Very detailed credit report
Very detailed credit report, combining all three of the big players to give an overall score. Goes back along way too. I only needed mine to support my mortgage application, so didn’t need to keep paying the monthly fee, but a handy feature of being able to save a current snapshot of my score accompanied with all my (on time) payments as a PDF is a nice touch. Like I said I only needed it to support a mortgage application but would definitely use again if wanting to check on things. The only downside i have is I’m not sure how often it updates, I had cleared of a credit card a few weeks ago but was still showing a balance on the report. This may be due to gathering the update from all three of the credit agencies, but that aside, I highly recommend it.

It's great to hear that Checkmyfile has been a part of your mortgage application! We know how important it is to see your full report when you're making a major credit application.
I'm glad you've found the level of detail in your report so useful, as well as the option to save a copy in case you need to share or review it later. We know this feature can be especially helpful when working with a third party, like a mortgage broker or financial adviser.
In terms of when the information on your report updates, there are two things to bear in mind:
1. You can update your Checkmyfile report every day. Each time you use the green 'Update' banner at the top of the page, we re-run your details with the credit reference agencies and return the updated result to you.
2. Lenders share new data with the credit agencies on a monthly basis. This means it can take 4-6 weeks for a change to your account, like settling a balance, to be recorded by each credit agency. As soon as the agencies have your updated information, it will also show on your updated Checkmyfile report.
We'll be really happy to have you back with us if you ever need your report again, or just to keep on top of your credit health. Best of luck with the new mortgage!
