker and will definitely use Chairish again especially now that I know their processes.

The seller was generous and charming. He had a wealth of knowledge about arts and crafts furniture and was very helpful with local pickup

I purchased a piece on Chairish for just over $2k. It turned out to be fake or not what was advertised. I returned the item and was given a refund but I had to pay for shipping both ways. The seller, Esmaili Rugs, did not send me a link for a review for obvious reasons and Chairish could not send me a link to review the seller.
I have no issues with how Chairish handled the transaction, however, now they have to suffer because their system won't allow for customers to review sellers without a link from the seller.
All buyers should beware on this site.

Unfortunately the 19th Century French Framed under the order 1382549 arrived broken and I asked if the freight was insured for damage during the transportation

The item was advertised as being in fundamentally excellent and usable condition. The pictures all showed it looking in good form. When it arrived, almost all of the 18 arms were extremely loose. The delivery guy said there would be a nut inside the housing that I could use to tighten each arm and that I could easily open the housing to fix this. As it turns out, there was no way to get the housing open. I had to take it to my lamp specialist who says that the top collar has been glued in place. He *hopes* he can remove it without scratching the polished chrome. At the very least, this is going to cost me a significant amount to repair. I am very, very disappointed and will not easily trust assurances of quality again.

Quality is very poor
Woodworking carving is very crude
Marble Top does not resemble photograph at all - a major disappointment. I cannot use these two tables.

I was concerned about the delay in delivery of the items purchased, as well as the condition of the chairs. The chairs are in fairly good condition. I will have additional work done on the chairs. However, the condition is overall good. They are antiques.
