Rip off.......Only about 20 men in my category, and half of them are 200 kilometers away in vitoria
I tired to cancel but they are keeping me to pay for 2 years, at $26 a month
Waste of money Only about 10 men on the site, and I am not interested

Bought a 6-month subscription, but bailed-out after only 2 months. Their reputedly scientific algorithms used for matching, are incompetent. Was provided with contacts much further afield than I desired while only vaguely matching my profile( e.g., I live in Sydney and was recommended a match from Port Macquarie.)
I politely requested a cancellation. However, eHarmony was adamant that I must pay the outstanding amount.
Now, they are employing a debt collection agency.
Matter is being handled by Dept. of Fair Trading and also seeking advice from LawAccessNSW.
Avoid this mercenary..and amateur... business

Cancelling is difficult
After pressing some difficult-to-locate buttons to try and cancel my membership, the website said that I must write to them and include a special password in my email.

This is not normal. Suspicious.

Thought I'd give it a go instead of tinder. Minimal people on the site. Everything locked behind a paywall and best of all minimum 12 month sign up with no cancellation policy... too bad if you meet someone (on another platform no less) and are stuck footing the bill for the full 12 months.

I challenge Eharmony to reply to any of the complaints I have left on their website

This site has many great features compared to other dating apps, but the biggest problems with your site are the costs - You are much more expensive than similar dating sites. $660/yr is ridiculous. (Maybe advertise a little less) - And the other is the location information for matches. Let me explain. If I get chatting to someone between 20km and 50km away, that is a huge difference! It's the difference between travelling 25 minutes to meet someone and well over an hour depending on where they are. This is a deal breaker for me and I should be able to know this before I start chatting to someone, and not after. If you aren't going to just have the postcode shown, like you once did, maybe have 5km increments. I understand that you do this for privacy, but no nutcase is going to find someone in a 5km radius. It would be like looking for a needle in a haystack. For people looking for love locally, I also suggest lowering the minimum range from 20km.

Lastly, no other reputable dating app makes the user email to cancel the membership. I think you only do this with the hope that people don't realise it to steal some extra money from people.

This company is a complete rip off
They con you into a subscription and then when you try to cancel they threaten you with a collection agency
They are trying to get over 500 dollars from me and keep threatening me to pay
I am currently reporting them to Consumer Affairs

Worst dating site I’ve ever been on the company does not stand by their product. I’m only two weeks into my subscription and the the company will not stand by what they give you. It’s nothing like what is advertised the matches, a horrible and not even close to what I put into the system upon sending emails to them. They refused to let me out of my contract, even though I am so dissatisfied with the service, and it only has been two weeks and I complain to them after one week. Do not buy this service until they start standing by what they are actually offering in all the advertisements.

Very discusting business practices, people must be leaving in droves, asked for refund with in 1 day and they refused. I will never even consider them again. Approached ACCC about them.

This company seems to be all about the money. The cheapest subscription is for 6 months. Once paid there are only a few matches, mostly in another state.
Their compatibility matching system is dubious, waste of time and money.
They continue to charge even after you have unsubscribed.

WHY ISNT THERE A ZERO STAR OPTION?

MISREPRESENTATION, EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE, I TRIED TWICE TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP.

Eharmful attempts hundreds for debt collectors for a subscription on their platform is horrible and minimal matches.

Paid them ages ago to try (costs too much and horrible platform does about nothing) and now they want to try debt collectors and threats,

Scam website. I am a fairly handsome, wealthy 62-yr old and after 6 months, I have had no responses from anyone. Most of the female profiles are false, with no photos or completely unrealistic descriptions (short, full of spelling errors, offhand) obviously written by some bored employee. I tried to cancel my account after a week but they were impossible to deal with and ignored me. PayPal would not refund either. A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. AVOID!!

They do not deserved even 1 star for the service paid but nothing provided.
Wrong matched, located in different states, empty profiles, wrong age, no photos. Little new profiles...
I asked to remove my profile in 2 days after I opened, they refused.

I deleted authorisation foe payment, deleted my PayPal account to avoid any further payments. Thank God, I never used my real petsonal details. They can go to hell, scammers

I've paid a subscription for eharmony twice now, once 9 years ago and the last time being 2022.
The only positive I found was that you get less weirdo's but I always find a lack of matches. I also think the company must be struggling as I really felt they were more interested in taking my money than anything else.
I've decided after trying a few dating sites that this one is just not worth the $$$'s.

ZERO stars, a complete scam and waste of money! They need to be reported for their dishonest and dodgy trade practices!

I would give zero stars if I could.

One of the matches who contacted me... thankfully I never responded... I later received an email from eharmony to imply he was a scammer. I felt unsafe and none of the matches were suitable.

I tried to cancel within 3 days of joining... was told I couldn't... I'm signed up for 6 months and this has been the worse experience ever.... First and last time I will use a dating site. Only signed up on a spur of the moment on a low day. Paying the price for that decision.....

eHarmony robs you of money, I only became aware of this when the service didn't provide the advertised services. While trying to cancel my subscription I was told I had been signed up for 2 years without my knowledge. Matches are spread over a large area and I've had more scammers contact me than real people.

Terrible. I thought I was signing up for 3 months only, nope, apparently I signed for 12 months and only been on there 2 weeks and they have taken 2 x payments already. Its a crap site, all people are in a different state, only a few in my state, not counting empty profiles.
Cant delete as they want money.
Ive deactivated automatic payments through PayPal. Took all my pics and some info of the site.
They can sue my stupid sorry back side and I will not pay for a service that didn't deliver.

Give me the scammers on POF any day at least you can tell who they are.

Eharmony did not deliver product as described or advertised. If it did it would offer a free trial of even a day or two. I signed up for 6 month and realized within the hour that my "matches" were not "matchy" at all and within a 30 k radius of my semi rural location there was only ONE person. Legally there should be a cooling off period. On principle I will be taking this further.
