Will never shop in Easons again for imposing the medical apartheid that is the covid cert. Appalling treatment of Irish citizens.

Received my easons order with school books today. 99 c per book cover. All they did was stick a plastic cover on that is way too big and will be cracked in a short space of time. I will be returning the books and covers and will be purchasing them in my usual book store which 1. Doesn’t charge for delivery and 2. Covers the books properly. I only ordered from Easons as some of the books were out of stock at my usual store. Never again will I be ordering from Easons.

I regularly order from Easons on line and have always found the service above average. You can buy the same books on Amazon a little cheaper but then have to pay the exorbitant P&P charges that Amazon charge to send something to Eire. With Eason's anything over €10 (which must be 95% of books) is free P&P and your supporting an Irish company and an Irish postal service.

Really happy i was able to get a book in store which could be found no where else except Amazon, and it did not cost much more than Amazon which was a surprise. And really nice staff member should me where book was located.

Terrible customer service and terrible customer experience, online buy & collection, O'Connell Street branch.
Easons are terrible handling complaints from customer. The other big books stores Dublin South side are far more. better.

Yesterday I left a selection of cards totalling 19 euro in my shopping trolley. When I got home and realised my mistake I contacted Easons in Douglas Court Cork where I had purchased same items. They had no record of items being found but this morning I received a call to say they had been handed in. They were soaking wet but Easons had replaced each and everyone of them bar one for which they had no exact copy. When I called they offered me a choice of any other card to replace this one.
A lovely gesture. Way and above the call of duty. It was my fault but they were brilliant in their customer service

I went to my local Easons to buy some ink cartridges. For HP350 and HP 351 (combo pack), it was 65.50euros. When I went to Tesco the following day, the same product was priced 54.99 euros. After doing more checks online, 55euros seems to be the average price. Very disappointed in this cost difference. Will be shopping around in future.

Great service and prices. fast shipping. I got my order 2 days after placing it. Highly recommended.

If I could give no stars I would. It’s been over a month since I placed the order. Shows that it’s dispatched but not recognized by An Post. All customer service responses remain unanswered. Such a shame that a once mighty institution can’t get their act together in. Epic fail

Extreme poor service.
Ordered one book 13 euro from Eason on 9 February, its now 16 feb.
The book is 3 euro dearer on Eason compared to other sites in UK.
I want to support irish businesses and I understand why there are delays at this time.
I contacted Eason customer support and all I get is one automatic reply to my 4 emails as to my order.
The tracking number is saying not in their system even today at 11 am
Unfortunately I would not recommend Eason, and I will be ordering from hopefully another irish supplier.

I ordered 1 book on 04/02/2021, still havent got it on 12/02/2021?? I am in Ireland, how difficult could it be to send it. I got an email soon after with the tracking number, which led me to anpost tracking, and it turns out that it hasn't even been shipped yet? 8 DAYS LATER!!!! I sent a message to their contact centre, automatic response. Tried to ring, no answer. Never buying from them again.

Very helpful when I entered the wrong address, they amended it nearly straight away. Very fast delivery. Would highly recommend

Ordered the Billie Eilish book a few weeks ago. I was stupid and forgot to fill in my house number. I’ve been trying to get in contact with them for weeks now and they don’t reply on any platform. Also when you call them no one answers. It’s frustrating and I’m very afraid that I’ll never get in contact with them and I will never receive the book. It’s very upsetting...

Aggressively accosted at door of Easons Galway by junior clearly inexperienced staff who refused me admission as I did not have the specific title of the book I wished to purchase. This against the backdrop of an ( not surprisingly)empty shop. There is politeness and rudeness.. guess which I saw. Never again. Why bother opening.

I have placed an order for children's reading books on the 11th of January 2021 and I received an email confirming my order has been received, processed and scanned by An Post. However, when I check on An Post's tracking app with the tracking numbers I got from Eason's, I get a reply that the tracking numbers dont exist. I checked again a few days later but to no avail. I emailed Eason's customer service on the 18th of January but got the standard unhelpful reply. I understand that online requests and orders are on high demand. Eason's should have predicted and prepared for this. I assume that as they sell and supply newspapers that they would have seen Covid cases were on the rise and lockdown of level 5 maybe possible. I have seen retailers who didnt open during the last lockdown now provide online services during this lockdown. I have ordered from other companies who used An Post to deliver their goods to their value customers. When I got tracking numbers from the companies, I was able to track my order on An Post app. Very disappointing Eason Management needs to do a course on Customer Experience.

Absolute disgrace. Waiting 2 weeks for my order. Wont answer all my queries. I was going to buy from book depository as half the price, but against my good judgement said I would keep it local and Irish. They told me in first reply stuck in an other country. Do not I repeat do not buy or trust this company.

ordered a book on-line, it took 2 weeks!!! for the book to be dispatched - that should be highlighted at the point of order, i could have ordered a cheaper version elsewhere to be delivered quicker

Will not be using Easons again, ordered over a week ago.I got email following day to say they had been picked at warehouse & to allow 2/3 days for An Post to pick up. Still waiting, can't track them. Contacted support twice, no reply to first message. Reply to second message was that they are coming from UK. Delay not their fault & all the usual pass the blame. Brexit will be the ongoing excuse for the next few months. I will not be buying from them again.

They shipped out my item very fast however the post was slow so the books somehow got damaged but only one of them. So far, I'm a bit happy and I would recommend for everyone not to buy during december months 'cause the courier gets slow.

I believe Easons sent me a damaged book, because it was securely wrapped in a box and some of the top pages were torn which is impossible when it's securely wrapped.

P.S Easons customer service is very helpful and they're very kind.

Do not order from Easons, terrible service and you might not get your items. Ordered a 2021 diary on Jan 1st and emailed days later after no update to which they eventually replied that it was still in the "picking" stage. I noticed what I ordered had since been sold out on the website and got no further updates on the order. After having to get a link to view my order status through a special email (not available freely on their site) today it has been "cancelled" without any notification or explanation from easons themselves. Clearly they fulfilled orders to people who had purchased after me and had not bothered to tell me.
