The in house tutors are spot on, but the handling of the course by err is some what to be desired, at every step of the journey so far has been delayed on ERR's behalf, currently awaiting on attending for the 2391 week and despite completing all the requirements for this have been told ime on a waiting list and they cannot tell me when I will be able to attend to complete this, again slowing down the whole progression through the course.

Great experience at ERR Leeds everytime I go for practical sessions. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful with the students. I highly recommend anyone interested in getting into welding and fabrication.

Avoid ERR! I have finally parted ways with ERR after very poor customer service. Helplines are useless so don't waste your time.support is non existent. Any problems, they don't want to know. They set unrealistic time lines. Only time they are interested is when it's charging you more money for extensions to complete your work.
Then reply to me claiming they no longer recognise me as a customer... funny they knew me well when taking my money. Watch out for any positive reviews, I've not spoken to a single student who is happy with ERR. No idea how they get an overall review on here with any positives.

Wouldn’t allow me to pause or cancel my course even though I’m currently going through a divorce and leaving my family home. DONT SIGN UP. They act like they care about you but all they want is your direct debit commitment.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Think Carefully Before Signing up
My experience with ERR has been extremely frustrating,
I have decided to leave the UK permanently and return home to live with my family. I have provided substantial evidence of my departure and circumstances, including travel documentation and other supporting evidence.
Despite this, ERR is refusing to cancel my course unless I close my UK bank account.
The biggest issue is that I have repeatedly asked ERR to show me the exact term or condition that requires me to close my UK bank account, and so far they have not provided one.
Instead, they are keeping my course active and continuing to demand monthly payments
This is where I feel customers need to be extremely careful. , that raises serious questions about the fairness and transparency of the cancellation process.
Keeping a UK bank account does not mean someone intends to remain living in the UK. People can have perfectly legitimate reasons for keeping an account after leaving the country.
I feel that I am being ripped off financially and pressured into closing a legitimate bank account simply to stop further course payments.
My advice to anyone do not join ERR
I am still waiting for ERR to provide the contractual basis for their demand that I close my bank account.

Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I found a significant amount of the course material to be outdated, including videos and learning resources that did not properly reflect the current requirements. I also felt that the support provided when I was struggling was not good enough.

I failed the exam twice and, rather than feeling properly supported to understand where I was going wrong, I felt that I was largely left to figure things out myself. I eventually had to pay for additional private tutoring and also incurred my own travel and accommodation costs in an attempt to get the support I needed.

What made the situation more frustrating was the way my concerns were handled when I raised them. I expected a training provider to take responsibility for the quality of its learning material and provide appropriate support to students who were struggling, but that was not my experience.

I am not leaving this review because I expect everything to be easy on a training course. I understand that electrician training is challenging and that students have to put in the work themselves. My issue is that I paid for a course and expected the resources and support advertised to be fit for purpose.

Overall, I was very unhappy with my experience and would advise anyone considering enrolling to properly investigate the course content, support available and what happens if you struggle or fail an exam before paying.

I have lost more then £7000 for this electric course.but still not become electrician. Truth is that don't believe the agent who comes to your house because that person was full lier.he told me this money is for full course how long it's take doesn't matter.because I told him English is my second language he told me no problem we will help you.but in my hole course nobody has helped me.and later they told me you're course period is finished. I have to pay extra.so people before you invest in this type of thing please 🙏 think twice don't lose your hard earned money.

Course only for current workers. Poor communication and practical sessions are bad.

My experience with ERR while studying my Gas Safe course has been excellent so far. I have now completed three weeks of practical training, and I have found the college staff to be extremely cooperative, helpful and professional. No matter how many times you ask a question, they are always willing to explain it again until you fully understand. The workshop is excellent and has everything you need to learn and develop your practical skills from A to Z. The college canteen is also very good, and overall the learning environment is really positive.
I would especially like to mention our Gas Safe tutor, Vince. He is extremely cooperative, knowledgeable and informative, with a great deal of experience in the gas industry. As English is not my first language, there were many things I initially found difficult to understand, and I often had to ask questions more than once. Vince was always patient and took the time to explain everything clearly and in detail. His practical experience and knowledge have been extremely valuable to my learning.
I am genuinely very satisfied with my experience at ERR so far. If you are looking for a better future and want to learn a new skill, I would definitely recommend ERR. Whether you are interested in Gas, Electrical or Plumbing, the courses available at ERR provide excellent opportunities to develop your skills and build a career. I particularly recommend ERR to anyone looking for a part-time course, as you can continue working while studying at the same time. The practical training is very well organised, and everything is explained step by step and from A to Z, giving you the knowledge and confidence you need to work in the field.
I would highly recommend ERR to anyone looking to learn a new trade and invest in their future. Excellent staff, excellent facilities and a great place to learn.

⭐ 1/5 — £7,740 spent and I feel completely let down

I would seriously urge anyone considering signing up with ERR LTD to think very carefully before committing themselves financially.

After approximately FOUR YEARS and a total cost of £7,740, I honestly have to ask: what exactly have I received for my money?

In four years, I have received TWO course books.

That is £7,740 for a course where, in my experience, the level of teaching, communication, progress monitoring and ongoing support has been completely unacceptable.

I signed up because I wanted to TRAIN to become an electrician. I was not already an electrician — that is the entire reason I needed professional training in the first place.

How is someone who is NOT an electrician supposed to teach themselves how to become an electrician?

Electrical work is a skilled profession involving potentially dangerous systems. I expected to be properly taught, guided and supported by experienced professionals. I expected regular contact, progress reviews, structured learning, practical guidance and someone actually taking an interest in whether I was progressing.

Instead, I feel as though I have largely been left to teach myself.

Where are the regular phone calls asking how I am getting on?

Where are the progress reviews?

Where is the proactive tutor support?

Where is the structured teaching that justifies a £7,740 price tag?

In my experience, the communication and interest in my progression has been virtually non-existent.

I genuinely feel that obtaining payment has been treated as more important than actually helping me develop into a competent electrician. After spending nearly £8,000, I do not believe the training and support I have received comes remotely close to representing reasonable value for money.

Two course books. Four years. £7,740.

I think those figures speak volumes.

If I had fully understood at the beginning how much of this I would apparently be expected to learn by myself and how little ongoing contact and support I would experience, I would NEVER have agreed to spend this amount of money.

I feel angry, disappointed and financially let down.

Anyone thinking about enrolling should ask ERR LTD, IN WRITING, exactly what their £7,740 actually pays for. Ask how much face-to-face or practical tuition you receive, how frequently tutors contact you, how your progress is monitored, what practical training is included and exactly what support you receive when you don’t understand something.

Do not assume that paying thousands of pounds automatically means you are going to receive thousands of pounds’ worth of teaching and support.

Based entirely on my own experience, I cannot recommend ERR LTD and I deeply regret signing up.

I am happy to say that the training environment was very well organised and disciplined throughout the training.

The instructor was very knowledgeable and supportive. At the beginning, I found the training quite challenging and sometimes struggled to follow because I had limited site experience and was unfamiliar with some of the language and industry slang. However, as the training progressed, I gained more experience and became more confident in understanding and following the content.

Towards the end of the training, the instructor provided excellent support, guidance, and encouragement, which helped me complete my training with confidence. I really appreciate the instructor’s patience and support throughout the course.

The location of the training centre is also very convenient and easily accessible, including for those travelling by their own vehicle.

More practical session required. Lack of sufficient trainers .

I’m coming to the end of my level two plumbing and far from happy ! if you don’t work for a plumber this course isn’t for you , it’s mostly online based , then I’ve been requested to travel 4 hours to the nearest site for an exam at 8:30 in the morning no travel expenses , the on site practical is over an hour away too so for 3 weeks no expenses cor that either and when I start my level 3 I’ll be travelling 4 hours , staying over 4/ 5 nights and travelling 4 hours back for £30 , disgusting! None of this is explained when you sign up but when you raise it you’re told “ it’s in the small print “ ! Overall this course has been a joke and for £7500 which is gonna cost me nearly £9000 by the time I’m finished I’d say be very wary before you sign up because once you’re locked in you can’t get out !
