I've been buying jeans from Duke for years as they fit me well despite being large. Always an easy purchase and quick despatch and delivery.

Excellent service
Easy ordering is right up there for me. The cutting out of middlemen saved me money, and who doesn't want that?
Updates throughout with a very fast dispatch and delivery process, a free delivery I add. Highly recommended and trusted trader.

Payment Taken Before Shipment
(Feedback on their response below)
Be aware.
It seems they do not fully comply with their own Terms and Conditions (and thereby the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Distance Selling Regulations).
I placed an order on April 30th. The payment was captured on May 4th from my bank account (not just reserved, but actually debited), and only the day after, on May 5th, was the order shipped.
Better practice would be to first ensure the order can be fulfilled, by packaging and preparing it for shipment and then invoice it.
________
Feedback on their response (19-05-2026)
Your website states: "Your card will be debited once the order has been accepted."
However, my order was debited on May 4th, and first shipped after. If "accepted" means "processed/confirmed," then why was the payment captured before dispatch? This seems inconsistent with your stated policy.
Standard e-commerce practice:
You should only capture payment at dispatch. Otherwise, you expose yourself to poor business practices. For example:
Let’s say I place an order, you debit my card, and only afterward you attempt to assemble my order for shipment, only to discover an inventory error, meaning you cannot fulfil my order, even though you have already charged me.
Once more, better business practice would be to first assemble the order and, once ready for shipment, then debit the charge.

Thank you for your feedback. We believe there may be some misunderstanding here. As with virtually all online retailers, payment is taken at the point an order is processed and confirmed, prior to dispatch. This is standard e-commerce practice and does not conflict with consumer legislation or our Terms & Conditions.
Your order was successfully processed, payment captured, and then shipped. This this is a normal part of the fulfilment process.
We hope you were happy with your purchase and hope to welcome you back at Duke Direct Menswear. If you would consider revising your review that would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

The best company for menswear
The best company I know, I always buy here and I will in the future. Very good quality of everything but delivery costs for non UK countries are high.

We completely understand your comment on delivery costs. We have also seen a rise of these over the years. We keep these inline with Royal Mail prices for a 2kg package and always cover the extra postage costs ourselves for any larger orders that weigh considerably more to try and encourage our customers from abroad to continue to shop with us.
We look forward to welcoming you back at Duke Direct Menswear

Hi Gary,
The jeans you ordered and returned were 40 Long, no problem at all to return for a refund.
The jeans were delivered on the 11th March at 11:33am and refund was issued on the 15th March. It’s a little unfair to say you are awaiting a refund after 2 weeks when in fact it was only four days (only 2 working days since I processed your refund on the weekend). Please consider revising your feedback, it would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
Kind regards,
Tina

Thank you for the taking the time to leave a review. Please may I kindly ask if you could update the review now that your order has been delivered to you.
As you mentioned, the weather up in Scotland has been severe, so the postal services experienced delays in delivering mail.
Thank you for your understanding. I hope you were pleased with your purchase.
