I was surprised it really works
I was surprised it really works. My son is learning to swim and the swimsuit gives him confidence. The towels are really nice but the price is a bit to expensive for the quality of the product. But still we are satisfied. Let’s see how long the product will last.

Ok but not brilliant
Just back from holiday with our 3 year old grandson. He used the 3 to 4 year size and is 17kg or so,.well within the expected weight range. Found that whilst it did support to some degree, it didnt keep his head above the water like it shows in the videos when he was upright playing which meant he lost a bit of confidence to float on his tummy or back. If they are only for use when learning to swim i.e. on the back or front rather than general floating and safety it should be made clear (maybe I missed it) but the videos show children paddling upright with heads above the water. Didnt work for us. Every time we let go, he sank with his head below the surface almost as if he had neutral boyancy

Thank you for such a considered and detailed review — this is genuinely useful feedback and you've raised a fair point 💙 To be clear on it: FloatBuds is a swim-development aid, not a life jacket. It isn't self-righting and it won't hold a child upright with their head above water on its own. The 360° foam is deliberately designed to encourage the natural horizontal swim position — tummy or back, body level in the water — because that's the posture children need to learn to actually swim, rather than the upright bobbing that traditional floaties tend to create. That's why it's always for supervised water play with an adult within arm's reach. We take your point that this should be unmistakable from the outset, and we're passing it to our team to make sure it's clearer wherever people first see us. Many parents say their toddlers become much more confident in the water after a few sessions.
The suit keeps children in a more natural swimming position than armbands alone, encouraging kicking and arm movements rather than just keeping them upright I highly recommend this. My little one is much more confident:)

I’m really happy with this purchase! The quality is excellent, the fabric is soft and comfortable, and the colors are just as vibrant as in the photos. It fits my little ones perfectly and they were comfortable wearing it at the beach. Definitely recommend!

My 3 year old LOVES his Floatbuds
My 3 year old LOVES his Floatbuds. He’s a bigger guy so I sized up and it fit perfectly! It did take a while to come BUT, I live in the states so that’s to be expected!
The confidence my toddler had in the water was worth it for me. He asks to go swimming now because he has so much fun in the water. I love watching him not be scared to practice putting his face in the water and kick and move his arms with his Floatbud! I’ve recommended it to all of my friends.

I had a very disappointing experience with FloatBuds.
I ordered a suit for my son which took over 3 weeks to arrive and the sizing was completely incorrect and it did not fit him at all he is nearly 4 and i ordered size 5-6 but it was still too tight . In UK clothing he wears 4-5.
When I contacted customer service to arrange a return, I found the process extremely frustrating. Instead of providing a straightforward return solution, I was repeatedly offered a 20% discount to keep an item that was unusable due to the sizing issue.
After going back and forth for some time, I was eventually given a return address which cost approximately £15 to return the suit to China & the address provided appeared to be invalid and the parcel could not be sent.
This involved additional time and costs that I should not have incurred. As a customer, I expected a simple return process for an incorrectly sized item, but instead I felt I was being discouraged from returning it.
Based on my experience, I would not purchase from this company again.

Asked to cancel it after it got to 2 weeks as I knew it wouldn’t arrive in time for my holiday and I ordered from Amazon instead.
I was told I needed to pay for the return which was international and expensive. After I quoted my consumer rights I was ignored!

One thing worth flagging too: FloatBuds is sold exclusively through our own website — we have no Amazon store and no authorised sellers there, so anything listed under our name isn't our product. Shipping takes weeks, Returning is too expensive because of shipping costs
Buyer beware. This is for the Floatbuds floatsuit. This is clearly an international store. It took 2.5 weeks to get to me despite paying $3 for "priority" shipping. On the website, it really should state clearly shipping timing expectations depending on where you're shipping to. Also, the website makes it seem like you can return, but that is a joke too. When I asked to return, they told me because shipping costs is so expensive to return, they'll just offer me 20% back instead. Had I known this was shipping from so far away and would be so expensive to return, so you basically can't, I would've never ordered it. You're better off ordering from Amazon or another store that is closer with better return policies. Also, I tried to review their product on the actual website, but it sent me to some third party review website called Judge.me where I'm sure no one will ever see it. So these are not independent reviews. What a joke. Don't recommend!!

On returns — we ship from our overseas facility, which keeps our pricing far lower than it would otherwise be, but it does make return postage costly. That's why our team offered a partial refund as an alternative to you paying to send the suit back. It clearly wasn't the outcome you wanted, and we'd like the chance to sort it out properly.
