I had purchased a set of tape wound…
I had purchased a set of tape wound long scale bass strings and one string was gray while the others are all black.
In an email to D'Addario I described the situation and was asked to supply the model number, player circle code, and my address. This was just before the Memorial Day weekend and I didn't expect to hear back from my Customer Service Specialist until mid week.
In the meantime, needing strings, I headed to the chain store to see if they could help me and they swapped them for a new set of the same color. After a 28 mile round trip I was excited to put the strings on when I discovered that the guy gave me a short scale set. I immediately called and asked the associate to see if he had the set in long scale and he said they had five sets and would confirm if I could wait on hold. He came back and said yes they have them and come back to swap them again.
So the next morning I stepped out and there was a package that was probably an amazon delivery and pushed it aside. Off I went on another round trip to the chain store. Upon getting there and looking for the correct set they were nowhere to be found. The associate looked them up in their inventory and it said they were in stock. After another twenty minutes of disappointment, they were going to order a set and it would take a week to receive the set. I laughed and said amazon would have them to my door in the morning. They refunded my purchase price. Had I known this there is no way I would have gone through the trouble of burning my time and fuel on a fruitless search. I was not happy and planned to order another set on amazon but when I got home and opened the package on the porch it was a complete new set of long scale strings that my Customer Care Specialist must have overnighted to me. George S. went above and beyond for someone who is unknown and may never need another set of strings and would gladly pay for what he sent me since there are no strings to return. In todays day and age, it is rare to be taken care of so quickly and without any pushback. All my other basses have D'Addario strings and will always.
Sorry to be so long winded, but it is worth it to me.

Recharging Daddario Nexxus 360 Guitar Tuner
Daddario Help Centre was very prompt at responding to my query. But importantly they provided me with accurate instructions regarding the recharging of my Nexxus 360 tuner. Very grateful.
However I do think the instructions on the tuner packet should be more specific; ie, the USB charging cable should be pushed fully into the socket until you hear a click.

Customer service review
I have had basically 100% positive experiences dealing with D'Addario's customer service functions. They are prompt and always do what they can to fix problems and have satisfied me as a customer.
That being said, I'm under the impression the bug report in their "Gear Collection" Beta don't work properly. And the new changes to their website have created problems it appears the customer service folks can't fix on their end, but I don't think that reflects on the their department.
Great overall.

S tier Customer Service
Had an issue with some wear and tear after heavy use of their accessory bag and was asking if it was possible to purchase the inserts for it. Not only did they respond very quickly, but they took care of me with the best customer service I've experience in a long time. Big shout out to Hailey for amazing customer service.

Horrible customer service... where's my refund?
Horrible customer service! I bought a hat and it was flattened due too much packing on top of hat. They (Steve) sent another one that was flattened WORSE than the first one? There is no brim protector and hat came literally almost flat in the box. I said just give my money back and credit back my points and I will send back these 2 smashed hats. Is that being unreasonable? I have filled out 5 of these stupid return forms only to have them closed out without fixing the problem. I am totally being ignored by whoever this Steve guy is ??? I have left my phone number but he is hiding somewhere. Just give me a refund and my points and quit being a moron. You can have back your 2 smashed hats. I mean what is the problem there? I have been using Diaddario strings since 1978 and this idiot is going to cost you my future business over a hat. I get 2 damaged hats and I am stuck with that now? I don't think so... This company does not stand behind their customers anymore. Just read some of these complaints. Total B.S. So now I have to spend time trying to get through when no-one answers the phone or returns a message. Three phone calls and 8 emails overall.
Just read Their response... What a joke. That's what I have been asking for all along was to send back those crappy hats for a refund and THEY said no, lol. Now they say I can get a refund because of 2 bad reviews that I wrote. The hats ARE defective because the other one I have is PERFECT. The 2nd one and the resent one ARE NOT you moron. So at least admit that, lol. Why would I send back the one hat that is perfect? I can't believe you are reps for such a great company? Idiot response. I will still buy strings that I have used since 1978, but no longer any merch. I can buy that same hat on Ebay or Amazon and it would be perfect. I just wanted to use my points on a hat. Also, when you pack a hat you don't smash it in a box, dummy. It is protected by the box, duh. You pack around and inside the hat so it doesn't get crushed. You could have sent it in a plastic bag and had the same result and saved money on a box... Total snowflakes at Diaddario customer service. You should all be replaced.

Great Quality and Even Better Customer Service
First, regarding quality: the quality of the sticks I bought was great. Personally, I wouldn’t get a paint finish on sticks, as they tend to fall out during intense play, but that’s just me and my sweaty palms.
The product felt nice in my hands. The sticks sounded even when I dropped them. I bought two pairs, and for the sticks that didn’t sound even, I just sent a video to customer service. They responded within two hours and sent another pair my way!

I've been using humidipacks for years…
I've been using humidipacks for years and had never seen one leak right out of the package. I contacted D'Addario and the issue was resolved with just a copy of my receipt. Replacements came via UPS today. Special thanks to Hailey in customer service!
