Horrendous service. I ordered school books two weeks ago and they still haven't dispatched. I rang last week and was assured they were dispatching within two days (before last Friday). It is now the following Tuesday and I was assured that I would at the very latest have them today. They haven't even dispatched yet. Have been trying to phone them for over an hour today-they cut me off 3 times. When I did finally get through to someone who could process the request, they took the order number and then cut me off. Also, phone line is crackling like mad and the waiting music is very jarring on purpose to make you hang up so they don't have to deal with you. Disgusting treatment of customers. Ordered other books from Schoolbooks.ie and they arrived over a week ago. Never shopping with Easons again.

Would not order from them again , ordered books that was in stock at time of checkout 2 weeks later received only a fraction of the books it's now a week later some more are arriving as I finally received email but still not the full order absolutely disgusting service emailed them to find out about order with no reply from customer care

Shocking service. Got an email to say my books had arrived in Dundrum. Got there. 1 out of 8 books there. Apparently I am expected to go back up to 3 times. Never again.

I have ordered school books for my son. On the time of booking the webpage stated that all these books are available. Two days later i received notification that my order is processed with less than half of the books?! The rest of the books unavailable at the moment?!. Still not received the rest of the books! Cheating customers, stilling money, deliberately misleading information on website. Very dissapointed of Eason bookshop. Never ever again!

Ordered books for school , 4 weeks no delivery yet...I am worried now that we won't get them at all.paid 230 euros ...Schoolbooks.ie much much better to order , quick service as half books I ordered from them came in a 3 days time.Easons never again!!!

Delivery was a little longer than expected, and range of stationary not great on website.

Super easy to order, the PayPal checkout option was a breeze. The Sale discount code they displayed on the homepage meant it was much cheaper than everywhere else. The book was with me in 2 working days which I thought was an impressive turn around. Will order again. Much better than Amazon!

Terrible service. I purchased a jigsaw puzzle only to receive the completely wrong puzzle and when trying to look to return it and get my correct order there is no response.

Terrible service. Would never buy from Easons again. I ordered and paid for a book over three weeks ago. I still don't have it. I have emailed their customer service repeatedly and each time they send a standard email telling me that my order is complete. The last email I sent requested a refund of my money, as it is clear at this stage that they do not plan on providing me with the book that I purchased from them, but they have not responded to my email. I won't hold my breath waiting for the return of my money. I actually cannot believe how poor their customer service is. Well essentially there is no customer service, just a copied and pasted response saying my order is complete. I will never purchase from them again. It is particularly irritating as I can purchase books cheaper from Book Depository but chose to purchase from Easons to support an Irish company and help keep workers in jobs during the current pandemic. I regret that decision as I now have to purchase the book from Book Depository anyway and Easons are obviously happy to keep/steal the money I gave them for the book they they not provide.

I ordered a trilogy of books, my order was split into two parts. I only received the last book in the trilogy and never received the first two books so the book I have received, I cant read. I have contacted customer service multiple times and they keep saying the order is marked as complete (after days of waiting to get a reply) when I never received two out of three of the books. Website doesn't work properly so the order history page will never load and always crashes, the only way to get a tracking number seems to be by emailing customer service. I've finally just requested a refund, giving up on waiting to get my order and the only reply I am getting is that the order is complete. I am only getting copy and pasted responses back and my questions are never actually answered. Non existent customer service. Even if I got my delivery at this point, I still would never recommend buying from them. Been waiting weeks for my order. 30 euro worth of books I'll probably never see and no response from customer service to clarify what's happened.

I was in the carlow branch of the easons store today and everywhere was hectic, but the cashier on the tills Niamh k still took the time to ask me how my day was going and make the smalltalk and it really brightened my day, so I just wanted to say thank you for the amazing customer service!

horrible service the item i received was not what i ordered ,took over a month and can't get a hold of cust service for a refund !!!!

Love that you get free delivery for over €10 and they use An Post who are always spot on with deliveries

Terrible service I ordered books they use DPD as their courier service I was told books would arrive on the Monday and cancelled plans waited for no arrival to be told it was an automated mail with date and time but was never going to be delivered as easons incorrectly passed my details. Then waited the Thursday to a 2 hour delay in delivery time to find the box damaged with no receipt and a book missing and a book damaged. Rang easons who told me to go concert DPD but after a heated call I was told she would contact DPD and I'd have the book that evening but of course I received nothing. Terrible service with the stress of back to school last thing you need is waiting in all day to receive nothing and then to recieve a delivery with things missing and damaged good save the stress and shop somewhere else poor service.

Unexpectedly brought my car to Easons to diagnose and repair an engine fault. They were very busy, as usual, but they would have a look at the car and call me back with a report. I called in later to find that they had fixed the engine fault and also carried out a scheduled service. Thank you for fitting my repair in so quickly, first class customer service as usual. Couldn’t recommend Easons highly enough and wouldn’t go anywhere else for repairs. See you next time team.

Site needs a more accurate way of listing in stock items versus out of stock items. I've had orders cancelled several times now as the items were actually out of stock, took a few days to find out they were out of stock too...

Customer service are friendly, I made a mistake when placing my latest order and they were very quick (within an hour) to reply and refund order.

I ordered 8 boxes of crayola washable crayons as they didn’t have enough stock in store. When placing the order online I noticed that the €2,24 price per box changed to €2,99 once it was added to the shopping cart. I emailed customer service who replied within a couple of hours. Eventhough they explained that the €2,24 was the price of a no longer existent offer, they honoured it for me!
I placed the order on wednesday and received it on friday morning! It arrived in great condition, which is something to remark as crayons can break easily. The only thing is they said they would email me when order was dispached so I could track it and that never happened. It’s a good thing I was home! Other that that, it was perfect. I really like easons.
