There is no customer service. The product is outdated, issues have been identified for years and nothing has been done to resolve them.
The Camlink 4K is an overpriced piece of obsolete rubbish. Buy a $10 HDMI capture card from amazon and it will be a much nicer experience.
Awful Customer Service. Ordered something weeks ago. It has not shipped, they do not respond to emails, and when you call them, you get placed on hold for 30 minutes, before it tells you nobody is available and drops the call.
Bought a streamdeck couple of months ago and been enjoying it rather well. Not used freqvently but it has been working.
However today I've noticed they now demand that you create an account JUST to add plugins for the Stream Deck software.
Elgato didn't require account before.
Why does Elgato feel the need to track and datamine everything we do?
I will problably start looking around for alternatives.
I bought an Elgato Video Capture dongle from PLI Computers in Melbourne Australia and it has worked really well. I was able to copy all my VHS tapes over to my laptop without any issues at all. Loading the software was a bit cumbersome but once it was on the laptop it was literally plug and play. Well worth the money.
Video capture: When it works it's great, but often for no reason there's just 'no signal' and only sound. Closing everything down might get it working again, but when one VHS tape gives 'no signal' (no picture) then this carries over to other videos as well so you don't know what videos are good and what are bad. For the cost of this product it needs some serious sorting out and debugging.

J'utilise Elgato depuis des années à travers plusieurs appareils (autant logiciel que produits physiques), c'est TOUJOURS une catastrophe.
Le logiciel (Payant) pour récupérer l'écran de son Ipad plante aléatoirement, remet à zéro les préférences et les logiciels sont imbuvables en interface.
Mon StreamDeck est mort du jour au lendemain, sans ne changer aucune habitude de fonctionnement dessus de ma part.
Maintenant, c'est mon HD60X qui est mort, sur une nouvelle configuration neuve après 1 an d'utilisation.
Ce qui est le plus terrible, c'est que tous ces problèmes de défaillances et extrêmes complications d'utilisation sont connues depuis des années mais rien n'y fait. Vivement que des concurrents s’intéressent à ce marché.
Bref, je ne peux pas travailler du jour au lendemain.
I've got the elgato video capture device. I think it works well. Only had a real issue with the driver, which required that I turned of some security on my windows pc for it to work. After that I've had a pretty good experience, with only minor issues sometimes.
Ordered direct from Elgato.
Wrong colour product shipped. Notified them immediately.
Took 10 days to respond. Offered for me to send it back and then they'd send a new one. I asked for refund and they agreed. Issued RMA number.
Sent back via a tracked UPS service. Didn't get a receipt from newsagent, but can see on the weblink that it was delivered back and signed for.
14 days since it was returned to them, the support team are still saying they cannot issue a refund without a photo of the paper receipt from the newsagent (that I was never given). The experience with this company has been so poor I will never shop with them again. Try their rivals instead and never buy direct from them - they are not setup to provide end customer satisfaction.
I never received an updated shipping date/estimate. I talked to customer service and they didn’t help at all. Never responded.
Bought elgato video capture and it refused to work on my older Mac , and a iPad , the latter one only a few months old.

Website seems to have a lot of beta stuff, and clunky pop ups, confusing..
So, not for me in the end, which is a shame, expensive , didn’t work for me, sent back, time …. And move on😄
Kundensupport reagiert dann wir einem gesagt wir geben das an eine andere abteilung weiter die melden sich in 1-3 tagen das ist mittlerweile 2 wochen her es ging um ein ersatzkabel für meine elgato facecam da diese stäbdig die Verbindung zum pc verliert für 1-2 sekunden und sich dann wieder neu verbindet bis heute weder was von der „anderen Abteilung“ noch von der die mich am anfang betreut hat gehört noch ein kabel erhalten auf weitere nachfrage an den support erhielt ich auch keine antwort
Ridiculous. I ordered a webcam from this site almost 2 weeks ago and my order details showed it was still processing. I contacted the customer support only for them to tell me they don't ship to APO but they had it as a clear option when ordering.
There were no updates at all and i was expecting it to arrive very soon for a livestream. After my inquiry the order was cancelled and they insulted me with a 15% discount. Horrible experience.
Great Marketers! Great Products! but Elgato/ Corsairs Customer Service is a DISGRACE. I've ordered twice direct through Elgato and on both occasions I've had issues with delivery. The customer service hours are US times, you may have to spend money getting through to a USA phone number. They don't answer the phones or leave you on hold for hours. There is 3 or 4 service levels for Customer Service so if your matter is urgent you'll be waiting even longer while they keep passing it up to another team or fob you off with some story. They forgot to package the main product in my bundle which was their fault, it took over 3 weeks to resolve, tried to tell me to claim through UPS! I phoned several times to speak with someone different that actually listened to my issue. *IF* I order again will be ordering from a 3rd party company which I know will sort my issue - if there is one... more promptly!
Ich hatte einen 1,5 Jahre alten CamLink, der leider nicht mehr funktionierte.
Daraufhin habe ich Elgato geschrieben und habe innerhalb eines Tages einen Rücksendeschein (Keine Portokosten für mich!) erhalten und den CamLink eingesendet.
Nach nicht mal 5 Tagen hatte ich einen neuen!

Schade ist, dass die Facecam sowie das Mikrofon Wave 3 NICHT mit dem MacBook kompatibel sind.
Auch der Support von Elgato konnte nicht helfen.
Viele Versuche sein über 1 Jahr. Mal geht es, aber es ist Glücksache und der Ton war oft weg oder aber die Facecam hatte schlechte Qualitäten, Streifen, flackern usw.. Ich hätte gerne alles über das Streamdeck gesteuert, funktioniert jetzt aber nicht. Gut ist, dass Elgato Kulanz angeboten hat und die Geräte zurück nimmt. Aber der Versand und Annahme sind nicht störungsfrei. Jetzt warte ich seit 2 Wochen auf die Gutschrift. Nach Bestätigung, dass die Geräte eingegangen sind (es gab leider mehere Missverständnisse, da Elgato die Päckchen nicht öffnet) haben sie für die Gutschrift eine Bearbeitungszeit von 4 Wochen angekündigt. Ich bin gespannt. Jetzt habe ich Zubehör für das Wave 3, dass leider nicht zurück genommen wird und für andere Geräte nicht verwendbar ist.
I bought the El Gato Video Capture less than a year ago used it about 3 times and it stopped working. I contacted customer support and for 89.00 they have been giving me the run around for over a month. I have complied with their 10-step analysis process to see what is wrong with the software and to this date, there is no resolution. This is the worst case of customer service I have ever had—no offer to replace it with a new product or refund. Just email after email and it seems like Im communicating with a Bot half the time. They just want me to give up to wipe me off the list. The product was a huge waste of money and time. Also when you call the customer service number no one ever picks up.
they are great marketers but products seem to suck. i have a key light mini and wifi/software never works.
Purchased a green screen. One of the latches broke off and the company is unwilling to return/refund it as it's outside the 60-day return period.
Facecam and the camera hub is constantly freezing on new windows pc. Extremely hard to get support!
