The services provided by the staff at Entwistle Green in Morecambe are outstanding and exceptional. I am very delighted and happy about my experience. Staff members work as a team and are very experienced, honest, respectful and effective and just great at what they do. I cannot thank them enough for their service and help. Shaun, Emma, Janice,Emilia,Bryn and Cerys are fantastic. I will always be grateful for their help and support and I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I have a house and I finally achieved one of my life goals. I thank them for it because they deserve it.

Overall excellent at communicating swiftly and efficiently.

Don’t answer emails or pick up the phone if they know they may have to have an awkward conversation. Completely misinformed us( I suspect on purpose, you know who you are,Ben!) and have avoided all contact with us since. Their & the vendors loss I’d have been happily have increased my offer by another £15k.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience. This estate agent was unprofessional and unresponsive throughout the entire process. Communication was slow (if it happened at all), and I constantly had to chase for updates. I felt completely in the dark, and it seemed like they had no real interest in helping or providing a decent level of service.

Appointments were missed or rescheduled at the last minute without explanation, and basic details about the property were either incorrect or misleading. Overall, the process was far more stressful than it needed to be.

I would not recommend this agency to anyone looking for a smooth or professional experience.

Absolutely shocking company to sell your house with, never keep you in the loop about your house and you have to constantly ring them for updates, tell you there’s nothing they can do to help boost your homes selling, and charged over £5,000 to sell the house as they don’t let you come out the contract as they put in the clause if you cancel and the house sells within 12 weeks they will still charge the £5,400 fee, disgusting company.

I had a truly awful experience with this estate agent during my tenancy. They were disorganised, unhelpful, and constantly failed to take responsibility for their mistakes.

Firstly, I was repeatedly harassed with noise complaints that turned out to be from a neighbour two doors down. Despite explaining this to them, they never once bothered to check properly or listen to me before escalating the issue. This left me dealing with unnecessary stress for months.

Secondly, there was the issue of the postbox key. I was given keys that did not work, and after chasing them for weeks I was told the landlord had dropped off replacements. When I went to collect them, the staff were clueless and, once again, the keys didn’t work. I ended up spending my entire tenancy without a functioning postbox key, forcing me to reach into the box just to retrieve my mail. To make matters worse, after I moved out, the property manager even emailed me asking if I had returned the postbox keys – the same keys they had never actually given me.

The communication throughout was appalling. When I showed proof from their own email trail that contradicted their claims, I was essentially gaslit and told I already had the keys. I even asked for the complaints team’s number and was completely ignored.

On top of all this, I reported four separate maintenance issues during my tenancy and not a single one was ever addressed or resolved. This level of negligence and incompetence is simply unacceptable.

Overall, this estate agent is careless, disorganised, and takes no accountability for their mistakes. They make promises but never follow through, leaving tenants to suffer. If you are considering renting with them, save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.

We had an extremely poor experience with Entwistle Green. The service and communication were awful. On one occasion we were even told that the vendor was angry and had been put on speakerphone so the entire office could listen. Completely unprofessional.

It took countless calls (around nine in a row) just to get through to someone, and we were rarely kept updated unless it was by Maria. We were also lied to about the progress of our purchase.

We were repeatedly reassured that the vendor was progressing and eager to sell, which ultimately led us to break our chain with two young children. In reality, no progress was made and when we eventually had no choice but to pull out, they didn’t even acknowledge our email until we chased them.

The service was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful throughout. Strangely, they were warm and attentive at the very beginning, which makes me think if your sale is completely straightforward they may be fine but for us, it was a deeply disappointing and stressful experience.

I was searching for a rental property with very specific requirements, which made the process quite challenging. Bella was absolutely incredible throughout the entire journey. With a perfect balance of patience, persistence, and professionalism, she guided me through every step and went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met. Thanks to her dedication and tenacity, she was able to secure the perfect property for me—something I couldn’t have achieved without her support. I am deeply grateful for her hard work and expertise. Sold my house thorough this company, I was assigned
Stephen as my agent. I have noting but praise for this company Professional and attentive at all times, constant updates of the progress of the sale , which went through very smoothly with Stephens help and advice.

Would highly recommend the letting team at the Lancaster Branch, Erin, Shannon & Michael. They have been fantastic in helping us to rent out our flat quickly and effectively. All emails have been answered within 24 hours and they have quickly found services to deal with everything that needed to be sorted out.

Raised a safety issue with an exposed electrical socket at least a month ago. Multiple emails / calls still not been rectified. (Let property)
Take extra care when entering into an agreement to rent from them.
Clearly safety issues is not paramount and a serious concern.

The Maghull office mismanaged my property from 2017-2024, according to the contract they were supposed to inspect the property every 3 months, this never happened despite regular requests.
During the tenancy I had only one written inspection report in 2024 which made me realise the property was not being managed professionally and I needed to take back possession.
The person who carried out the inspection stated she was refused access to one of the rooms to which I requested several times they return to see what was going on, this never happened.
When I took back possession the property was in a horrendous state and required over £5000 to bring it back to a habitable condition. The smell of smoke was evident before you even opened the door despite being a non smoking tenancy.
The white walls and ceilings had turned yellow through nicotine which was not mentioned in the report, the room which was not inspected raised my concerns to the point I considered ringing the Police as the whole carpet was sodden with urine and what appeared to be finger nail scratch marks on the walls as if someone had been confined in the room, not surprising that the girl was not allowed access.
The elderly female tenant, who had evidently been subletting the property, which would of been evident had the regular inspections taken place, left with £1500 rent arrears which I could of claimed through my loss of income insurance however Entwistle Green had lost the original references and guarantor information so I could not claim.
Whenever I rang to raise my concerns about the constant late monthly rent payments or lack of inspections the young female office assistant would say she will look into it and call me back, I can not recall ever receiving a return call.
I would like to say when I escalated my concerns to the office manager he would inspire me with confidence that he would address the issues, unfortunately I can not.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Entwistle Green, particularly with an agent named Joe Jaison. I arranged to rent a property through them and paid both the deposit and the first month’s rent after viewing the house with Joe. He showed me the property, and everything was discussed clearly or so I thought.

However, once I received the keys and visited the house again, I was shocked to find the property in an unlivable condition. The walls were badly damaged, and the house was full of damp and mold. It was completely unsuitable for anyone to move into, especially considering my mother’s health issues.

I immediately contacted Joe the same day to inform him that I would not be moving in due to these serious issues. Instead of offering any support, he told me bluntly that I would not be getting any refund neither for the rent nor the deposit and that I should just return the keys.

This experience felt extremely unfair and unprofessional. It seemed like the company was more interested in taking the money than ensuring their properties are safe and livable. I’m sharing this review to warn others to be very careful when dealing with Entwistle Green. Make sure you inspect the property thoroughly and do not rely solely on the viewing arranged by the agent. Get everything documented before making any payments.

We were in the process of looking at buying at house at the start of this year. We found a house listed with this sorry excuse of an estate agent, and they booked us in for a viewing at 12.15pm. We got to the viewing and within 5 minutes there were at least 50 other people waiting outside to view this house. Everyone that had booked a viewing had obviously brought one of two people with them (a lot of first time buyer couples and their parent/s) so it was absolutely heaving.

The estate agent turned up late in her workout gear (leggings and a crop top) and told everyone to go in. She ushered a minimum of FIFTY PEOPLE into a three bed semi-detached at the same time. We decided to wait a bit (and so did a few other people) before going inside because the house was literally full to the brim with people, and this was making it impossible to view the house properly. The estate agent became visibly annoyed that some of us were waiting to go inside (maybe she was due at the gym judging by her outfit?) and she kept trying to force everyone to go in while the house was overly full - and she became visibly more and more annoyed at those of us waiting, including some eye rolling. But we waited.

Eventually when there was around 20 people left inside the house, we went in. We had a few questions at the end of looking around the house, and we approached the ‘estate agent’ to ask her the questions (as she hovered in the kitchen scrolling and texting on her phone, speaking to absolutely nobody who was viewing the house). She couldn’t answer a single question about the property - including when it was built (it was a newbuild, so we wanted to check if it was in warranty due to the huge amount of cracks in the property). She told us she didn’t know and to ‘call the office’ so I’m not sure what her point of being there was - except to unlock the door and stand there and let it be known that she was annoyed?

When we called the office with our questions, nobody there could answer them either 😂 and they made ZERO effort to go and find our answers to our questions. When we emailed to ask if they would consider a reasonable adjustment in the form of allowing a less crowded viewing for a customer with autism, they didn’t even bother to reply.

Entwhistle Green is an absolute JOKE of an estate agent. And this is proven by the fact that the exact same property that we viewed in February (which has presumably had a lot more of these 50 person ‘viewings’ since our one Saturday in February) - is still sat there for sale after a WHOLE YEAR since being listed 😂 even after being reduced by £10k last year.

Easby Road owners beware - your house isn’t selling because the estate agent you are paying isn’t doing anything to sell it 😂

Don’t waste your time trying to view any of Entwhistle Green’s properties. And if you’re a seller - you should definitely find someone else to sell with because this lot certainly won’t do the work for you.

At least the silver lining is that they did us a favour by showing their true colours early on, instead of us ending up in the process of buying a house with them - only to have them be as useless for that as they were for one single property visit.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS ESTATE AGRNTS AT ALL COSTS!!!!
After being told they will give me a flat if I paid them a weeks rent (£250) they would then be able to get me the flat.
So I paid this money and 24 hours later they said I could not have the flat and I was NOT getting my money back…… all this because I had 1 CCJ thatni didn’t even know I have.
I am currently sleeping in my car, I have a full time job I am just struggling to find a flat.
I explained this to the manager (Martin) who was extremely smug and sounded quite pleased with himself when he told me I can’t have my money back. I have never ever been so insulted and kicked when I’m already down.
PLEASE TAKE THIS ADVICE AND GO TO A DIFFERENT ESTATE AGAINTS …

Rat infestation but they don’t think that’s urgent enough to ring landlady. The lady dealing with it isn’t in work but somehow they can’t tell me anything because she’s not in! What sort of a process is that when colleagues can’t check on what’s happening with maintenance issues. When I asked why they can’t ring rather than email landlady they hung up on me hope they don’t chew through electrics as if I was paying for property management for my home I wouldn’t be very happy.
Who ever trains your staff hanging up is the last thing you should do. Avoid this company.

I view a property which I put an offer in and have been waiting over 3 weeks to hear back I rang then multiple times which they didn’t answer and also didn’t ring me back then I found out today that the property had an offer accepted I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone and when I asked about the building (breeze block) they would contact me back and still didn’t

Myself and my wife finally got a viewing of a ground floor not far from where we were living! Ground floor flat based in mater close long lane L9 after the first time the agent never showed up last Saturday.

Today she was 15 mins late with no apologies not so never! The flat was not cleaned as promised by Beth's manager Tuesday just gone.

there is damp in the bathroom near the shower, laminated flooring damaged and lino from the kitchen lifting off the floor. We mentioned this to Beth which replied write a list on a form on line and we will send to the landlord, which we never heard before.

Living Room and both bedrooms you couldn't swing a cat in! For £800 per month you expect much better.

I did mention to Beth will the messing around last week the appeal has gone, with no response from Beth! Stay clear from entwistle green no professionalism or customer care what so ever.

Don’t use this agent. Terrible management. Waited a few hours before viewing to tell me I can’t go to view the property. Won’t recommend or use again.

Mandy Boot who looks after our tenants is always very helpful. Shes goes above and beyond. Definitely recommend them as Managing agents

This letting agency is the worst, I was booked in for a viewing, when I got there nobody showed up, I spent over 30mins waiting and they still didn’t show up , I tried calling and they didn’t even pick to atleast explain to me why they didn’t show up , run from them guys !!!
