Easy to access report - awkward to challenge entries
It's easy to register, and to gain access to your credit report. However, I had a dispute over a credit entry that had expired the 6 year limit, to be reported on my profile. It took me submitting two cases to request a review (neither was fully investigated properly), and as such a subsequent complaint was raised to get it removed.

Falsified information
Equifax is holding false information about me. False association incl. name, false monetary information affecting my credit rating... In short: Equifax is acting in most dispicable, fradulent and defamatory manner. I'm about to ask for interim injunction since they do nothing to remedy this situation.

Not fit for purpose
Impossible to navigate or find the correct sections to add information. Postcode finder weak, offers spelling errors on info it already holds on you, you cannot add further information yet has the power to prevent us getting a modest loan. We have great Accounts, UK Citizens from birth and now this AML regulation is JUDGING US.... and stopping us buying a small property. The process will not prevent the real criminals, just bring the housing market to a halt. Guess what, it already has.

This company is shambolic
This company is shambolic. They display a score via their website which does not match the score they show via the nationwide app. When I raised it with them they fobbed me off with generic waffle and in short blamed me when I have zero control over the score and how it is displayed. They marked their own homework and closed the case presumably to pretend they met kpi’s for response time.
They are misleading lenders with inaccurate information and unless you have a reason to check you wouldn’t know.
They also reverted back to my address two moves/six years ago with no explanation. Incompetent. All the other credit agencies Experian, TransUnion had the current information. How can you get this wrong? Why am I taking time out of my day to correct their mistakes.
Useless.
