The Fast Fashion of canopies. Bought a canopy due to the company's statement of quality. The product is described as being resistant to wind damage. After just over a year of use, the top part of the canopy ripped. I called the company and was offered NO help at all. When I respectfully explained my disappointment, the second rep I spoke to told me "the life expectancy of our canopies is only 1 to 3 years." My product lasted just over a year. If this is the case, the fact should be noted on the company's website. The customer should be told they will have to re-purchase each season. When I asked for any sort of discount, the rep informed me about an upcoming sale on "in-stock items." I asked if I could go ahead and take advantage of the sale. The rep checked back with his manager and told me no. This just makes no sense at all.

Paid $160 only 6 months ago and it had faded to PINK. I contact them (assuming they were a reputable company), only to be dismissed. The owner had been nerved to offer a discount for a replacement! Are you kidding me? I wouldn't give them a nickel. It should have been replaced since it had been less than a year. I even sent a photo but he referred to their ridiculous warranty instead. They do not care about their products or their customers! ZERO STARS!

We ordered a replacement canopy for our swing. They sent us the wrong size. When trying to return it, they have me take million photos, pay for the return shipping out of my own pocket, only to tell me they can't refund me until they do a full inspection of the canopy. I will never ever in a trillion years do business with this monstrosity of a company again!

Purchased the caopy from Garden Winds last April. Installed several months later and only had it up for two months. Put it up again this year and the material split, has holes, dry rotted and discolored.
Customer service said it was out of warranty and wouldn't give any credit or replacement. I would never buy another product from this company again.
This company is a rip off
This company is a rip off! Their replacement canopies are the lowest quality at the HIGHEST PRICE (almost double the price from other vendors), don't last ENOUGH FOR THE PRICE, and they charge a lot for delivery. They use UPS, which sucks as a delivery company as they are ALWAYS late or loose your package. Avoid them at all cost, OVERPRICED, RIP-OFF.

Second time buyer from this company. The replacements do not last more than a season. Discoloured in about two month. Started to rip off at the stitches after the winter storage. Could have bought a new swing for the money already spend.
The canopy is precise thou no doubt about it. Would you spend more than a $100 for that?

I ordered a replacement canopy for my Sunjoy gazebo in October of 2021. It was out of stock. I went on my merry way and looked into Sunjoy and was able to purchase a replacement canopy through them, the manufacturer, at a much lower price. Come June 2022, I received an email from Garden Winds saying that my order has shipped. It had been so long I had no idea what they were talking about. I called them immediately, and they told me it was the canopy I had ordered. I told them I had put that in my cart back in October, most companies would check to make sure I still want it. They rudely told me that's not how they do business. I rudely told them maybe they should as I will be returning it as soon as I get it. I have done that, but it cost me $12 to learn that lesson! Never ever ever would I do business with this company again! Rude customer service and sending me an item I had placed in my cart 8 months after the fact is absolutely ridiculous!
Faded Canopy. No Help
I ordered a replacement canopy for my pergola. It has been installed for approximately 4 months and it has dramatically faded to the point where it doesn't match the fabric that the side panels are made of. Started as a beige color and turned into a faded pink. I contacted Garden Winds and they said they would "make an exception" for me and replace it with the same thing. They will NOT offer a refund for this garbage product. They insist on blaming it on "inclement weather" that caused it. So, know going in that they expect their products to last about 4 months. Avoid.

The swing it's self had held up pretty well. This year having to buy replacement seat and canopy. 3 years old. I don't want a garden winds product because the canopy ripped when putting on for the second season. Only lasted one summer.
I tried to take advantage of their "system wide" 20% off sale...
I tried to take advantage of their Black Friday / Cyber Monday sale and placed an order on Friday the 26th and the 20% off discount was rejected because the item was "out of stock" and three business days later the canopy was shipped to me. I placed the order anyway because it said that the item would not be available for months in the future and I didn't want to run the risk of not being able to purchase it at a later date. Contacted customer service and they said, "too bad, so sad..."

I have been a customer of Garden Winds for several years and last purchase upgraded to the most expensive material in hopes that it would last more than one year in our not so violent thunderstorms in Michigan.....well, unfortunately I spent the extra $100 but these clowns did not better the hooks to attach it to your gazebo, therefore, shortly after install for year 2, its a piece of crap, looks awful. What is the purpose of the extra $100 upgrade if you use the crap from the lower grade product and don't make it overall better? Make your product worthwhile, and better yet when you sell something as a "better or best" product, make sure it meets those minimum requirements, its obvious you did not do that. Basic skills people, basic skills and common sense.....

this was the worst customer service ever! They did not accept our credit card as it is linked to our APO AE (Armed Forces Europe) address. We didn't want it shipped here... we just wanted to pay. They told us to contact our credit card company to change our address to a new, and non-existing address. Guess that'll teach us to serve the country.

Poor canopy quality with poorer customer support! Run away!
The price would lead you to believe the canopy is the same or better quality than the original. You'd be sorely mistaken. Poor canopy quality with much worse customer service. You're better off buying a new gazebo than forking more money over to garden winds every 6 months when the winds blow. And yes I carefully removed and stored my canopy over the winter, only to have the tabs tear on reinstall in the spring around the stiches. I can only imagine this is due to material degredation due to UV, again a sign of poor and cheap material quality.
