Not helpful so far
Not helpful so far. Garage advised we had to sign agreement immediately despite not picking up the car until 2 weeks later due to issues with the car. Close automatically set up the finance as if we had already taken the car. After sitting on hold for over 30 minutes I was advised a specialist team would need to deal with this and would call me back.
1 month later and still no call back or even the welcome call I was advised multiple times would take place.
No correspondence received apart from a very basic email. No clue how to view my account, where to go for help, if the car issues are noted on the agreement or when direct debit has been set up for. Not a great start!

Poor customer service
I contacted customer service regarding a letter I received, and it was by far one of the worst support experiences I've had. The advisor handling my call showed complete apathy toward my case, offering no genuine assistance or empathy.
Throughout the conversation, she repeatedly muttered "okay" every few minutes and eventually pretended she couldn't hear me to cut the interaction short. To make matters worse, the background office noise was chaotic, and I clearly overheard another colleague on the phone loudly repeating a client's private personal details—a massive breach of privacy and data security.
Overall, the staff was rude, distracted, and entirely unprofessional. I expected a much higher standard of service and discretion.
P.S Thank you for taking time to respond here, I have contacted you on the email provided, still no reply....

Good motor finance provider
I have used Close Brothers Motor Finance buying my first car through finances but didn't went well with the car and they were very helpful and competent.
I complained as the car was faulty,they took the complaint very seriously at the end the rejected the vehicle and they are in the process to refund all my installments and deposit.
I really recommend Close Brothers as they are very good finance company.
Thank you very much for your help and cooperation.
I have a new car again under their motor finance agreement 🤝
