FURUI Fiber Optic DisplayPort Cable 2.1

I needed an active DisplayPort cable because my PC is located quite far from my monitor — due to the layout of my room and the cable management route. I originally tried a high-quality passive DisplayPort 2.1 cable, but at that distance, I experienced noticeable signal degradation, including flickering, display dropouts, and reduced refresh rates.

After some research, I picked up the FURUI Fiber Optic DisplayPort 2.1 Cable (33ft), and it completely solved the issue. It now reliably delivers 7680 x 2160 at 240Hz with zero flicker, no artifacts, and smooth, stable performance.

The build quality is excellent, and the directional nature of the fiber optic cable was clearly labeled — setup was simple. It fully supports 80Gbps bandwidth, and everything works as advertised across high refresh rates and resolutions.

One thing to note: while this is listed on a UK site, the item was actually dispatched from the USA, so shipping took a bit longer than expected. Not ideal if you need it urgently, but understandable given this is a niche product that may not be stocked locally.

Overall, highly recommended for anyone running a long-distance, high-performance display setup.

Just be warned never buy from this…

Just be warned never buy from this shower of sh*t. Ordered on line and cancelled the order before it actually got delivered. Was told to refuse the order when it come so I did. Two days later the parcel was left outside my door the driver never even knocked the door it was just left. I rang direct nine up and told them I didn’t want it. I asked them for a return address in the uk. UK RETURN ADDRESS NOT A CHANCE ITS A PO BOX. everything must be returned to the United States EVEN THO IT WAS ORDERED IN THE UK. AND at your own cost then low and behold on an email some one told me the warehouse in the uk had got problems. The problem is it doesn’t exist. Just be warned.

Terrible purchase experience and…

Terrible purchase experience and inconsistent product

Product ships from US and takes ages.
The handover to the UK was terrible.
The powerbricks are US not UK and was not clear at onset

Terrible service

Terrible service! I bought an electronic paint roller in September 2024! It never worked! I reported this on 21 September 2024! They asked for video evidence, I was away on holiday so said I would send it once back. Due to illness I have only just been able to send the video! They have refused to replace or refund! This is shocking service! What a waste of money. Will never use this company again with such poor customer service!

Update 23 April 2025

After me asking to raise a complaint and escalate to the CEO they sent me a voucher for the full amount and I am now waiting for the product to be delivered. I still should not have had to escalate but this has gone some way to resolve my issue.

Great little alarm clock

Ordered this alarm clock after having it in out hotel room in the U.S., on my return to the U.K. I decided to order it.
Great little clock. Very subtle and not at all glaring. Plus the phone charger is very handy.
And although I waited a while for delivery it arrived well packaged and exactly what I ordered. I needed to purchase an adapter but didn't mind. Really happy.

Do not use this website

Do not under any circumstances order anything from this 'company'.
I ordered speakers for £226 and then changed my mind. I sent an email asking to cancel the order and they replied saying it's not possible and they would only be able to refund 10% of what I paid. (£26).
I threatened to contact the relevant authorities about this disgusting offer and they then said they will actually refund the whole 100% and cancel the order.
I then received absolutely no confirmation email that it had been cancelled for a few days, so I had to continuously send a lot of emails until I eventually got a confirmation email and screenshot that they have sent the refund.
I am still fully expecting not to actually receive any refund - and if as expected I don't receive anything I will have to contact my bank to get it reversed.
Any reviews you see on here that are above 1 star are all fake (written by themselves).
The 'company' is based in India somewhere and is run by 1 or 2 dodgy people. They will send emails with different names at the bottom pretending to be different people working at the company, but it is all the same person.

DirectNine sourced a rare soundbar for us … :-)

My wife had some concerns around me buying a difficult to get hold of item online, in case it simply wouldn't arrive, though at all stages of the delivery the communication & tracking provided was outstanding & the goods turned up as promised. We are both now, very pleased customers. Thank you so much DirectNine ... :-)
