From Nick's awesome quote service and beautiful installation - ALL GREAT!!!!

Don't ever buy from Empire they misrepresented themselves about having material available for the contractual install date December 15th.They moved the date every day after that now saying the December 23rd and wanting you to accept that after you paid them several hundred dollars and disrupting home moving difficult items, especially being 89 years old.

Installers were on time and friendly and did a great job with the installation of the floor itself.

I was surprised that their solution to removing the old floor materials from the room was to toss them out the window rather than carry them down to their vehicle through the house.

I was disappointed to discover that after they left they had stained the carpet just outside the room they were working in, and they left my front landscaping covered in sawdust.

The information that was included in my contract was not what was offered. I’ve been following up and keep getting the run around. The contractor has been to my home 3 times now because my flooring wasn’t installed properly.

Salesman was very nice, personable and knowledgeable.

Gentlemen, we’re professional, very detailed, and what they were doing, polite!

The staff was patient, kind, and professional. My experience with you all, was outstanding, from day one. At the time of pick up and returning the vehicle to the site were Enterprise initially picked me up, what a wonderful feature. OUTSTANDING service, thank you all.

Kevin explained the whole process of picking out my new carpet and was very knowledgeable about different types and styles.

The contract coordination process was horrible and confusing. The is my 3rd time using Empire and by far the most challenging.
The schedules only made the process worse with confusing information on installation dates since they divide my installs into 3 events.
To add more negatives, they required me to get a Wells Fargo account, which they cheated me into a price increase ONLY because Wellls Fargo stated they could only round the finance amount UP to an even $100.00 increment (insane right?)
As the chaos continued, I was not even allowed to use the Wells Fargo interest free program, but they still tapped my credit to open the account...which is not used for anything other than the Empire Flooring items.

Empire tried to tell me I had to cancel the contract, but I reminded them of their own contract verbiage which states "...if the customer cancels there is a 25% charge" required from the contract cost!!!
Again Insane right...

I ended up having the installs completed (at that trick rate they used from Wells Fargo - still a slippery company I guess) as they elected to honor the contract THEY wrote.

So, after all of that, the subcontractors that Empire used did a pretty good job, timely and cordial.

I am a 3-time customer and my recent installation was for three rooms. However, I required a followup visit because a door was scratching my new ceramic tile. I was told there would be a $150 charge to resolve this issue. This is NOT a satisfactory resolution.

From start to finish, it was a professional application from the sales associate to the installers. Everything went off without a hitch. Everyone very professional and were a good reflection on empire. I was very happy with the service that was provided very happy with the quality of the work and would recommend empire to family our friends. Keep up the good work… Jim Hartman.

My experience was fairly good. Your sales rep was very knowledgeable and comprehensive in his presentation. I was not happy with the fact that he could not give me how many square yards the project would utilize and how much the cost per square yard would be.
Or my other responsible quotes had included the number of square yards and the cost per square yard.
An educated consumer is usually your best opportunity when transparency is available to them.

There’s a small problem with the salesman Derrick that made the process a little more difficult than it had to be. He told me to call him back the next day, so he can take the rest of the payment but he disappeared. I tried calling him over the next 3 days and he never responded. Also he didn’t update the invoice to reflect a cheaper price, so multiple times I had to explain to Empire Today customer service that I was supposed to pay $1000 less than the price listed. Derrick is a good guy but he really dropped the ball on the back end. At least a phone call or text message would have been fine if there was an emergency and I would have just got in contact with customer service 3 days earlier. Even as Jose was standing in my house, they were still trying to figure things out, which wasn’t fair to him or I.

Very patient and friendly. We didn’t feel pressured at all and he worked to get us where we needed to be price wise. Also worked to get us installed when we needed it.

From the appointment to the installation everything was great. We even had an issue with weather on our installation date and they changed it with no problems. Carpet looks awesome, great job even on staircase with turns. Will definitely be using empire again.

I've used Empire Today years ago for my family room. This time I needed bedroom flooring. The consultant, Matthew Niehus, was very helpful and thorough in explaining my options. It was an easy and pleasant experience- best of all I got a great deal!

SUCH a great experience with Empire Today recently. After getting 4 estimates, Empire was the clear choice. Installation was scheduled the same week and even though it was snowing, they showed up on time, Installation was quick and the result is beautiful. Very professional and left the rooms clean.

The consultant was professional and discussed payment options, warranties and Empire's pledge and obligation to its customers.
