My family used this company on 6 and 19 August as came recommended and top of your website. I have reported them to Bedfordshire Police with the following report:

Please tell us what happened, and the events leading up to it, to help us identify if an offence has been committed.:

“ I booked my car into Travel Luton Park and Ride via a Discounts for Teachers App which provided a comparison website for airport parking Travel Luton Park and Ride came up top of the list and came recommended.
Immediately upon dropping the car (which was near Luton Town Centre), I became suspicious and asked the man if it was a legitimate business upon which he said it was. It is a disgusting dust ridden yard which rang alarm bells straight away. They asked for my car keys and I stressed I was not happy doing this as it was not stated on their website that they would be taking them. He said that the car would not be staying there as it was going to be taken elsewhere offsite!
They also asked us to provide an additional £20 for drop off/pick up service to the airport, which I believe they are getting from every booking.
They were reluctant of me taking photos of them but I was concerned I would never see my car again.
The number plate of the vehicle which dropped us off was SJ64 WBV and I was concerned it was not licensed to carry passengers.
Upon return to airport early hours of 19/08/26, some families with children had been waiting for an hour to be picked up from the airport.
The gentleman who collected us admitted that he had nothing to do with the company and that it was not a legitimate business and he was just a mini bus driver.
I have suspicions it is not legitimate as I know there has been recent similar cases at Luton Airport. They are abusing a service to Luton Airport passengers which I am convinced is not legal and corrupt.

Cars had been left for customers with engines running and headlights on with no one to liaise with, just sitting there in the disgusting dust ridden car park with no lighting and it just felt so unsafe and unprofessional”.

The Police have also asked me to report them to Trading Standards.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE — absolutely dreadful service.

I genuinely cannot remember the last time I dealt with a company that was so unhelpful, inflexible and dismissive.

Once you make a booking, you are then told which parking company will actually be providing the service. That is when you may discover that the car park/service provider has terrible Google reviews — in some cases around 1/5 stars. If I had known who the actual provider was before booking, I certainly would have thought twice.

It also raises the question of why the parking provider, location and independent reviews aren’t made much clearer before customers hand over their money. It certainly doesn’t inspire confidence.

When I had an issue with my booking, customer service was absolutely useless. The staff were rude, dismissive and completely unwilling to actually help. Instead, they simply hid behind their “policy” and refused to show any common sense or flexibility whatsoever.

Apparently, once they can point to a policy, that’s the end of the conversation. Customer service, fairness and actually resolving the problem seem to come a very distant second.

Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere. There are plenty of airport parking companies around, and after this experience I would strongly recommend avoiding this one.

Terrible customer service. Unhelpful staff. Zero flexibility. Poor transparency.

DO NOT RECOMMEND — AVOID.

There was muck everywhere and a very rough road, they pick multiple people up at once and charge every booking the drop off fee! They are ripping people off!

Customer service was absolutely awful. The person on the phone was very rude and unhelpful.
The company give no instructions where to meet or where to take the car for park and ride. After a couple of phone calls back and fore it was clear they had no interest in helping and in the end they did not even answer the phone. We ended up paying for parking in another place spending twice as much. It was a very stressful start to our holiday.

Absolutely terrible company ! On arrival driver was late to meet us making us have to pay extra for the parking ticket and on return they were over a hour late and not only that lied about where the driver was ! We were told by the man the car was on his way and then he turned up himself driving it an hour later 🤷🏼‍♂️! Also often didn’t answer the phone and when finally answered was greeted by very little English and rude manners . Car was parked around 30 mins away aswell just so people know and car come back covered in bird poo and a new flat tyre . Driver also completely ignored me when he finally arrived with car and I asked where it has been !

Wouldn’t use again, comes up as cheapest price but then you have to pay an additional £8.50 each way for barriers. The bus from the parking was okay for us, we rang 30 mins before arrival but then got told a 30 min wait as driver was on break. Luckily they sorted this and we didn’t have to wait long. However we spoke to other passengers on way home who said they had waited over an hour for the bus to take them to the airport and many people were running very late, nearly missing flights due to lack of buses. They were asking passengers to drive their own cars to airport and then would take their car off them and wanted to drive the car back to the parking area (around 20min drive). When I arrived back at my car, it was full of condensation which I thought was very odd, then I noticed the passenger footwell was soaking wet, the mat smelt of damp and it was even wet underneath the mat. Have no idea what would’ve caused this, seems very strange!!

This is a cowboy company - do not use. When we dropped our car off and got a lift to the airport, the service was chaotic and the driver drove us like a madman. When we returned, they took ages to pick us up. There were about 4 families waiting and it was late at night. Lots of people also hadn’t been able to even get through on the phone. When we got back to our car, by car was parked in gear and they had left some scrap pieces of paper in their. If you do use this parking, make sure you take good before and after photos as people were complaining of scratches. We saw them moving people’s car and driving with no care or attention.

Waiting for an hour with other passengers (and children) between 1am and 2 am) was totally unacceptable. No explanation or apology.
Would not use this service if reliability is important.

Travel Park & Ride Luton on Burr Street are not a legitimate company and they don’t exist on companies house. I received a fine from Luton airport as the company were using my car while I was away. They have been reported to the police. Do not use them.

The meet and greet company (Saver Meet and Greet Stansted) was a complete rip off. Landed back in Stansted and had to wait 2 hours for them to return my car. Compare airport parking clearly do no due diligence on the companies they recommend. Disgraceful

It was a scam. I paid for meet and greet and they gave me a postcode 25 mins away to park. Then said they could give us a lift to the airport. I asked if they had a baby seat for my 9 month old and they told me to ‘hold it in my arms’. Absolutely shocking. Had to book with another parking company whilst at the airport.

Instead of orange.

And left my car keys under the car. Security risk.
I discovered a lot of people had the same prooblems.
I paid around £100 including parking fees for this service. I demand a refund

If only I had read the reviews before . Hopefully you are one of those people and all i can say is DONT DO IT. The site was difficult to get around and I booked asking for 65 pounds for 4 days.i realised in was in the airport so wanted to cancel straight away. There isn't a cool off period, they take you money and had yo wait 10 days to get 45 pounds returned to me. They did offer me the park and ride service which would have cost me 20 pounds more but wasn't going to give them anymore of my money. Absolutely con artists.

Absolutely terrible service. Despite following instructions on both drop off and collection, no one was there to greet us. The communication was awful, rude and extremely unprofessional. We had to wait over an hour to collect our car. They just dumped it in the car park, no communication whatsoever. Avoid using!

Very easy to compare deals, book, and get confirmation straight away. Once I got the details of the place I booked and read the 1 star awful Google reviews it was also very easy to phone up and instantly get a cancellation, to book somewhere more expensive but more reliable.

it was so simple even with my limited skills was easy, great price, simple to book, no hidden extras all in all a great experience.

I callled 8 times noone replied, I lost 30min, almost lost my flight, when I called for the 9th time they said somone will be there 30min, this is scamm avoid this bastards

Worst Meet & Greet I have ever used!! Poor directions into the car park from someone who was rude yet hardly spoke English - and was very difficult to understand, so we drove around for over 20 minutes! Then got told we had to pay additional costs to get car in and out of carpark - £13 each time - which was not shown up on booking - and then had to wait over an hour to have car returned when we got back. It would have been quicker and easier, and far cheaper to use the shuttle services! Do Not Use! Utter rubbish and stress!!!!

the website clears inputed data if you use the modify booking. also when you click "blue bar" to pay it does not state which type of card this is so you end up going up going back to click "yellow Bar" all data clears. not helpful!!

I entrusted this company with my BMW while travelling abroad with my two young children. What happened when we returned—and the treatment I have received since—has been utterly disgraceful.

After landing at night, my keys were simply handed back. Nobody disclosed that anything had happened to my car, produced an incident report, warned me that it might be unsafe or advised me to inspect it before driving away.

The front number plate had been completely detached and had somehow ended up inside the bonnet/front area. The vehicle was returned in a visibly shocking condition, raising serious concerns about how it had been driven or handled while supposedly in their care.

Despite this, they allowed a father with two young children to begin an approximately two-hour drive home to Plymouth without any warning. I unknowingly drove my children in a vehicle that may have sustained damage to its tyres, wheels, steering, suspension, alignment, underbody or mechanical components. Those risks cannot be ruled out until it has been professionally inspected.

A number plate does not simply detach itself without reason. This alone should have triggered an inspection, an incident report and immediate disclosure. Instead, the keys were handed over and we were apparently expected to drive away without noticing. This was not merely poor customer service; it showed a horrifying disregard for our safety.

I subsequently had to arrange for the number plate to be refitted myself so the car was road legal, paying £10 in cash. I have deliberately not washed the vehicle because doing so could destroy potential evidence before it is independently inspected and documented.

Their response has compounded the original incident. Rather than somebody immediately taking ownership of such a serious matter, I have been passed around, directed between different contacts, given reference numbers and told to wait several working days. I have repeatedly had to explain what happened while trying to establish who is responsible, who is handling my claim, whether CCTV and vehicle-custody records have been preserved, and how the inspection and repairs will be funded.

I have selected Boringdon Manor Garage, a reputable independent garage, to inspect the vehicle and provide a quotation. I have no trust in allowing the company responsible—or somebody chosen solely by them—to control the assessment. I reasonably require written confirmation that the inspection and necessary repairs will be paid for, and that an equivalent replacement vehicle will be provided at no cost while my BMW is unavailable. I need this car for my children, work and everyday life.

Any refund of the £137.94 parking charge is entirely separate from the cost of inspection, repairs, number-plate refitting, replacement transport, loss of use and any other resulting losses. Refunding a service that was plainly not delivered with reasonable care does not erase what happened or settle the wider matter.

The complete lack of transparency is staggering. Either somebody knew the car had sustained an impact or been handled in a way capable of tearing off its number plate and failed to report it, or their procedures are so inadequate that significant damage can occur without anybody noticing. Neither possibility is acceptable.

I paid this company to keep my vehicle secure. Instead, it was returned visibly damaged, without explanation or warning, and I was allowed to drive my two children home in it at night. Since then, I have encountered delay, deflection and an unacceptable runaround rather than immediate responsibility and resolution.

I strongly advise anybody considering using this service to photograph and video every part of their vehicle, record the mileage and fuel level, retain any tracking or dashcam evidence and inspect the vehicle fully before driving away. Based on my experience, you cannot assume that damage or a potential safety issue will be disclosed.

This review reflects my experience so far. I will update it with the independent inspection findings and an accurate account of whether the companies involved finally accept responsibility and resolve this properly.
