DO NOT BOOK THESE SCAMMERS!!! How they operate in the UK is absolutely beyond me. We recently fell for these crooks and were lucky we had a car back in one piece. They left our car key on the car tyre in the airport drop off zone and charged us twice extra fees plus we paid £26 to then leave the airport! We met people who had missed there flight, including a family with two young children as these crooks made them wait for over 2 hours to collect their car. One women was told to F off by them when she went she called to collect her car and was made waiting at the airport for nearly 3 hours. The police and the airports need to crack down on these gangs of rats as that’s what they are. No manners, rip off merchants, hazardous and crooks! They will 100% get what’s coming to them…..

⭐️ 1 STAR — SPINX PARKING: ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL

If I could give ZERO stars, I would.

We booked SPINX Parking because their service was advertised as secure, locked parking. That was the entire reason we chose them — we wanted our car somewhere safe and secure while we were away.

Unfortunately, our experience has left us seriously questioning whether that is what we actually received.

We had an AirTag/tracking device in the car, and while we were away it showed our car apparently sitting on Stains Road in London — not inside the secure, locked compound we had booked and paid for.

When I raised this with SPINX, rather than providing a convincing explanation, I was told that the tracking was wrong.

Funny that.

Because following the conversation, the car then appeared to be moved to a driveway.

So apparently our tracking was “wrong” until the car mysteriously changed location after we challenged them.

Our flight was then delayed by approximately 16 HOURS. We were charged another £25, which they said was due under their terms and conditions.

Fine — if that’s genuinely the agreed charge, that’s one thing.

What absolutely wasn’t acceptable was being made to feel that if we didn’t pay the £25, we simply wouldn’t get our own car back.

Considering I was already raising concerns about where the vehicle had been kept, the attitude towards the situation was unbelievable.

And then came the final insult.

After finally landing, we waited OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF for our car to be returned.

So let’s recap:

🚩 Paid for secure, locked parking
🚩 Tracking showed our car apparently parked on Stains Road
🚩 Told our tracking was wrong
🚩 Car subsequently appeared to be moved to a driveway
🚩 Charged £25 because of a flight delay
🚩 Made to feel that our own vehicle wouldn’t be returned unless the additional fee was paid
🚩 Waited over 1.5 hours to actually get our car back

The whole point of airport parking is to hand over your vehicle and go away knowing it’s being looked after.

Instead, we spent our time wondering where our car actually was, and then spent over an hour and a half waiting to get it back.

The lack of reassurance, transparency and professionalism throughout this experience was shocking.

SPINX Parking — you advertise peace of mind. What you actually gave us was stress, suspicion and a very long wait for our own car.

We absolutely will not be using SPINX again, and based on our experience, I would think very carefully before handing your keys over to them.

Save yourself the stress. Look elsewhere.

Excellent hassle free service for booking

Great service, appart from the fact that they ask you to call 30mins before drop off but no one picks up the phone, then the guy showed up 30 mins late and I almost missed my flight, they’re rude on the phone and when I started complaining they hung up on me. Well done!

DO NOT USE THIS SITE.
Booked three times through them, two shambolic experiences with the promoted companies, the third was a cancellation due to the previous experiences. No refund due to the small print, my bad I guess.
Meet and Greet should be what it says, not ring and wait 4 hours on the first occasion and 3 hours on the second.
The first was at Luton airport, details I no longer have and the second was Gatwick airport. A company called 247 Aiport parking but are also connected to Sapphire parking.
My impression is, Compare the Parking do not due diligence on these companies that sign up to use this site. When you complain they lay the blame solely at the service provider and to take it up with them. You try getting these providers to engage with you after they have had your money, good luck.

We arrived at Secure Airport Transfer and was told we had to pay an extra £13 for admin and transfer fee this was never mentioned when I paid. On our return journey I informed them we needed to be collected this was the 19th September. It was then they said I owe money and I had to pay to be picked up. I checked my booking and yes I think I could have made a mistake but unsure? My booking started on the 12th September 2026 4:00am and it ended on the same day at 16:00 pm just 12 hours later very weird and was charged £43:94. The guy was blunt on the phone and said I owed a further £105 but with an online discount he said £84 payable otherwise we wouldn’t have been collected or our car released. It was along day so paid but very unhappy so we was finally collected 40 minutes after paying I went to the hunters office to inquire about our booking and reason with the guy and asked why the original payment of £43.94 had been dismissed and had been charged for a further 7 days parking. He was very unhelpful and smirking which didn’t help. Who pays for £43.94 for 12 hours parking really bad service do not use.

Paid £53.00, to be told that I would have to pay an extra charge for dropping and picking the car up at the terminal, so now i have to go online and pay the additional costs before I'm issued a £60 penalty notice.

I should of just parked it in the field where it was kept

The parking is located on a farm and the road leading up to it is not suitable for vehicles, like something out of a 3rd world country. From the moment I arrived till I was dropped off at the airport took nearly 45 minutes... Avoid if possible.

Very disappointed with the airport parking service. The price shown on the website did not clearly include the Airport Levy charges of £13 each way. These additional charges were only made clear afterwards, which made the final cost significantly higher than the price I was expecting.

The website should clearly display all mandatory charges upfront so customers can make an informed decision before booking. If I had known about the additional £13 each way charge at the time of booking, I would have reconsidered using the service.

Please be more transparent about these charges and make sure the full cost is clearly shown before customers complete their booking.

Paid £1.99 for the delay insurance- I made them aware 48 in advance my flight was changed back by 1 hour. They then had the cheek to try and charge me £20 to change it as an “admin charge “. So why pay the insurance ???? Absolute shambles of a company - avoid

Good website, easy to find what I wanted.

If anyone has gone for this company and want to amend their times/dates go to to your chosen airport car park directly rather than through this company. They charge you an amendment fee for literally no reason but if you go through the airport parking directly they do not charge you.

Worst car parking booking I’ve ever had. Company was a joke, and I should have been cautious of the cheap deal. Site we arrived at is ramshackle and they dropped us off at the wrong terminal and demanded we took the shuttle as there was traffic - driver was appallingly rude. Car was dirty on return, waited ages to be collected and they didn’t know where our car was on site, despite us having the key. Found it wedged into a muddy area at the side of a barn down a dirt track. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. The fact this site sells their services also questions your ethics and professionalism. If I could have given zero stars, I would have.

DO NOT USE! Dreadful experience from start to finish, email said to go to orange car park and we should of gone to green, got stuck at the gate that wouldn’t let us in and couldn’t reverse out as enormous queue behind us. Ended up another person in queue gave their number plate to let us in car park to then drive out and go to green park. On return called at 15:22 to be told car would be with us in 45 mins, after several phone calls the car finally arrived at 16:53. We then couldn’t get out of the car park with the ticket they gave us and it took 2 hours of trying to sort it out with company and having to pay £25 to eventually get out of car park. What we thought was going to cost us £72 for the week ended up costing £113 with levy charges and many hours wasted trying to get home. Will never use them again and strongly advise you not to!

Straight forward, quite easy actually.

We arrived and were dealt with promptly which was helpful as we were running late for our flight . The shuttle bus left with 10 mins of us arriving and got us their in time for our flight

Terrible service.

Drop off was meant to be in the orange car park outside the terminal but when I rang ahead they said green car park (it would have been cheaper to just park directly here).

On pickup, had to wait 50 minutes for the car to be delivered back to me.

That was the good service - my parents who we were travelling with had to wait over 3 hours to get their car/get the ticket sorted to leave the car park.

So easy to book, prices excellent compared to booking direct with airport.

I went with Sapphire Parking Gatwick through the site Compare Airport Parking. I was left stranded without someone to pick up said “within 10-15 minutes” when trying to call multiple times to their number, with no response and eventually turned off! (Screen recording proof).

Will be requesting full refund and compensation.
