Not Ideal
The internet connection was confusing as it was all self managed with no modem/router provided so I needed to research that and the electricity is still an issue as the chosen provider has not been able to read the meter.

Good experience overall
My technician (Jack) was very good and explained all things in great detail - seamless experience.
I would have loved an online platform where I could’ve reviewed different providers myself (and in my own time).

Happy, easy service
Very easy to get a hold of someone on the phone, person on the other end was very helpful and guiding in a happy and polite manner.
Being able to show via video my nbn and wifi router was also such a handy and good option.
Overall quick and easy, very happy friendly service- and my wifi works now so happy days 😊

Annoyed!
Annoyed that I had to spend a significant amount of time listening to a man with a thick accient on the phone help me connect up electricity to my new home. While thats all well and good on their end, I understand its their duty; but at the time of my phone call I was on a break from work and only had so much time to organise what I needed. I informed the gentleman that I had a set time to communicate and he went well over. I informed the man I had to leave and asked if he could simply attach everything in a welcome email and send it to me so that I may read and understand everything in my own time. I was frusterated and also late to return to work. I recommend listening to your potential customers and work with them in providing what they need. Anything else should be placed as instructions in an email.

it would have been easier and faster to do it myself. The operator did a good job and was friendly and polite but it only takes a few minutes to go online and change your address with an electricity supplier yourself, whereas this process, they have to read the terms and conditions etc out loud to you and you have to supply identification. Direct Connect uses Red Energy and the package they connect you with is more expensive than the package you can get if you sign up directly with Red Energy. Not a big deal as I will change it to the cheaper one next week so that’s fine, but honestly… just do it yourself.
