First of all, if you have to download an app to your phone to use what looks like a drive-through, something's not right. Secondly, the prices are too high, for the quantity and quality of what you actually get. If this franchise flourishes any further, I'll be surprised.

Chipotle took double payment!!!!
Chipotle had an offer for free guacamole on leap day. Because I had enough points for a free burrito I thought that I could redeem them both and get the burrito as well as the free guacamole. While trying to place the order in the app, I clicked redeem points, then redeem offer for free guac. It did not allow me to do both so I backed up and only selected free guac being that it expired that day. Long story short, the app took my 1625 points as well as my credit card payment for the same burrito.
I wrote to Chipotle via the app as well as via email and I have been fighting with them for three weeks now because they refuse to give me back my credit card payment. I initially asked for the points to be returned and they claimed that they cannot return the points, so I’ve been asking them to either give me a credit for a free burrito or return my money. For several attempts, their personnel completely ignore my requests to return my credit card payment and keep telling me over and over that they cannot return points. I’ve asked several times to please escalate this to someone in management that can and will do something to remedy this but they refuse and say again that they cannot return points. I placed the order in the app and they can see by reading the thread of app chats and emails, my multiple requests for my money back or a credit for a burrito. All of the evidence is in front of them but they seem to refuse to give my money back and want to keep the double payment. It took me several months to accumulate enough points to get a free burrito and it’s really unfair for them to keep the points and my payment.
Chipotle should be ashamed of themselves for the way that they are handling this very very simple situation.
I will never trust them again.
Decent food depending on time of day but absolutely dreadful. Customer service
Customers may as well be cattle at chipotle with how they rush you through even if no one is behind you and literally I've never ever seen an employee smile and after paying they don't even give you the tray they make you reach across and get it literally Everytime. The food is somewhat consistent depending on what time of the day but can't order online because the severely skimp on portions. Only restaurant I frequent that literally the whole staff act like you're an inconveniencing them.

I went to the Bartlett Street location in Beverly mass. They were out of meats. They were out of rice. They were out of just about half of the food, including the beverages machine was out of order, but that cashier continued to let me buy a drink. The location was a total disaster, with trash everywhere, including the tables and the floor. There was no trash barrel, available to dispose of the trash. When I did place the food order, the serving was minimal. But yet they chose to charge me full price. Including a drink, which the machine was not operable. I would not encourage anyone to step foot into this place. The employees don’t care, the manager cares less, and it reflects on the way the business is being run, and how the business looks. The place was disgusting. This will be the last time I step foot into any chipotle location.

This is the first time we have visited a Chipolte's, and certainly were disappointed. We got there around 2pm, so it was after the lunch crowd. There were only two other people dining, but at least half of the tables were dirty. They are small tables, and it doesn't take much effort to clean them. We went through the line. The server was fast and efficient. Checkout was just "okay". The taste of the meat was just okay...nothing special. The chips and taco shell didn't seem to be fresh. They were chewy, not crunchy. The bathrooms had an unpleasant odor.
There seemed to be plenty of staff, but for the most part, we got the distinct impression they were there just to make some money. They didn't seem to be particularly interested in professionally running a restaurant. Just an observation...

I have ordered from the new Ancaster Ontario location at least 6 times for lunch
Quality, portion and value have always been top notch, especially the bowls
And they can easily make for 2 lunches with cost under $20.00 total
Mostly order the chicken which is best on the menu (have not tried fish)
Only sub par experience was the Barbacoa Beef which was far too salty
Lot’s of other options though and I am a fan

firstly I asked if they have glutenfree tacos and she showed regular wheat tacos. Then proceeded to fill the tacos with a scant amount of very fatty barbacoa beef, about half was fat. It tasted delicious but was NOT worth $10.

I placed an order online. I went through the payment process and the whole 9 yards but never got my food. I went to the store to try to get this resolved, and even though I showed proof that I was in contact with Customer Service, the manager would not do anything to help. I called Customer Service and they saw the problem. The problem was in the app which was no fault of mine. It took 2 1/2 hours before I was able to get food. Neither the manager or Customer Service offered any compensation. I think that’s ridiculous because it took 2 1/2 hours to get food from them. I was paying $25 on top of what it cost to get the food in the store. I don’t think I will ever use them again.
For the $, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
I ordered $30 worth of food tonight from Chipotle, Daphne, AL. Two simple steak salads. I ordered and paid online. We arrived at the time for pick-up and sat for 10 minutes at the window without any acknowledgement. A male employee was in sight near the window, but never acknowledged us, even after a toot on our horn (which I hated doing). Please note, there was no one else in the pick-up line. Finally, a female employee ventured by and asked how long we’d been there. Our order was sitting there the whole time, in sight. We finally received it and went home to eat. The order was entirely cold. That, in itself is bearable, BUT the meat and rest of the salad was so spicy hot, we were left with burnt mouths. Even my friend who eats peppers and extremely spicy food couldn’t eat it. Me? I tried, but had to quit. I attempted to reach the company online and was caught in a circle where I could never offer comments directly online. Therefore, I’m posting this review. I will try to contact the manager of my location tomorrow by phone. There’s no excuse for serving food that’s inedible in these days and economic times. UPDATE: after experiencing the head-banging difficulty of contacting customer service (NUMEROUS calls and being trapped in a vicious circle and then quite a few emails), Chipotle refunded my money. At first they wanted to credit me with meals, but I told them my experience was so bad, I wanted nothing to do with their restaurant.

All around disappointment with new location
I have loved Chipotle bowls for years and finally, a few months ago we got one in my hometown. Sadly I have been disappointed on both occasions that I have used mobile ordering. The first time I ordered with a 2-hour advance and when I got there I was told there would still be another 2-hour wait because they were behind on orders. The second time was today a few months after the first order. I ordered at 11 am for my bowl to be done by noon. When I arrived it was not done, I waited 23 minutes and still no one gave me my order. I asked to cancel the order because I was on my lunch break. They went to check and brought my food out. I work less than 5 minutes away and when I got to work my food was ice cold. This was all-around disappointing. Someone needs to do better!
Chipotle in Vero Beach: always out of something!
Chipotle in Vero Beach, FL has gone from great to aweful. We were disappointed earlier when they ran out of chicken, but the straw that broke the camel's back was tonight when they ran out of tomato salsa. I know we used to have supply issues last year after COVID, but we're far later than that! We were so mad we walked out and went to a different place to eat.

Don't use the app
If you order through the app and something is wrong the store can not help you. You have to call the 800 number. If you are owed a refund corporate policy is you have to call within 7 days or else they won't refund you.
This happened to me and when the rep when they realized I called 28 days after my missing item chastised me wondering why I took so long to call and this is my fault. The manager never told me I had 7 days. The rep said not everyone knows corporate policy. They said they might be able to get me a free item but they'd have to ask their manager and were really rude about this as well.
I have really enjoyed this place for many years but they were so rude and such stupid policy I won't go back.
Waste of Money
The store in San Diego on Fletcher is AWEFUL! Does not open on time, proteins still aren’t ready, the tortillas were ice cold, and NO flavor! At $11+ you think it would actually taste good…NOPE! I will never return

well, who hasnt had chipotle these days. i think it is one of the things to explore if you ever visit the states even once. Quick and tasty, budget friendly, fast and casual. And the courses are definitely restrict you to follow a certain standard, you can customize them, does not matter if it is a burrito, or a bowl or some tacos.
the portion sizes are pretty american, not gonna lie, they can be huge in size but you know, obviously, filling. Barbacoa is a very good choice to try out, and obviously the guacamole was rely tasty.
