Fantastic time aboard with captain Luigi and chef Francesca! Dream team!! They took us to unique and beautiful spots in Costa Smeralda. We are so grateful for their hospitality.

A very bad experience with DreamYacht. We boarded a Dufour 520 GL after a 3-hour delay at the Nautique base, and then a string of mishaps plagued us all week: a breakdown of the tender’s engine, no autopilot, missing equipment (even though it was included in the reservation contract), an unconfirmed skipper, and a generator failure that even caused smoke on the last day...

In short, a very bad experience—I simply do not recommend this charter company in Olbia, as they are not reliable.

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana a bordo del catamarano Bali 5.4 Aster, con un itinerario che da Porto Cervo, in Costa Smeralda, ci ha portato fino a Bonifacio in Corsica, passando per l'arcipelago della Maddalena, Cavallo e Lavezzi. Un percorso studiato benissimo, adattato costantemente in base ai venti e alle correnti per garantire il massimo comfort di navigazione, ma sempre rispettato nella sua sostanza.

Il merito è soprattutto di Luigi e Francesca, due professionisti rassicuranti e premurosi in ogni momento della crociera. Luigi, il nostro skipper, ha messo un grandissimo impegno nella navigazione al fine di garantirci di vedere ed esplorare i paesaggi migliori della costa, adattando il percorso in base ai venti per vivere un'esperienza di navigazione in pieno confort e sicurezza. Panorami mozzafiato, calette nascoste e promontori spettacolari, hanno reso la nostra esperienza davvero indimenticabile. Francesca, chef di bordo, ci ha viziato con una cucina da cinque stelle: piatti sempre diversi a base di pesce fresco, primi e secondi di mare gustati anche nel rollio del catamarano, accompagnati da un buon bicchiere di vino, frutta fresca e bevande sempre pronte per noi a bordo. I suoi sorrisi e la sua anima generosa hanno creato un ottimo clima a bordo.

A tutto questo si aggiunge un aspetto che non è affatto scontato, soprattutto quando si trascorre una settimana intera insieme sulla stessa barca: Luigi e Francesca sono persone simpatiche e di cuore, capaci di creare un rapporto autentico con l'equipaggio. Nota positiva anche per la barca stessa, sempre pulita, in ordine e confortevole in ogni suo spazio.

Un'esperienza indimenticabile: consigliamo vivamente Dream Yacht Charter, e in particolare Luigi e Francesca, a chiunque cerchi una vacanza in catamarano di alto livello.

⭐ 1/5 – Absolutely unacceptable experience

We chartered a yacht for one week with Dream Yacht Worldwide in the British Virgin Islands, and the experience was honestly a complete joke.

The condition of the boat was catastrophic. We encountered numerous problems throughout the week that simply should not occur on a professionally maintained charter yacht. When you pay a significant amount of money to charter a boat, you should be able to expect a vessel that is properly inspected, maintained, and ready for use. That was absolutely not the case.

What made the whole experience even worse was the way the company handled our complaint afterwards. We took the time to document the issues and sent them a detailed letter. Instead of taking responsibility, showing some understanding, or offering an appropriate solution, there was basically zero accountability.

The impression we were left with is that Dream Yacht Worldwide is simply resting on the size of its operation instead of properly maintaining its fleet and taking care of its customers.

The customer service was just as disappointing: unhelpful, unfriendly and completely lacking any sense of customer care. Once they have your money, good luck getting anyone to genuinely care about your experience.

A charter company should be judged not only by how many boats and bases it operates, but by how well those boats are maintained and how customers are treated when something goes wrong. Based on our experience, Dream Yacht Worldwide failed badly on both.

We certainly would not charter with them again and cannot recommend them.

One week, countless problems, terrible customer service and absolutely no accountability afterwards. Avoid.

Un’esperienza pessima e metodi illegittimi della compagnia: la barca è stata fornita, dalla sede di Pozzuoli, molto sporca e in mediocri condizioni. Ma il peggio è successo durante la vacanza: per ripararci da una tempesta, abbiamo trovato ristoro in porto, cambiando i programmi originari che erano quelli di spostarci su un’altra isola; tale è stato il mare, però, che vi sono stati alcuni danni alla barca, pur ormeggiata in porto. Ebbene, pure essendo a noi evidentemente non imputabile il danno, la compagnia ha deciso di trattenere il deposito senza fornirci alcuna motivazione o addebito di responsabilità, evidente abuso che contrasteremo con forza nelle vie opportune.

A very helpful staff and a boat that was absolutely suitable for our cruise. Very responsive technician when information was needed. Highly recommended.
I have already sailed with Dream Yacht and would not hesitate sailing again.

The worst Charter
1. We paid early booking for 13.00, but the boat wasn’t ready at all; dirty, no outboard engine, the batteries weren’t fully charged and the water tanks neither, they didn’t have put the gas for stowe; we left more than 2 hours and a half later!!!
2. We didn’t have the water hose.
3. There are pieces of glass on both inside and outside floor.
4. Generator is not working.
5. The electric fuses don’t have covers.
6. They brought an outboard engine, but it’s broken.
7. One toilet pump doesn’t work.
8. It’s leaking into the back bedrooms if you wash cockpit.
9. They gave us broken ropes.
10. It’s raining and now water is coming in our cabin!
That’s the worst charter ever
11. The anchor is broken, so we MUST stay in Marinas, even if we were supposed to stay at the anchor

Perfect for sailors

This was our first time to sail for more than a day sail. This was the most wonderful experience of our lives! We will do this again, it was fabulous! The catamaran was spacious, comfortable, clean and fun! Our two Captains, Alek and Arnold weren’t just good sailors but were incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and showed us some incredible spots in the BVI’s. We saw so much and did so much. We love snorkelling. The cost of a resort and then day sailing far exceeds the cost of this trip. For us this was good value for money and we did not know that we could live it up so much for such a reasonable cost. The FOOD ABOARD WAS MAGNIFICENT!!!! Our chef was called Shar and he was not just a great chef but also one of the nicest, kindest people we have ever met. His attention to detail and his skill were evident at every meal. I think we got very lucky with our crew. The passengers that we were assigned a boat with were diverse, interesting, good company and we all enjoyed one another’s company. I can honestly say that this trip far exceeded my expectations and imagination. For thirty years I have visited the Caribbean and longed to be onboard and sailing. Looking to book again, soon! If you are on the fence, just do it! It’s a fantastic way to holiday. Very relaxing, great destinations and the best food I have ever had on holiday. We feel very lucky and privileged to have had this experience.

Excellent acceuil et briefing de départ au Marin. Le personnel est très sympathique et nous avons eu une réponse rapide et pertinente à chacune de nos demandes/interrogations.

Very bad experience with Dream Yacht charter at ACI marina Dubrovnik, Croatia.
The condition of the boat we rented (catamaran Lagoon 42) was substandard, badly maintained and dirty. The check-in was delayed because we had to wait the staff to sort out the issues with dingy's outboard engine, the fridge was dirty, broken handle, the seal rubber was falling apart, mooring ropes in bad condition, tool box missing most of the tools. The staff guys were badly organized by the management.
The lady at the couter is an arrogant and lazy person, letting you sort the things yourself while she was smoking and sitting infront of the office "kiss my ass attitude" She didn't know what their staff were doing and where they were.
The same thing was on the check out, no support at all from the same lady. Dream Yacht is the only one in ACI marina who doesn't have troleys for transfering personal belongings, we had to take the tolley from other charter companies. TO BE AVOIDED IN FUTURE.

Words cannot describe how disappointed I was on this trip.
Here are the highlights, full story below.

- Giacinto (the chef) made hostile comments about us (eg. called us 'those people')
- He was also clearly sexist. He would talk down to the women on board.
- Deliberately served food that would make us sick (beef and cheese)
- Most of the group was Italian (we are canadian) so we felt excluded (not the company's fault, just the reality of the trip)
- Sails were decoration! We were by motor the entire trip
- Places we stopped were beautiful, but often quite busy
- breakfast was always packaged. There was always fruit in the fridge but it was never put out.

My family went on the catamaran charter to Capri last month and we were all very excited. Before boarding the boat, we had messaged with the company we booked with (we booked through sailsquare) regarding our dietary issues. One of us does not eat beef, and another does not eat cheese. While these are not allergies, if eaten they would get sick. When we got onto the boat, we confirmed this with the chef. He asked us why we hadn't told him in advance (we assume there was a miscommunication) so we apologized but explained that we couldn't eat beef or cheese. He asked if it was an allergy, we said it was not but that we could not eat it. The dinner that evening contained cheese. We figured it was just because he didn't have time to plan in advance, and there was other food to eat (bread, cucumbers, tomatoes) so the member of our family ate around it. After another full day of lunch, afternoon snacks, and dinner containing cheese, we brought it back up with the chef. Every time there was a mention of not including cheese in a meal he would act as though this was a major inconvenience. Several members of our family brought it up to him in several different ways. At one point, we asked if he could set aside a bowl of pasta before adding cheese to the sauce. He made a big fuss saying "he should just eat it now. Then in 6 years he'll eat everything." At this point it became clear to us that not only was he ignoring our requests about seperating cheese, he was deliberately incorperating cheese into dishes, almost as if he was attempting to force him to eat it. This continued until later in the week where dinner was cheese filled meatballs. Luckily we were at port that night so those of us who could not eat it were able to leave and source our own dinner. It would have been just as easy, if not simpler, to leave a few meatballs without cheese in them. The examples like this occured several times daily. Not only was this frusterating because of the food, but throughout the week Giacinto made hostile comments, and just generally made the boat an unwelcome environment .

I can't even imagine how he would have acted if we had a genuine allergy. I would not trust him with my food.

By the end of the week, I was excited to go home.

Title: Paid Over $15,000 for a Premium Charter—Received Malfunctioning Toilets, Sewage Odor, and Poor Maintenance

We paid more than $15,000 for what was marketed as a premium seven-day catamaran charter through Dream Yacht, departing from Alimos Marina (Kalamaki), Athens, aboard a Fountaine Pajot Saona 47 Quintet.

Unfortunately, the yacht we received did not reflect the premium experience being advertised. Persistent sanitation problems, poor maintenance, inadequate preparation, and an unsatisfactory customer service response significantly diminished what should have been a once-in-a-lifetime vacation.

Weather is beyond anyone's control. The issues we experienced were not.

From the first day, two of the toilets malfunctioned. One produced a persistent sewage odor that became so severe we were forced to change cabins. We reported the problem immediately and were told the system had been serviced the previous week. Despite repeated reports, the problem was never repaired, and the sewage odor persisted throughout the remainder of our seven-day charter.

The yacht was also delivered with several conditions that we believe are unacceptable for a premium charter. One cabin had no curtain, leaving occupants without privacy and exposed to early morning sunlight. Bedding and mattresses were in poor condition. One mattress had a visible blood stain, and another bed had stained linens. The snorkeling equipment was heavily worn and dirty, and the paddleboards were not fully inflated when we boarded.

The photographs attached to this review document these conditions, including the missing cabin curtain, stained bedding, blood-stained mattress, worn snorkeling equipment, and repeated toilet malfunction.

As first-time sailors, we contacted Dream Yacht several times before departure asking for guidance on realistic daily sailing distances and itinerary planning. We were assured we would sit down with the skipper and develop a realistic itinerary.

Instead, the planning discussion was brief and did not prepare us for the fact that several sailing days would require six to eight hours underway, leaving far less time than anticipated for swimming, paddleboarding, hiking, and exploring the islands. Had those expectations been communicated in advance, we would have chosen a different itinerary.

We also did not receive what we considered to be a thorough orientation or safety briefing. There was little explanation of the yacht's systems or where equipment was stored.

Each guest received only one bath towel and one hand towel for the entire week. No swim towels were provided. When we asked about additional towels, we were told they would be purchased, but they never arrived.

After returning home, we contacted Dream Yacht customer service and provided photographs documenting the condition of the yacht and the unresolved sanitation issues.

Their final offer was $685 on a charter costing more than $15,000. Considering the unresolved sewage odor, malfunctioning toilets, required cabin change, cleanliness concerns, and overall condition of the yacht, we did not believe this offer adequately reflected the impact these issues had on our vacation.

Before leaving the marina, I recommend that future guests thoroughly test every toilet with multiple flushes, inspect every cabin for curtains, bedding, and mattress condition, verify that paddleboards and snorkeling equipment are clean and ready to use, and photograph and report every deficiency in writing before departure.

Mechanical problems can occur on any yacht. Our disappointment was not that something went wrong—it was that serious sanitation and maintenance issues remained unresolved despite being reported immediately, and that Dream Yacht's response afterward did not reflect the level of service one should expect from a premium charter company.

Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Dream Yacht.

Most of the locations were great and the food was amazing. Definitely hit more bars than was advertised on the itinerary, would have greatly preferred more snorkel or dive spots. Also, the optional tour in Anegada has the absolute worst marketing. While booking the trip we inquired about the optional tour, like asking for more details and we were told it’s just another snorkel and they couldn’t tell us anything else. So we didn’t book it. The problem is that there isn’t anything else to do on Anegada (except another bar outing). It was a waste of a day. If the optional tour was listed as going to Conch Island we would have booked it in a heartbeat. Or even better if an Anegada stop is a requirement on the trip then the Conch Island outing needs to be the set itinerary, not optional.

Amazing snorkeling spots. Great food that was perfectly prepared by our chef however would have preferred less curry that was used most days. More bars were hit than literary showed which was okay but some would have preferred other excursions. Captain was moody but still great experience overall. If you do to Anegada the conch island excursion with turtles is a must do.

Food was amazing and got to meet a lot of great new people doing the cabin charter! Locations we visited were a great mixture of relaxing and adventure, with a lot of snorkeling, beaches, and restaurants/bars!
