This management company has been with us for a couple of years, and they overcharge us at every opportunity - bringing in expensive subcontractors and billing us service charges for things we don't need or use.

The service itself is poor: the building is dirty, and there are constant issues with the lifts, gates, and garden.

Customer service is just as bad. They don't respond to emails, and they don't answer the phone either. AND block managers constantly lie which lead to untrust, and this is most horrible experience when you don't trust the company who managing your home

Do not recommend.

I reported an issue in April regarding fencing on the estate which I believe presents a potential safety risk, including sharp and unsafe fence panels.
It is now September and, despite the management charges for the estate continuing to increase, the issue has still not been resolved.
I appreciate that repairs can take time, but I am extremely disappointed that a reported safety concern has remained outstanding for around five months. I would hope that issues of this nature are treated as a priority and dealt with promptly. This is certainly not the case with Rosie. A poor performance in terms of customer satisfaction.

Absolutely shocking company.

They do tell you what they are charging you for, but the amounts they charge are completely unreasonable and, in my opinion, totally disproportionate to the services being provided.

Yet again I have been charged for things such as grass cutting, children’s play area maintenance and a “professional fee”. The children’s play area near us has never had any work done on it, yet we are still being charged for its maintenance.

What is even more disappointing is how they react when you question these charges. After my previous review, Amelia Sandford called me and later sended letter me saying that my calls and messages would be restricted because of my “tone” and alleged behaviour. I had not been repeatedly calling or messaging them — they contacted me. I simply expressed my opinion about the charges.

It seems that they are happy to send bills, but not so happy when a customer questions the amounts being charged.

In my experience, the charges are excessive, and the way complaints are handled is extremely disappointing. I have completely lost trust in this company.

Think very carefully before dealing with them and check every charge carefully.

Brooke was extremely helpful throughout the process. Very responsive, clear and took the time to work through the different options with us to find a competitive policy that suited our requirements.

Brooke Tyrrell gave great customer service, following up with me a year after a quotation to give me a price and cover that I could accept. Her communication was prompt, polite and clear throughout. Hopefully I will be able to renew this policy next year, too.

I have used Gateway (previously AIS) for the last couple of years on two properties and have been consistently impressed with their service and good value. Their relationship with insurers like Aviva means they get good bulk deals. I have compared them with other brokers on the market but returned to them several years in a row. My main point of contact is Brooke and she is prompt, clear and helpful at wading through terms and complexities. Alex has also been really helpful at different points.
