Terrible dating site ever
Terrible. I thought I was signing up for 3 months only, nope, apparently I signed for 12 months and only been on there 2 weeks and they have taken 2 x payments already. Its a crap site, all people are in a different state, only a few in my state, not counting empty profiles.
Cant delete as they want money.
Ive deactivated automatic payments through PayPal. Took all my pics and some info of the site.
They can sue my stupid sorry back side and I will not pay for a service that didn't deliver.
Give me the scammers on POF any day at least you can tell who they are.
Eharmony did not deliver product as…
Eharmony did not deliver product as described or advertised. If it did it would offer a free trial of even a day or two. I signed up for 6 month and realized within the hour that my "matches" were not "matchy" at all and within a 30 k radius of my semi rural location there was only ONE person. Legally there should be a cooling off period. On principle I will be taking this further.
Never sign up for auto renewal it's a scam
I forgot I had signed up for auto renewal after a 6 month period. I basically didn't use the site and my profile was not available. Then a few days ago I got a bill for $430 for an annual renewal. I only would want monthly renewals - why would anyone want 12 months trying to find a partner?
In shock I complained and cancelled my auto renewal. They have refused a refund. I am 72 and have 12 months useless subscription. If the product was so good why would anyone sign up annually.
I was a bit hesitant getting on here…
I was a bit hesitant getting on here but I’m glad I did as I met my soulmate. We been together just over 2 years & getting married next year. I’ve spoken to Wunmi from eharmony & she is a wonderful person & great to deal with.
Avoid like syphillis.
If no stars were an option I would be rating zero. They lured me in by showing me a number of blurred profiles but, I couldnt see them in any detail without having to subscribe which I did. Having spent a few days checking, none of the visible profiles in a 100Km radius had been active in 3 weeks. I requested a cancellation of my subscription which was being billed monthly (for 12 months) as they dont let you have a single month option and they advised they would cancel the auto renewal but will continue to charge me 11 more times.
They even tried to offer to put the subscription on hold for 6 months, they wouldnt even consider a one off break fee.
Poor cust service, they claim to be "unlike any other service out there" and in that they are, they lock you in to long term agreements stating you can cancel at any time but, they will charge you just the same.

I was slightly sceptical when I joined…
I was slightly sceptical when I joined Eharmony and my first two meetings were not really that encouraging! There were also a lot of people fishing but my third meeting after a week of messaging and long phone calls really took my breathe away! It was like love at first sight but we were both quite cautious. Neither of us could wait for a second date and that lead to another. We moved in together after 6 months and got engaged 10 months later. Our wedding is later this year. We both know that we would have never met if it wasn’t for Eharmony and taking that chance. It may not be for everyone but I look at how much money I would have spent cruising hotels and clubs and the membership was a pittance compared to what I may have spent. I pinch myself every day because I cannot believe that I have found the person I have been looking for all my life.
WORST DATING APP EVER
WORST DATING APP EVER.
Paid $350 for 12 months, only to find out there are hardly any users on their site. Rang next day and of course they won't refund.
Avoid Eharmony, they are a corrupt company.
UnTrustable A Holes
Don't go near them. Almost impossible to unsubscribe and then they send a foreign debt collector after you.
Eharmony is completely immoral…
This company is a completely immoral corporate citizen who hides behind their terms and conditions to enforce unreasonable huge penalties for those who forget their renewal date. DO NOT TRUST EHARMONY.
I joined for 6 months during a very lonely period, as they kept offering 60% off to get me to resign for another 6 months. Stupidly and against my better judgment I did.
Then the pandemic had severe effects on my industry, mental health and financial health suffered and to be honest the last thing I thing of was finding a partner.
Thence I notice massive $598.80 on my credit card to Eharmony. I literally thought this must be a scam.
From and initial join of 6 months at $119 to charged without my consent $598.80.
I wrote to them to please ask for my money back or at least negotiate another 6 months at my mistake of $119……they wrote back with NO!
Disgraceful Eharmony. You have the morals not high enough to be marketing that you care about love. You are shameful and I hope people read this and think twice about joining. Anyone can make a mistake, my mine was missing the renewal date, trusting your company, but mostly ever joining you in the first place.
Disgusting!
Don't be fooled
Don't be fooled, this site is a scam.
I've used a few dating sites in the past but never been so screwed. Firstly, overpriced lock in contracts advertise a discount monthly rate (which only applies to the first month). Attempting to cancel is a nightmare. There is no cancel subscription option on the site. Despite following the 6 click cancel process... all you get is an email address and further instructions. They seem to delay responding until the auto renew kicks in for another 12 months.
Don’t be fooled by the slick ads or the…
Don’t be fooled by the slick ads or the spurious 5 star “I found my husband or wife” stories that are as fictitious as most of the profiles on the site. Also the fraudulent methods they use to trick you into 6 month and 12 month memberships is another red flag. A truly disappointing experience in my opinion. Shame on you eHarmony and anyone who is making money from your shady business practice.
Total Waste of Money!!!
They give you a 2 day cooling period and don’t follow it through and did not allow me to cancel my subscription and now I’m stuck paying for the next 6 months. I am matched with ppl who live overseas, profiles with no photos, poor quality matches with men that are not my type. This website has gone downhill just there to trap vulnerable ppl with their fake ads. I wouldn’t even give a one star rating!
Scam masters you can't believe still exist
Stay away like plague .Fraudulent advertising and you get locked into long subscription without even knowing and no way to cancel .no cooking off period . Then starts the threats involving debt collection agencies .I thought I am signing up for a trial one month plan but realized have signed me up for a year with no way to cancel .
I wish to stop being charged for…
I wish to stop being charged for eHarmony ,which I have not used for the past 5 years ,and still a monthly payment of $29.85 has been deducted on my credit card .EHarmony 1800623801.
Please advise .

Where is there a class action to join…
Where is there a class action to join to get these scammers OUT OF BUSINESS. Consumer protection groups must deal with this illegal practice. See below article about this dodgy company. If there are any lawyers out there looking for a high proflile lawsuit to get their name on the map. DEAL WITH THIS IN AUSTRALIA.
eHarmony Agrees to Pay up to $2.2 Million to End Auto-Renewal Suit
By Gonzalo E. Mon & Donnelly L. McDowell on January 16, 2018
POSTED IN ADVERTISING LAW
Last week, eHarmony agreed to pay up to $2.2 million to resolve allegations brought by four California counties and the city of Santa Monica over the company’s billing practices. That includes a payment of $1.2 million in penalties and up to $1 million in restitution to customers whose subscriptions were automatically renewed, but were denied refunds.
eHarmony also agreed to make various changes to its automatic renewal practices. Specifically, the company agreed to:
Clearly and conspicuously disclose the renewal terms to consumers upfront;
Get consumers’ consent through “a separate check-box, signature, or other substantially similar mechanism” that relates solely to the automatic renewal terms and no other part of the transaction;
Send an e-mail confirmation of the transaction immediately after the contract is made; and
Provide a toll–free number, e-mail address, or other easy cancelation mechanism.
While California law already imposes some of these requirements in connection with automatic renewal or continuous service offers, the injunction is more prescriptive in certain respects, such as by expressly requiring a standalone check-box and an e-mail confirmation immediately after the transaction.
The settlement also resolves allegations related to California’s Dating Services Contract Law, which requires specific language informing a consumer of his or her right to cancel within three business days of the contract, and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act, which requires contracts formed by electronic signature to allow for electronic cancellation. The settlement further prohibits eHarmony from attempting to collect past due membership fees from customers incurred prior to the effective date of the settlement.
In a press release announcing the settlement, a Santa Monica Chief Deputy City Attorney said that “automatic renewal is one of the critical areas in consumer protection today.” Indeed, in the past few weeks, we’ve noted that California was set to tighten its restrictions on automatic renewals and that the FTC had announced a $1.3 million settlement in a case involving similar issues.
Companies that sell products or services through subscription models need to keep in mind that various federal and state laws could impact how these models are structured and advertised. Failure to comply with these laws could result in significant penalties, especially as states, the FTC, and class action attorneys increase their scrutiny.
A wink sent from my husband 😉
Meeting someone online was something that I never really believed in, but it worked like magic for us on eharmony. After dating for years and unable to find my “Mr Right”, I decided to give eharmony a try. Mitch was the first person that I met up with in real life, and the rest is history. Now we’re married and have our own little family, I’m happier than I’ve ever been in my life. Without Mitch, I don’t feel whole. It was like a match made in heaven for us – I’m so glad I tried eharmony and found the love of my life.
Total scam
Total scam. They have literally no members there. They use fake profiles to send you a few winks then that's it. The min. subscription term is 6 months which is $300. You cannot cancel or get a refund nor you can stop the re-subscription. Stay way
Locked into a 12 month subscription
I had taken out the subscription, realised that I had made a mistake, asked for the subscription to be cancelled, this is after having the account for less than 48 hours.
I was told by their customer care team the following:
Please make special note that according to our terms and condition section 12(c) and 12(d), the 3-day cancellation policy is only applicable for subscribers residing in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island and Wisconsin. Since you are from Australia, this policy is not applicable for your account.
So the biggest Christian dating site does not have a cooling off period for Australians? Obviously preying on the vulnerable is a profitable business.
Love at last
I have to award 5 stars as they found my perfect match. We scored over 100 and its good to say that Michaela is everything I have been looking for. We share the same likes and interests ad we complete each other. For all the people saying it does not work, sorry but for us it worked out perfect. Maybe if you are not getting matches you should review your profile and make sure you are being true to yourself and others. Life is to short and so is our time as we are all a little time poor, so if you need help finding love and want a true soul mate, give it a shot and answer truly so the system can work.
For anyone on eHarmony be patient and enjoy the conversations.do some searching of your own and if you feel you are not getting noticed, re read your profile to ensure everything is correct. There is someone out there for everyone and this is one way of finding them.
Good luck on your search and I hope, like me, you do find your companion in life
