First Floors Reviews

Great job by Frazer and Sam. High quality work carried out by experts. Very pleased with their no-fuss professionalism.

David and the team made the whole experience of getting new carpets very easy for us - from start to finish they did an excellent job. Would definitely recommend.

Really pleased with our carpets. The whole experience, from guidance on choosing the right carpet and securing a good deal through to the fitting, was excellent! We’d definitely recommend First Floors to others. Thanks again!

My second carpet from First Floors fitted by Tom and Stephen was excellent. Both worked hard without a break and focussed on the job. Arrived on time and set to work immediately.
A great team indeed - thank you.

We are absolutely delighted with the work carried out by First Floors. They have completely transformed our home, installing new LVT flooring downstairs (thanks Frank 😉) and carpeting throughout the rest of the house.

From the initial consultation through to completion, every member of the team was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely cared about delivering a high-quality finish. The workmanship has been exceptional. The attention to detail is clear in every room, and the standard of installation has exceeded our expectations.

Having lived through a significant flood claim and a lengthy reinstatement process, it was important to us that the final result was done properly. First Floors have absolutely delivered. The quality of the materials, fitting and finishing touches have been outstanding, and our home now looks better than ever.

The fitters worked incredibly hard, were respectful of our property, kept us informed throughout and left everything tidy at the end of each day. Nothing was too much trouble, and any questions were dealt with promptly and professionally.

We would not hesitate to recommend First Floors to anyone looking for flooring or carpeting. Thank you to the whole team for your hard work, professionalism and excellent craftsmanship. We couldn’t be happier with the end result.

Ive used First Floors in the past for carpets, but this is the first time I've ventured into the world of laminate flooring. Ray and Jay were the team who laid the flooring this week. They were very friendly, helpful and professional. I'm delighted with the results, and will be looking to have my hall done in the not too distant future. Thanks too to Daniella and David. Would definitely recommend First Floors.

The staff in store at initial contact were professional and very helpful as was the person who came out to survey job pointing out a few small details that may need to be dealt with during the job which would not be in the quote. The fitters arrived on time and got straight into ripping out existing flooring in bedroom and getting straight in to laying new flooring. There was an issue with levels at one end which could not have been foreseen. The lead fitter got in about resolving. This held them up and had to return the next day to complete. I am a bit of a perfectionist but would have to say the finished job was very good. Would highly recommend First Floors.

Ordered carpet for stairs and top hall. Great assistance from staff in picking carpet. Carpet filter did a fab job (Robert) and love my new carpet. Would purchase again.

Lovely flooring fitted well by very pleasant, helpful guys.
We can certainly recommend First Floors.

Very happy with the service and efficiency of getting our carpets bought and fitted, nothing was too much trouble. Very pleased and what a difference it makes

I would highly recommend First Floors. We bought luxury vinyl tile oak herringbone style to go from the front door through the hall to our new kitchen extension and utility. It looks fantastic. The fitters got the majority of it done in one day and even managed to match the pattern in with the existing LVT in the living room. Fitters were friendly and couldn’t have done a better job. We are so pleased with the result.

Excellent. From start to finish. The best in the West of Scotland. Highly recommend if you want quality and value for money. Delighted with the results.

We've just had engineered wood flooring laid by First Floors in two rooms and our hallway, and we are delighted with the result. They were friendly, helpful and professional at all times, making the process much easier than anticipated. The team who did the fitting were highly skilled, explained things as they went along, and went the extra mile, literally: on the day they were due our road was closed, and they had to work round traffic restrictions to get to our house. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.

Experienced staff, nice tidy shop. Great service. Tidy worker in home, when laying floor

I can't recommend First Floors highly enough. They spent time to discuss the options with us and offered valuable advice and alternatives we could consider. It felt like a very personal service and everyone we spoke to there during the process was really attentive and knowledgeable. The installation team were professional and did a fantastic job. Overall, we are delighted with the result.

Very professional service. We had 3 bedrooms, a sitting room and stair carpets fitted. As we were also decorating the house they scheduled the fittings in blocks that fitted around the other work being done on the house. Very knowledgeable and the fitters were very professional and tidy. Great service all round

Very professional service from start to finish. Loads of choice in the showroom to choose from. Fitters have done a fantastic job, especially on a tricky shaped hallway. Delighted with the overall purchase.
Many thanks.

First Floors were excellent throughout our customer journey. From looking at samples, costing, answering questions and especially the floor fitting team who were fantastic and worked so hard to make sure the job was done right and to a very high standard. Everyone was friendly, good at communication. The fitters were great, reliable and tidy. We are delighted with the final result and will use them again.

The fitters were exceptionally. Turned up on time went out their way and did an excellent job. Tidying up the kitchen before leaving. Floor looks great. 👍🏽

Very chuffed with the new floor in our living room, hallway and cupboard. The fitters did an excellent job, and the boards are great quality and value for money. Would definitely recommend
