A timely review
A timely review, but they've just passed the buck back to my lender. No resolution at all. The bank treated me similarly in the first place. We're just numbers in a machine, not people

Wish they are banned from the UK!!!
This organisation had very outdated and incorrect information about me. Their old data caused a lender to decline my application. The Equifax customer service is very poor, slow and completely misses the point of any message sent to them. I wish they were banned from providing advice in the UK. Their competitors are SO much easier to deal with!!!
They reviewed my credit score today after they took into account the basic corrections I made - it has RISEN with over 140 points!!! If that is not a proof of their own incompetence, I do not know what is…

Although it’s important to remember that the credit score we provide to you through myEquifax is just for you and cannot be seen by any lenders you may apply for credit with, we do have some general guidelines for you to follow if you want to improve or maintain a good credit score:
• Register on the electoral roll at your current address
• Establish and maintain a positive credit history over a period of time across a variety of credit accounts
• Make your repayments on time. You can avoid missed payments by setting up direct debits
• Ensure that any open credit agreements are listed at your correct current address
• Keep your credit utilisation low and avoid taking out cash on your credit cards
• Avoid having multiple credit searches in a short period of time We'd love to help explain this in greater detail so please feel free to contact us using online Help.

Poor customer service
Poor customer service, as a staff member failed to understand my request and essentially told me to find the information myself, which led me to call back and ask the same question again.
A simple task with straightforward information was not provided, and they tried to get me to subscribe to a paid service instead of helping me find out whether a fraudulent purchase on my credit report could be removed.
It still hasn't been removed, and now I've been told I need to raise it again or wait six years.
They claimed that the fraudulent entry was on my credit report and that the information was correct, which would be true if my details had been used fraudulently.
You might think this sounds far-fetched and that I deserve it, but I’m an honest man.
