Callum the engineer from Dyno called out to sort a drainage issue. He rang to let me know he was on his way. When he arrived he was very helpful and professional sorting the issue and was very reassuring.

Thanks Callum for explaining the cause of the issue and sorting it out so quickly.
Prompt attendance. Thorough work. Cause of blockage established and drain jetted fully clear. Camera showed no further blockages and no signs of damage. Jason N did a first class job.
The company I work for rents out flats to students. Once again, I had outstanding work done by Craig which left me, James Bond, truly shaken but not stirred.
Last week we had the gas boiler servicing done. I always get it done before spring to reduce the risk of a breakdown in winter. If a problem arises it's a lot less inconvenient to sort it out in spring and summer than it is in winter.
The reason we have Dynorod cover with Homecare 400 is because if you have a plumbing emergency the fear of God goes through you. Your head is spinning in a million different directions. You have the stress of wondering how to find someone to deal with the issue who won't rip you off.

Anyway, in our two of our flats the tenants mentioned that their taps were dripping and hadn't had time to inform us. Now that I had been informed, I logged a job for both flats.
I phoned up British Gas who booked Dyno Rod to do the job. Now since both flats were in the same building, they got one plumber to do both jobs on the same day. Something came up so I couldn't make the first appointment but I made one phone call to Dyno Rod and they rearranged both appointments with no fuss at all.
On the day this very nice man called Craig phoned me to tell me he was coming. He came within the agreed time frame and parked up.
I took him to the first flat. I told him I had no idea where the water switch off was. We went outside to have a look. He found four external water switch off but we had no idea which one was for which flat and one was full of gravel. He advised contacting United Utilities to identify which was which.
Anyway, we went back to the flat and he found the internal water switch off for hot and cold water in the boiler cupboard for the first flat. Once he'd done that, quicker than you can say Robert is your mother's brother (Bob's your uncle!) he sorted it out. He replaced the tap unit. He said that he could have just changed the washer but the gland nut was going so it would be advisable in the long run to change the unit which I appreciated.
Then we went to the next flat.
Again, we couldn't find the water switch off but this guy in true James Bond fashion found it behind the fridge!
He looked at the unit and changed the unit for both hot and cold taps because they were going and in the long run it would work out to be more time and cost efficient.
This is typical and consistent of the extremely high level of service I've had from Dyno Rod over the years. They find a problem, solve it and then stop further problems from occurring in the future.
Now on leaving we shook hands and I told Craig how grateful I was for his excellent work.
Later on, that day I met one of the tenants on the street and I told her what happened. She was very pleased with the work done.
So, think about it. I didn't have the stress of having to find a plumber in an emergency. I didn't have to worry about being ripped off. Just one phone call and I got a first-class job done and I have a very happy tenant.
On top of that under Craig’s advice I sent a letter to United Utilities about the external work. That will go a long way to prevent an emergency in the future and if one arises then we are better equipped to deal with it.
So, the usual questions.
Are they worth the money? Good value at 10 times the price.
Would I use them again? In a heartbeat.
Would I recommend them to anyone else? All day every day.
What would I recommend the public to do? My advice to you, especially if you rent out property, is to sign up to Homecare 400 with British Gas and include Dynorod cover.
I learned the hard way of what happens when you don't have such cover and you have a plumbing emergency. You don't want that. Save yourself the stress sign up to Homecare 400 with British Gas and include Dynorod cover.
