Completely useless. Every email I sent to request help (as the online information was not enough/correct to process the transaction) just reiterated the information in that same useless form. As I am a customer of Great Southern Bank and they do transfers with Convera, I have no choice but to set up a new different bank account for this transaction or get them to send me a cheque. Bring back SWIFT!!

The level of service received from my relationship manager is highly commendable, a very much 'can't do enough for you' kind of attitude and very efficient and knowledgeable. We always chat about how we both are and families are before getting down to business and I think that goes a long way and you can tell a lot from an individual and the business when it is easy for that to happen. Your customer service department are also very friendly and helpful with any requests or issues that may occur and resolve them in a a timely manner. Overall the service received is a great compliment to your team!

Hello I would confirm that we have been a customer with Convera/ Western Union for over 10 years and have always received good service. Our Account Manager Lee Chappell keeps us well informed regarding currency rates and business information relating to any forthcoming changes that effect our processing the purchases of currencies.

Convera provide a good service and the rates are usually favourable by comparison. The support is excellent. It is easy to get through on the telephone to either the customer support team or our account manager. Emails are responded to quickly and support cases are raised and responded to in a timely manner.
The one thing that lets Convera down is their software. We have had to revert to the legacy view as, due to lag, we are unable to confirm a payment within the allocated timeframe to secure the rate given. We are currently having problems quickly obtaining the reference required to settle payments via our bank - and whilst you have 7 days to make settlement, I prefer to make the settlement as soon as I have raised the payment through the Convera platform.
I have discussed this issue with our very helpful account manager and he tells me that they are working toward implementing a new platform.
I would definitely recommend Convera as a reliable foreign exchange provider, with good rates and who let you know when might be a good time to buy forward or place money into holding (whilst obviously beneficial to themselves, this has never been at a subsequent detriment to us)
