A message about Branding and E. Coli discontinuation
Poor respect for sociopolitics in the branding environment. Fraudulent practices with the market they are in isn't normal or cool. Branded "mexican" is a bad reflection of the ingredients used, systems relied upon, and relationships with key American personnel.

They would not cancel or refund an order placed online.
I will never place and order with such an inflexible company. I had to call my credit card company to void this order.
Last two times I placed an order for pickup they lost my order and I had to wait to receive the order. I will never purchase any further from this company again in my lifetime.
Horrible slop bowls
Ironically the dictionary word of the year for 25' was SLOP. AKA-Chipotle is just that. Shocked that this POS franchise entity has a business model that is based on providing the likes of a "burrito bowl" w/zero tortilla nor nacho chips that is basically elementary school cafeteria lukewarm tasteless slop in a bowl of various items that is inedible AND a friggin' $13. I admit I was in town in a hurry near the nearby Costco on my way to a comedy gig & needed just a bit of food to satiate my belly. Their tripe is barely food-it is total garbage. How this company remains in business is a cosmic mystery-total junk in every way. Avoid at all costs.
Overall Chipotle service
Overall Chipotle service, quality, and staff has gone completely downhill. Regardless of the restaurant I walk into, it is dirty, staff is inattentive, if ordering catering, it is near impossible unless 26 hours in advance and if you are able to order it, rarely ready on time, or you are ignored when trying to pick it up. This experience is systemic - I travel multiple states and the experience is consistent among varied locations. I refuse to order chipotle for my customers ever again, and will not go personally. Thousands of dollars of revenue the company clearly has no interest in - not to mention the word of mouth on how bad the service is. Had to tell the phone system the toilet was clogged so it would transfer me to speak with the restaurant - ridiculous!
Incompetent employees
I made a pickup order 10 minutes before arriving at the restaurant so it would be ready on time. When I got there, I went to the pickup counter, but my food was not there. I then went to the front counter and waited another 10 minutes until a worker finally asked what I needed. I told them the name on the order, and they proceeded to throw the food into the bag and hand it to me. By the time I received my food, it was cold and damaged. I am very unsatisfied, especially since Chipotle is on the pricier side, and I had to deal with disrespectful workers. If you don’t want to work at Chipotle, then don’t! I do not recommend going to the Chipotle in Greensburg off Route 30 it is truly a waste of time and money.

Not a good experience. Excessive salt
Not a good experience. Way too much salt. High risk eating your food regularly.
Many American‑style fast‑casual chains like Chipotle do use higher sodium and sugar levels than what’s typical in the UK. That’s partly because:
• Recipes are standardised across countries, so the UK often inherits US formulations.
• Salt and sugar are used to boost flavour and shelf stability in large‑scale operations.
• Drinks and sides are a major profit centre, so heavily seasoned food can indirectly drive sales.
I’ve been a customer at Chipotle for years, mainly at the Tottenham Court Road and Google Street locations. Unfortunately, the experience has gone steadily downhill, and this latest visit will be my last.
The biggest issue is the excessive salt. I’ve been raising this concern since 2025, and nothing has changed. Whether it’s the vegetarian rice bowl I usually order or, in this case, the chicken bowl I tried, the salt levels are overwhelming. It’s not just a matter of taste — it genuinely feels unhealthy. My watch even flagged unusually high sodium intake after eating there with high blood pressure.
It’s disappointing to see yet another American chain relying on high salt and sugar. It feels like customers are being pushed toward buying more drinks just to cope with the seasoning. It’s widely known how unhealthy this style of food can be, but I had hoped Chipotle would be different.
I’ve given them multiple chances. I even overlooked the change in the vegetarian option, which used to include red peppers but now only comes with green peppers and onions. But the salt issue is the final straw. A single meal shouldn’t feel like it’s putting you at risk of a stroke or heart problems, especially when guidelines warn against consuming more than 5g of sodium per day — and this meal was clearly far above that.
London has plenty of places to eat, and my health matters. Chipotle is tasty, but the risks simply aren’t worth it anymore.
I binned my food today. What a waste.

I ordered a burrito bowl through their website for delivery. They added salsa to my bowl which I did not order and cannot eat because I am allergic to tomatoes.I sent a request on their website for a app reward for a free meal since I was unable to eat the one I ordered. They gave me a reward for a free side of guac which I don't ever eat or order and told me that was the best they could do.
Bowls getting smaller
Bowls getting smaller, food quality is not the same, and the nerves to raise prices again. I will never eat at Chipotle again, I hope they go out of business soon.

To those people who complain about small portions or missing items, chipotle makes it right infront of you, so stop staring at your phone and watch closely how they are making your bowl or burrito ! Geez. Your to blame. Tip: You can ask for more of anything except meat at no charge so don't pay if you're not satisfied with it. Stand up for yourself!

Over a Decade of Loyalty, Repeatedly Disappointed
I’ve been going to the Chipotle at Midtown in Tuscaloosa, AL for over 10 years—hundreds of visits. I’ve also traveled across the U.S. and eaten at many other Chipotle locations, and I can confidently say this is consistently the worst one I’ve ever experienced.
The issues are widespread and persistent:
• Unfriendly, disengaged staff who show little interest in helping customers.
• Frequent order mistakes, both in-store and through pickup.
• Customer support (Pepper Chat) has now told me I can no longer be compensated because there have been “too many issues”—which says more about their consistency in messing up than it does about me.
Most recently, they put two completely wrong burrito bowls—for other customers—in my bag instead of my actual, customized premium order. Even with clear evidence (receipts, labels, photos), Chipotle refused to fix the issue and offered only dismissive, copy-paste responses.
After so many years of loyalty, it’s incredibly disappointing to see how far this location has declined. It’s in urgent need of management changes, staff training, and a quality control overhaul. If you care about accurate orders or basic customer service, I recommend avoiding this location.
Lots of salt on chicken and beef
Lots of salt on chicken and beef . These days chipotle grill is very bad . My son vomited because of salt . We ate in LA .never go again. If you guys are eating these food future will be Headache or some other health issues for sure.
Poor customer service
I just used their app to order for the 2nd time. Both orders were botched. The employees in the store said they couldn't do anything about app errors and that I should call the 800 number. I called that number and the rep couldn't (or wouldn't?) do anything either. The food is good but they know nothing about customer service.
Can’t say anything else but thief’s
There system has forced me to dispute a charge with BofA and file a complaint with consumer protection agency here in NC. I used the app to order dinner and when we arrived to pick it up they had no record of the order and could not provide any food. I reached out several times and got stuck in their terrible AI program. They do not understand that they stole $48.57. They took the money and did not provide anything. Their system does not even recognize the problem to offer any solutions. I do not want free food I just want to be refunded for the food they never provided! I would never recommend this terrible establishment!!!!
Where's the meat?
The amount of meat placed on your bowl without a doubt is so diminutive in comparison to the beans and rice...
The service was terrible
The service was terrible. Manager always has an attitude. Also we hardly got a half bowl of food. This makes no sense at all especially for the price. Do better ppl!!!
worst customer service
After our large Uber Eats order for 16 people was confirmed with a 1.5-hour ETA, it was canceled after more than an hour of waiting.
I called the store to ask what they could do or if they could still take the order directly since it was already very late. The lady on the phone was not helpful at all and kept repeating that Uber Eats would refund the order, without offering any solution.
A refund doesn’t help when it’s almost 1:30 and 16 people are left without food because the order was canceled so late. Very poor customer service. I would not recommend ordering from or buying from this location.

The Beast vs. The Devil: Unsubstantiated Fear in Lord of the Flies and Salem
The Salem Witch Trials were a series of hearings and prosecutions that took place in colonial Massachusetts between 1692 and 1693. Over 200 people were accused of practicing witchcraft, a capital crime. The trials began after a few young women claimed to be possessed by the devil and accused several local women of witchcraft. Fueling the panic was a combination of Puritan religious fervor, fear of the unknown, and internal community conflicts. The primary evidence used in the trials was "spectral evidence," where victims testified that the accused's spirit was tormenting them in dreams and visions. There was no physical evidence, yet the intense fear and hysteria led to the execution of 20 people and the imprisonment of many more, serving as a dark example of how unsubstantiated fear can turn into a violent, destructive force.
The Activity
This activity asks you to compare the fear of the "beast" in Lord of the Flies to the fear of "witchcraft" in the Salem Witch Trials. Answer the following questions, using both your understanding of the novel and the information above.
The Source of Fear: What was the initial, vague cause of the fear in both the boys on the island and the people of Salem? How did this fear begin with a small group and then spread to the entire community?
Someone started a rumor and it spread like wildfire.
The Lack of Evidence: The boys are terrified of the beast, but no one has seen it clearly. The accusers in Salem used "spectral evidence" (visions and dreams). In what ways is the "evidence" for the beast similar to the evidence used in the Salem Witch Trials?
They had no evidence.
The Role of Hysteria: In Salem, mass hysteria and panic caused people to believe wild accusations. How does the mob mentality of the boys contribute to their belief in the beast, even when logical explanations are offered (like by Piggy)?
When one person that everyone believes starts to believe the rumor.
The Blame Game: In both scenarios, the fear leads to a need to find a scapegoat or a physical target for their anxieties. Who or what becomes the physical manifestation of the fear in Lord of the Flies? Who or what was the physical target of fear in Salem?
The Beast, The women in Salem.
The Consequences: Ultimately, what was the terrible outcome of the fear-fueled accusations in Salem? How has the fear of the beast affected the boys in the novel?
Everyone was thinking it was real.
