Do not go with this company
Let me say firstly, that if I had an option to rate this as 0 stars, I would have. I have never experienced a day trip quite this! In my opinion as well as many others on board, the best decision would have been to cancel the trip due to high winds. We were told there was no refunds if we decided not to depart!! The waves were higher than the boat and we were unable to snorkel for long because the water had a strong current which pushed many of the passengers into the reef. Many people had scratches and two people nearly drowned. Many on board were sea sick and vomiting. In short, I wouldn’t go with this company again. This trip does not reflect what is advertised on the internet.

The speaker was amazing and very knowledgeable, but the ship is too big and there were way too many people on board. It was very hard to get a spot at the handrails to really observe the beautiful whales. Also, I found it quite interesting that kids under 4 don't get provided with a little snack. I had been informed of that the day before during a phone call, so it wasn't a surprise - and apart from that we wouldn't have needed it anyways, but for the price that 1-2 adults pay for the trip it should be possible to include something for the little ones - even if they don't pay for the trip. How much could that cost the company?
I personally will not book the experience again, although the biologist - as I said - was lovely and did a great job.

My booking was cancelled but no refund given
My booking was cancelled just a few minutes after I booked it. Obviously a scam to get the commission from the operator. No phone call to let us know, just an email that went into the Junk file. But still charged us and try and get someone to answer the phone. Forget it. Now I have to contact my bank to do an investigation. If I could give them zero stars I would. Scammers

Kuranda experience
The bus driver gave us a lovely commentary on drive to rail though he did answer some questions from guests but we couldn't hear the questions. He informed us of places to eat, and things to enjoy.Thabkyoi
