Arriving damaged isn't the experience we want anyone to have, and not getting a reply on top of that would be frustrating for anyone. We do have a return and replacement process and we want to see this one through properly for you.

Learning the correct posture from the start is the whole point. A suit that supports a natural horizontal position lets her build proper technique rather than habits she'd have to unlearn later, so it's lovely to hear her teacher is on board.

Just our usual gentle note: the floatsuit is a swim-development aid rather than a life-saving device, so an adult within arm's reach is always the rule.

One gentle note, since we always say it: the floatsuits are swim-development aids rather than life-saving devices, so staying within arm's reach of the twins still matters even as they get more capable.

Three weeks sits within the 2–3 week window we quote, as our suits travel from our overseas facility. That's a deliberate choice to keep them affordable for families rather than pushing the price well up, but we know it doesn't help when you needed it by a certain date.

The UPF 50+ fabric was a deliberate choice. Long days by the water shouldn't mean constant sunscreen top-ups, so building the sun protection right into the suit felt like the obvious move. Lovely to hear it did its job.

And so glad the sizing landed perfectly — that's why we anchor to chest and hip measurements rather than age alone.

We manufacture at our overseas facility, which is what lets us keep FloatBuds priced the way it is for families — producing locally would push the suits well past $75, and that wasn't a trade we wanted to make. The flip side is that returns travel a long way, and we understand that's not what anyone wants to hear. It's exactly why we put so much into helping families get the right suit the first time — checking chest and hip measurements before ordering, and asking us anything at all beforehand, so the one that lands is the one you actually want.

Freedom of movement is such a big part of it. Without bulky arm floats getting in the way, little ones can actually practise the movements that turn into real swimming. So glad he's getting that, and that the hooded towel is earning its keep after the pool too.
